Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

There was a moment of confusion among the lycans as they tried to process what was going on and everyone looked around trying to figure out where the attack was coming from.

Jeran took advantage of his chance and pinned Ssrena, putting her in a chokehold until she passed out from lack of oxygen.

The totem spirit faded away as its summoner lost consciousness.

Fei looks around in the aftermath of whatever just happened, quietly relieved that the spirit had been banished. He then helps shepherd the lycanthropes to their respective homerooms before returning to the (now much quieter) hall to make sure there was nothing else he could assist with.

Kitty was surprised and delighted when a room assignment appeared in her hands.

"I got one! Looks like I'm in Mr. Ormarr's class."

It could have been worse. You could have killed everyone. I thank you for not doing so. This doesn't mean this is over, but we'll finish it later. Definitely the hardest I've ever fought, though. Oh, right. Sorry about your rats, I was under the impression you were completely destroying Agartha. Well then, I'll be off.

Whether Alton shakes Jim's hand or not, he'll then leave to find Aananda and the others. In fact, sending to Aananda

Just putting this back. It seems to have been lost in the break.

Going from memory here cause my reference sheet is at home, but Ta'Su is in Keaton's homeroom and I thought Alton was in Ori's..but I'm not sure. I forgot where I put Su'Ta.

Whoops. Forgot we had homerooms set now. Nevermind. :\

"You don't understand. For Jeran honor is the most important thing. Nothing else has meaning without it, that sort of thing. From his perspective I stole his honor by forcing him to take command of the Pack after he had renounced the forest law and by making him do things that were against his personal code. In the long run I think this coup will be good for him. It's possible he may even forgive me someday, but at least I did something to try and make it right."

She squirms down in her seat as Miss Jones glared at her for talking while she was taking attendance.

"And proper winds, too," Arielle agreed. "But I think this is going to be pretty hard on the natives. Still, it's been fun. Concert and giant metal dragons and weres gone wild...so hard sometimes not to interfere. And a wonderful lack of pesky little brothers."

Not privy to the telepathic conversation, Vai slumps, still sobbing and shaking. "I... I duh-don't know what that means... but... wuh-we're not s-s-safe anymore... that means.. h-he can find me." Vai tightens her grip on Ephebe, panic beginning to well up inside her.

"Krays is right Vai. We're not gonna let him take you. We already have extra security measures that we use for me so that the Champion of Madness doesn't just snatch me, so we can just use those same protocols for you too. We can get Mom to put a tracer on you just in case, and you won't go anywhere alone. We can work out a schedule so one of us is always with you. And if the unthinkable happens in spite of all of that, then we will come and find you just like you guys came and found me when I was taken. "

"Been too long since I shifted like this."

"Definitely. You'll have to watch that. Wouldn't want to get too tame," she said with a chuckle as she picked up her hammer and hefted it over her shoulder.

"I'm all ready to go as soon as you are."

male

"Like you need me to go anywhere." Canis replies as he scoops her up in his arms. "And I'm only tame when you want me to be..."

"First stop, this Dragon Empire they were talking about. Someplace warm I think." Like miniature comets, Arielle and Canis shoot up into the sky, into orbit, and then into the depths of the Dragon Empire.

Krays' clamness assures Vai, and the sobs cease. Now fully half-elf again, Vai wipes away tears from her red-rimmed eyes. The panic was still there. Hiding somewhere... but right now she could only think of how awesome her friends were. "You're right Ephebe. Of course you are." Vai sits down and sighs. "He might try though, and he is really strong."

Gustav manifested Force Screen, just in case, then peeked out of the Art room. The Jeran person was talking, forcefully, with an unfamiliar young woman. Gustav scanned the hallway, from the lycans on the floor or standing around looking blankly to the kobolds walking around. Whoops. One of those kobolds was Vakkler. Professor Vakker. Who was taking down names on a piece of paper. "Time to exit, stage right." Gustav muttered to himself.

The black-haired youth slid out of the art room, pulling his map scroll out and looking at the arrows. "Next class. Whatever." he whispered. That other kid, Fei, appeared to be helping some of the lycans move down the hallway. Gustav timed the speed of his walking to match, keeping the larger bulk of the were bodies between him and any authority figures. Fortunately the taller lycans were still glassy-eyed. With stealth honed from years of being the accidental reason for destroyed bridges delaying much-needed trade caravans, avalanches threatening the town, collapsed dwarven tunnels, multiple flooding embarrassments, and a collapsed mountain, Gustav stealthily moved away from the former battle and down the hallway. Feet, don't fail me now. he thought. Inspiration's sarcastic reply was instantly in his mind. Your feet have more sense than your head, and left some time ago.

Gustav studied the map scroll as he walked down the hallway, other students moving past him. Everyone was talking about "homeroom" like it was something new. By the time he got to his assigned classroom, several minutes had passed from that strange earthquake-like event. "At least they can't blame me for that." he said under his breath.

The youth entered the room, not seeing anyone familiar. None of the pretty girls from before, at least. Gustav quietly slipped into a chair in the back of the room and consulted with the psicrystal in the necklace he wore. What was that earthquake? That flash of light? Why did the people fighting the weres act like something bigger was happening? he asked. Unknown. Without an outside survey, we lack information. the amethyst replied.

Gustav wondered what class he was in.

Vakkler's homeroom was: Jiminy, Nadya (she hasn't made an appearance yet, but she will), Albin, Enre, and Gustav

EDIT:

"Yes, we really should. Okay, Vai, we'll walk you to your homeroom before going to ours so you don't have to walk the halls alone."

Okay, so Vai is in Aananda's homeroom along with Jim, Fei, and Borin. Krays and Ephebe are in Keaton's homeroom along with Phaeze, Fieri, Bradley, Ursula, Jeran and would be Ta'Su but he's gone. Su'Ta was in Sifu Daiyu's homeroom along with Nasima and Percy.

A girl with long blond hair sits demurely next to Gustav in homeroom.

"Excuse me," she said quietly, "but you should really sit down as neatly and quietly as you can. Professor Relkav is a stickler for the rules."

"Alright, kids, so far the only one of sitting down and being quiet is Jaiye and from what I've been told she was enchanted into it, so if the rest of you could please behave likewise before I decide to brush up on my enchantment skills, thank you. Now, where was I....Oh, yes....Bonnie stop drumming on the desk it's very distracting...Okay, Oneiro, yes, you're here....Belyu? Is there a Belyu here?"

"I'm here Professor." Belyu says as she slips into the room. "Sorry I'm late, I was looking for someone."

Kitty walked into Ormarr's classroom. It was pretty much how she remembered it. There was a centaur there. And a passed out something or other, but whatever he was it wasn't human. Looked like reptile of some sort.

"Hi," she said, awkwardly. "Umm...wait...Saffire, no! That's not a toy," she said, diving after her wayward familiar as he started using a set of tongs as a teething toy. "I'm so sorry. He chews things when he gets nervous...well, more than usual anyways."

With the hallway now apparently abandoned, Fei makes his way to his 'emergency homeroom', with an emergency stop at the workshop first.

Perception Check: 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (3) + 32 = 35

He stops at an outside window as he rounds a corner, noting a difference in the light outside. He leans over to look up, and blinks in surprise as something catches his eyes near the horizon line. He sees...stars. There were no stars in the 'night' sky of this place.

The young monk makes his way outside and looks up to see a sky he is much more accustomed to seeing on his own world.

After a few moments he hears the homeroom bell sound again. Realizing he no longer has time to go to the workshop, Fei heads straight for the classroom as carefully as he can.

"Hell, Miss..." Ormarr takes a moment to look at his homeroom list. "Tanaka? Hello again, Saffire. Please don't eat my veterinary equipment. If you are interested in it I can always give you a check-up."

"Sorry, Mr. Ormarr," she said, pulling the tongs away from Saffire and giving him a throwing star to chew on instead. "I'll try to keep him from eating your equipment." She couldn't stop grinning. A teacher other than Professor Aananda had actually spoken to her and remembered her name. Sure he'd had to check the list, but still. Her name was actually on the list.
