Gustav Stonecutter |
Gustav was puzzled as the new students appeared to be fighting the weres. Body and paper flew against claw and tooth. Manifesting Force Screen first to raise his AC (to 30), the black-haired boy considered his options. He couldn't get close enough to do Emphatic Transfer. No crystals to do Bend Reality. He wasn't allowed to cut loose with Energy Wave or Disintegration. Astral Constructs, Energy Walls, Wall of Ectoplasm, Ectoplasmic Shamblers - all were useless in such tight quarters. Ah. Gustav knew a power that could strike precisely on enemies alone, leaving friendies unhurt. Smiling, Gustav began staring at each lycan in turn, including clusters of them, doing what nonlethal but aggressive damage he could.
Gustav began singing in a low bass, almost under his breath. Invisible force bubbles the size of tennis balls began exploding soundlessly on the lycans' hides.
(Concussion Blast, 9 pp each, 4d6 nonlethal damage, 4 targets at a time that are no more than 15 feet apart, targeting those on Jeran Darkclaw and closest to Gustav first. Since he can target 4 at a time, Gustav will overlap the non-lethal damage as possible.)

Fei, of the Sun Soul |
Fei gets some solid hits in against the totem spirit. It smiles at him. He gets the impression that the damage he did was only a small fraction of its health.
Fei once again does nothing to avoid the blows from the totem spirit, taking every hit it lays against him and absorbing the energy.
As it slips past him and hits Jeran again (who is subsequently healed by Oneiro), the young monk yells out over the din:
"Jeran, if you cannot hurt this creature, then focus your efforts on the woman who caused all of this! I will keep it occupied!"

Rylehtin'akksavith |
Ryleh grounded herself within the enchantments of Agartha, deep in the earth underneath her. They weren't as strong as they used to be, but there had been only her to maintain them for so long. She tried to do as her grandfather taught her, but it was meant to be a group ritual. She pulled in Aananda, Ephebe, and James into a link with her, using Vai, Krays, Tamrin, and Fieri as anchors to keep them all anchored within their bodies. She sent her consciousness into the wards towards the building energy, pulling the others along with her and using their strength to help her try to dissipate the energy.
Jeran Darkclaw |
Jeran looks like he's going to argue and then he just nods and leaves the totem spirit to Fei, knocking out Rintol on his way to Ssrena, making sure to pull his punch so that he didn't actually kill the weretiger.
"The challenge was from you, Ssrena, so you're the one who should be fighting me," he growled.
Rylehtin'akksavith |
::Hello, Grandmother.:: Ryleh hears when she first starts trying dissipating the energy. ::Ephebe tainted this energy with bad luck. It might not be a good idea to tamper with it further.::
::This is my home Taron. Did you not expect me to defend it? You know better than that.::
Alton Keme de Eil |
"Okay guys, you know what statues to save. Hurry!" Alton says as he turns away from the screen for a moment. He turns back and chants out a spell, filling in all the empty holes in the walls with statues again. A moment later, a small swarm of fire rats swarm into the room and begin crawling up the walls.
EDIT: Those with true seeing can tell the new statues are just illusions.
Agarthian Storyteller |
I would say that when you try to throw them and they don't move, you would know some aren't real.
Jim continues using telekinesis to pull statues off the walls, directing them at any statues that appear to be being taken away.
One of the smaller fire rats, not much bigger than a mouse, turns towards Jim and breaths more fire than it's body should have.

Phaezeriel |
Phaeze Manifests Temporal Acceleration, giving himself three rounds to act in which time does not flow. He can interact with the staues during this time as they are "unattended objects," but he cannot be detected or interacted with in any way by anyone. While speeded up his second mind does not get to act, but his psycrystal does.
In the first round Phaeze Dismisses Body of Iron, Manifests a quickened Solicit Psycrystal allowing his psicrystal to take over one of his Telekinetic Force powers, he then casts True Seeing. 15 real statues go boom.
In round two, he manifests a new Telekinetic Force and 30 statues go boom.
In round three, 30 more satutes go boom.
When he returns to real time, 15 more statues go boom as his second mind takes it actions.
That is 90 of the real statues. How many more are there?

That could be a problem. Fieri is vulnerable to cold and in no position to be dodging. :(
Fieri and Alton are both firebirds so what hurts Alton will most likely hurt her too.

So I has a question, after Enre swung some more he seems to have been forgotten. He is still hitting Lycans or they dropped yet?
Apologies. There seems to be a miscommunication. Enre can easily wade through the lycans leaving a trail of wounded and unconscious behind him. If you want to engage the totem spirit in combat, feel free. You've had more than enough time to get there. Sorry for not making that clear before.
