Alright, so to the best of my knowledge, this is the current list:
DarkestHeart - FBI - Halfling Gunslinger
Misroi - Housewife/Office - Halfling Sorcerer
Storyteller Shadow - Psychiatrist - Dhampir Paladin
Vincent Flemming - Ex-Marine - Pantherfolk Slayer
Death's Adorable Apprentice - Law Student - Aasimar Oracle
Haladir - Professor - Human Rogue
Newbonomicon - Security Guard - Elf Ranger
Kios - Pro Gamer - Monk
mcridill - Combat Engineer - Inquisitor
Loup Blanc - Professor - Magus/Brawler
I'm putting up a soft deadline of this Friday for completing submissions, however, if everyone finishes up before then we can get into the game faster. Remember - I'm strongly considering two groups right now - and I'd love to make 10 awesome players out of 10 awesome submissions.
Anyways, I've reread all the posts here but I feel like I'm still missing an unanswered question somewhere. If that question was yours please ask again, I'm all ears now (all ears as in "listening closely" as opposed to "OH GOD THE HORROR WHAT WAS THAT THING IT WAS ALL EARS AND IT WANTED TO EAT ME WHY").

Ah yes, SIZ doesn't really have any exact equation - the rulebook simply describes it as the "average of height and weight." This passage might give some insight however.
Mythos Comparative Sizes
This table equates approximate weight with game SIZ. In Call of Cthulhu, SIZ pertains not only to weight but to volume and height as well. This table should not be relied on absolutely: it will not useful for creatures lighter than air, gaseous, able to change mass, or made of plasma or ectoplasm.
SIZ|English Weight|Metric Weight
4 38-51 pounds 17-23 kg
8 109-120 pounds 50-55 kg
12 156-168 pounds 71-76 kg
16 220-239 pounds 100-109 kg
20 310-338 pounds 141-154 kg

I actually had us in graduate student housing. There's apparently two on campus, and I chose the cheaper of the two. Manville Apartments.

A bit about your DM!
Most of you probably met Phil Howards at a game store, convention, or perhaps a coffee shop in the vicinity of one of those places. At first glance he fits a number of stereotypes - heavyset, glasses, novelty t-shirts, etc. However, upon starting conversation you found him to be both well-groomed and well-spoken. Although Phil is very passionate about his gaming, he is oddly secretive about the rest of his life - you don't even know his real age, although you'd guess early 40's to late 30's. This secrecy, coupled with the fact that he does show a genuine interest in everyone else's lives has many of you suspecting (half-jokingly) that he may be some sort of a spy or con man. So far though, he's proved to be nothing more than an excellent GM.

Sorry I over slept yesterday. This is Phoebe Barrett I am trying to figure out the tuition cost so I know her yearly income. I need sleep so I will try to battle the internet when I wake up in the afternoon.

So I've finally managed to divide the players into two groups based on investigator abilities (and to a lesser extent pathfinder party composition), and it looks like Group 1 is ready to roll!
Russel Wilcox, Alexis Trowner, Phoebe Barrett, James O'Malley, and Johnny Walker can head on over to the gameplay thread. If we can fill up another party I'll create a new page for Group 2.
Also I forgot to give you all your Harrow Cards in the gameplay thread, so everyone check out the spoiler below. The Harrow Cards give you one use only abilities and are granted very rarely, so make good use of them. See the Player's Guide or campaign info tab for info on what your Harrow Card does.
Alexis Trowner: 1d54 ⇒ 30 The Midwife (NG - Stars)
Phoebe Barrett: 1d54 ⇒ 12 The Dance (LG - Keys)
James O'Malley: 1d54 ⇒ 39 The Rakshasa (LE - Books)
Johnny Walker: 1d54 ⇒ 52 The Wanderer (NG - Books)

Hey, folks.
Upon reflection, I don't think I really have the time to devote to what's essentially two more PbPs. I am very, very intrigued by the possibilities of this game, but I just don't think I'm going to have the time to do it right at this time.
Thanks for considering me, abd best of luck to everyone.

I liked the way Haladir posted his submission as an email, so I'm going to do the same thing.

Hey Phil! Finally getting around to sending you this, as things have been busy in life. I know that I'm still in the deadline you posted on the flyer in the store, but I do want to apologize--I'm sure you already have lots of good folks ready and waiting to go, hopefully you haven't started but I'm really excited to have a chance for this. Not sure if you remember, but I'm the one who was planning the release party for Holler of Huluthulhu when that was coming out--may have jumped the gun a bit on that one, huh?
Anyway, I know I talked with you some in the store about character concepts, and I had a few ideas rolling around. My final submission is Sigvard Asmundsson, a Nerdic warrior from the Domains of the Dragon Kings, who worked with Professor Lamarimar as a bodyguard several times over the years. He's a brawler with the shield champion archetype--basically like Americana Man from Sensation comics--who's done a lot over the years and is eager to travel the world and test himself while helping those in need. I've included his backstory, which admittedly is fairly long, but the basics are that he's a skilled warrior who fought with only a shield at first on a dare, and then because he got good at it and saw it as a way to prove how tough he was. Working for the professor gave him extra experience as well as money, and now that he's been summoned for the funeral, he's interested to see what's up. Not the brightest guy in the world, but he should be fun and capable. I haven't finished purchasing gear for him in terms of mundane adventuring equipment, but I can get that together before the game starts.
I've attached the backstory like I said, as well as the character sheet. And if you want to know more about me, feel free to hit me up on ProfilePage or on my cell: ###-###-####. Thanks for running this and hopefully this is what you need!
