Phoebe Barrett is has long wavy black hair. Her left eye is brown while her right eye is green. She has developed a pale skin coloration from hours locked away from the sun.

Background

Phoebe was born and raised in NY. She knew from early childhood she wanted to help people when she grew up. Never squeamish Phoebe decided to become a nurse well before her general education was over.
Phoebe married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Barrett. Thomas was always supportive of her intent to be a nurse and she was thrilled to marry a soon to be police officer. Wanting something dramatically different for their lives together once married they moved to Arkham. The different location had one unforeseen side effect. Phoebe quickly realized she did not want to be a nurse at a typical hospital but wanted to treat the insane. Thomas grew to except this after a little while and they were happy together for almost four years despite all attempts at a child failing. Their lives together ended when Thomas was killed in a fire.
His death was two years ago. Understandably so Phoebe has grown depressed and has thrown herself into her work. Much of her social life has suffered do to the almost fanatical devotion to her job. When with friends her sense of humor has darken and a desire for a touch of danger. She tends to drink a lot and going out drinking and dancing is one of the few ways to assure she will spend time with friends, the few she has left.
