Hey folks! I'll have my stats up when I get home. Kazuo is a Sword Saint ronin Samurai with face skills.

hey man,

is it OK if I never done it before?
I played actual in life games, I got a ranger lvl 2 (he'll turn 3 tomorrow)

But never played online I want to test a new idea (lvl 1 sorceress) Just to get the hang of the character I'll make sure I play one in real game before your online game starts but next to that, she's new and I'm new to her and this way of playing the game so I might get some stuff wrong....

Just a quick reminder that this game starts on Saturday, November 1st. I'll post the first "in game" post on Saturday and give folks the weekend to introduce their characters to one another and put the finishing touches on their stat blocks. The game will start in earnest the following Monday; and with the upcoming holidays I anticipate we'll finish by early December.


Just a small nooby question, as this is my first non real life event, how do the dice work?
I mean I saw there are tag for it and they turn green, but is there a online calculator for it, or am I suppose to acctually rol a die and put the trown value in?

A good question. Do it like this:

[ dice=Perception ]1d20 + 3 [ / dice ] (without the spaces)

and it comes out like this:

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12


perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
So it rolls for you, that's easy :)

you'll need to read the scroll for 1 min and roll a 1d20+your caster level against the DC11+caster level of the curse.

I just realized I can read magic (spell-like ability) but I can't cast any scroll spells.

Not that it matters now, but does the scroll count as level 4 or 5?

Very close to done now...when Tera decided to grab the idol I thought things were going to get epic. It basically has a handful of spell like abilities that it can cast ad nauseum and I had visions of weird things happening while you all passed the thing around!
