Steps through the old wooden doors dropping the hood back uncovering her head. "Naiyra Treliss reporting as requested. What do you have for us this time Mr. Kludde?"

![]() |

The Game Derik is in seems to be dead, I was wondering if it would okay he played in Naiyra's place instead. He's a level 1 Human Paladin, all round fun guy, witty and smiting evil. Prefers to show others the the virtue of law and goodness by setting an example rather than forcing it down their throats. (not like some of those other Paladin you meet.)

![]() |

He Derik, stay at Eolowyn's side! She needs you!
I think it is rather soon to call that game dead, the GM announced little to no posting until Christmas.

Get back there and finish the job, Derik! Humans, you can never depend on them. I think it might be best if you had someone else take my place. It seems I have been called to fulfill another mission.
Naiyra got pulled into another game just as I thought I would start this one. Can't play 2 at the same time and there are a lot of players in que. I hate having to drop out, but it's better someone else gets a chance. I'll get back in line. I think Sardon is looking for a game. He applied for the same game as Naiyra but didn't get picked.

![]() |

Reporting in! Looking forward to playing with everyone.
Oh, and sorry for stealing Naiyra! If I stole a rogue does that make me a super rogue?

DM Kludde |

Still mustering a fourth player, sorry for the wait.

Okay, here's my dwarf barb. I forgot that he'd actually leveled to 2, not 1, but he's still an ickle baby character! So to speak.
A heavily-scarred dwarf stomps into the thread. A dwarf walks into a bar.... He has a cigar clamped between his teeth and a semi-manic grin.
"So you're my colleagues, eh! Nice to meetcha! Dorn's the name! Smashin' in the skulls of dirty stinkin' magic-users is my game! If you use it, don't point your foul unnatcheral spells my way, and I won't have to smash in yer skull! Now, who's buying drinks?"

![]() |

Radnor grins, "I'm no dwarf, but I'll stand my round! Radnor Acton, I'm one of those unnatural spell slingers, but, well, not really - I want to be a Knight, but it seems silly not to use what you've got..."

![]() |

Dorn gives the human a squint-eyed look.
"You poor bastard," he says. "At least you look like you could stand up in a stiff breeze, unlike most wizzerds an' such! Don't worry, lad, we can break you of that 'magic' business. We'll get an axe in your hands, and put hair on yer chest!"

![]() |

Radnor pats his trusty lance, now clearly the work of master as opposed to the battered wreck it once was, "Ha, I'm more of a lance kinda guy, drove this right through a troglodyte the other day, but the bloody thing refused to die - damned cheeky. I could see through the bleeding thing and it was still trying to set me on fire. I was standing on this throne thing, with its crocodile on one side and it holding some kind of fire spell, it was pretty fun. I stabbed the crocodile in its face and then my eagle finished off the troglodyte and he fell about a thousand feet and splattered everywhere."

DM Kludde |

Right, we're all here. I'll open the gameplay thread soon (takes a bit to open it and tonight is gaming night, so might be a bit late).
Welcome all!

![]() |

"Hmmnnnn.... not bad, not bad... well, p'raps you're not useless, son. Nice enough weapon you've got there, at least. Just keep the foul sorceries and other abominations against nature away from me."
Sounds good!

DM Kludde |

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. The gameplay thread is finally up - It's a long text dump, but the good news is: free boat ride!
Of course, Radnor doesn't mention the part about being showered in acid and passing out. Ah. You can't have everything. ;-)

You are only able to purchase a wand from a chronicle sheet correct? since it is not on the list of items always available. Just trying to clarify

dien RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16 |

Okay, I think at low levels (such as ours) you are technically correct, since wands are not listed on the Always Available, as you said.
However:
Beyond the gear noted above, your character is restricted
to purchasing additional items from his accumulated
Chronicle sheets, or by capitalizing on his prestige within
his faction.
Thus, this represents the way that anyone who survives their first PFS scenario often purchases their first wand of CLW-- spending the 2 prestige from that to get a CLW wand. As you complete more scenarios, your prestige goes up, and your faction will grant access to more and more magical items, including wands, even if you have not encountered them on a Chronicle sheet.
At least, that is my understanding of it.

DM Kludde |

Dien's way is how I understand it works as well. The wand of CLW is widespread practice :)

![]() |

Ah yes I see the chart for it now. Thanks. in that case if we are in a town big enough I would like to purchase a wand of CLW
Starting 4PP-2PP for CLW=2PP
If we are not that is fine I will snag one next time.

DM Kludde |

Happy holidays all!

DM Kludde |

Best wishes for the new year!

Are you sending the chronicle sheets to our email or how does that work?

DM Kludde |

I'm sending download links for pdfs

May I play the pregen for this? She was in Part One of Quest for Perfection- and actually played it at a game store the same day that the online game finally started. (With Part one for Quest for Perfection as DM or Player credit) I should be able to claim gold and she has a wand of cure light wounds, but I can't tell if this game is active or not?
If I can't get credit, I'll just play the level one pregen.
