Round 2 update

Sturion swings his Waraxe? weapon at the bandit near him. I'm not sure which one you mean. The most obvious target is Bandit(4), but I could be wrong. If you want a different one, say something soon. The Sturion lands a decisive blow on the man.

Bandit(1), in an act of desperation takes one final slash at Sildur. stab: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5. He calls out "Send my share of the spoils to my wife!" and then fails to make contact and falls to the floor in a heap. out of the fight.

I think that's about it. Let's give Thorn a chance to post an action. If he doesn't get something in in the next day or so, I'll think of something reasonable.

In the room to the side, the rest of the bandits join the fray.

Round 2 (continued)

Thorn scores a decisive blow on Bandit(7). The bandit staggers noticeably, but is still on his feet.

Dru changes direction and lays into Bandit(5) with all of his might. He draws blood with his bite, wounding the man.

Bandit(10) coughs and draws a sword, getting ready to wade into battle.

Urga, yes the doors are open. I moved you into the room. Urga completes his run around the building and enters from the far side.

Bandit(2) yells at the rest of the bandits in the room, "Hurry up you sickly louts, join the battle." He then moves back into the main room and takes a stab at Thorn. attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6. Thorn's armor protects him from any harm.

Bandit(11) stumbles out of bed and lines up behind Bandit(2) in the doorway.

Bandit(6) is still up the stairwell, unseen by the adventurers.

Rikael strikes at Bandit(7), scoring a hit directly on the man's chest. The bandit falls to the floor.

Bandit(3), seeing his friend fall, strikes at Rikael. attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 confirm crit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3. The bandit strikes a masterful blow on Rikael, causing a severe wound. Ouch!

Bandit(4) strikes at Sturion. attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5. Being an armored hulk has its advantages, as Sturion once more avoids harm.

Agatha casts her hex on Bandit(3). Will save, dc15: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5 The bandit is befuddled by Agatha's magic.

Bandit(5) turns his attention to the bear that just bit him. attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6. The blow goes wide and Dru avoids any more wounds.

Sildur steps up and thrusts his spear at Bandit(5). The bandit falls to the ground, bleeding profusely.

Bandits 8 & 9 draw their weapons and move slowly toward the battle.

Enter barbarian rage as a free action. Gain +4 to str and con, -2 AC and a +2 to will saves. Makes Rikael healthy at two hit points, albeit extremely angry at the bandits. If he can, he'll attack on this turn, I'm not sure that gaining the extra hit points at the beginning of his then like this makes him un-disabled this turn, or the next. Will wait to roll attack until I get input from Deuce.

Round 3!

Sturion continues to swing his waraxe, savaging bandit(4) and knocking the man to the ground in a heap.

Thorn, Bandit(4) is not a valid target. Instead, I had you move to Bandit(5)'s square so that Bandit(2) is a valid target. If that is really not what you want, we can retcon it. Thorn moves to the north and then takes a thrust at Bandit(2). The blow strikes true and the bandit crumples to the floor in front of the doorway.

Dru has no valid targets either. I sort of messed up... see the note below.

Bandit(10) moves into the main room and pokes at Dru with his shortsword. "Foul creature, back to the forest!" attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 2 = 3 damage: 1d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 1 - 2 = 1. The man misses Dru wildly, not even coming close to hitting the bear.

perception, dc15:
You notice that bandits 10, 11 does not fight nearly as well or as ably as the rest of the bandits you have seen so far.

Urga bursts into the room from behind, swinging at Bandit(3), but failing to make contact.

Bandit(11) comes out of the room in support of his comrade. "It must be magic that lets them travel with bears!" attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 - 2 = 15 damage: 1d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 - 2 = 5 This bandit manages to land a blow on Dru, bringing his wounds to a serious level.

Bandit(6) appears from upstairs and moves down to this level. He yells back up, "Rhokar, it doesn't look good down here. You had better hurry!" The bandit fires at Urga with his shortbow. attack: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 1 - 4 = 15 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Urga's armor keeps him safe from harm.

So, for some reason I overlooked the fact that Dru goes after Thorn and got to here. We have two choices... either Dru does nothing this round and Rikael goes next or we rollback to Dru's turn and replay what happened from Bandit 10 on. Which do you prefer? I only ask because I think we are at the pivotal point of the battle and we are going to either have a bunch of bandits fall or you get to deal with the second wave from a much less advantageous position.

Once he is in place, he takes a swing at Sildur. attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 - 2 = 14 damage: 1d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 - 2 = 5 A combination of Sildur's armor and the bandit's weakness save Sildur from any damage.

Bandit(9) moves out of the room after his comrade. He attacks Sildur from the opposite side. attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 21 damage: 1d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 - 2 = 0. The bandit scores a hit but is able to make only a superficial wound. 1 point nonlethal damage

stabilize check, Bandit(5): 1d20 + 4 - 3 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 3 = 21
Bandit(5) stops bleeding so much and is no longer in immediate danger of dying.

stabilize check, Bandit(7): 1d20 + 3 - 8 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 8 = 5
Bandit(7) continues to bleed from his wounds.

Going to start round 4 on a fresh post.... standby.

Initiative, creature 3: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

From the upstairs, two skeletons appear. One makes it as far as Urga and lashes out with a rusty scimitar attack: 1d20 ⇒ 1. The skeleton makes contact with nothing but air.

A second skeleton follows the first down the stairs, but cannot make it into contact with an enemy.

Sturion steps up to Bandit(8) and lands a significant blow on the bandit. The man staggers but stays on his feet.

Thorn tries to take revenge on Bandit(3) for striking Rikael. You posted two actions since your last turn, one that would hit and one that would miss, so I'm going to reroll it as a tie-breaker. If you want to retcon this, let me know. stab: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8. Thorn makes a solid hit on the bandit, but not enough to keep him from fighting.

Dru uses all of his focus to attack Bandit(11). Between a solid bite and swipe from one claw, the bandit is knocked to the ground and does not get up.

A third skeleton(!!!) shambles down from upstairs and into the far room.

Urga is up!
Edit: Urga, you should know that this happens at the start of your turn:
A strong emanation of cold radiates out from the skeleton. You are chilled by its effects and take 1d6 ⇒ 5 points of cold damage.

Round 4 update

A wave of extreme cold passes over Urga and chills him to the bone. Urga turns around and swings his falchion at the skeleton. The weapon snaps some exposed bones off of the skeleton, but it remains standing.

Creature(4) moves. stealth: 1d20 + 6 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 20 = 27

Bandit(6) is affected by the cold from the two adjacent skeletons. damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10 The man shudders visibly, then bolts for the back of the room.

Rikael manages to stop coming any closer to death but will still likely need help.

I'm thinking the skeletons are the greater threat, at this point...

True, but with the fireplace in the way, you have to either go right past bandit(3) in order to get to them or try to attack through Urga with your hammer and that still requires going past bandit(3). I leave it to you though.
