Background:
Sildur was born the second son of a respected warrior in the Linnorm city of Bildt. Sildur soon grew into a strong young man but never felt like he truly belonged amongst his warrior brothers. He was handy enough with a weapon and had no shortage of love for the meadhalls but he was never comfortable with island life. From as early a time as he could remember, Sildur had been drawn to explore. By the age of 12 he knew every nook, cranny and sheltered bay of Aegos Isle and was still unsatisfied. When he came of age, Sildur looked to raiding season with his brother Kael to ease his unrest. However, he soon discovered that spending days at a time in a small longboat with a score of his kin was not an experience he relished.

Shortly following his 17th birthday Sildur left his home in Bildt and set out to see all that the Linnorm Lands had to offer. He let his feet guide him and ranged far, from the Iceworn Hills to great Grungir Forrest, elated with his new freedom. Having no driving purpose Sildur would stop in nearly every town he passed for a night or more of drinking and feasting. For the young ulfen had no dislike of civilization, just a strong knowledge that the settled life was not for him.

As he roamed, Sildur stayed at several druidic shrines and among the company of their keepers he felt a kind of ease and comfort he had never before found. So it was that after near a year of wandering he pledged himself to join their order. Dispite taking years, Sildur's training seemed to pass gloriously fast. The young acolyte found that as his connection to the land grew his dreams were increasingly filled with visions or far away lands and wonders he had never thought possible. When the day came that he was fully accepted into the druidic order, Sildur said goodbye to both his mentors and the land he had been born to, it was no longer big enough for him.

The years that followed have taken Sildur all over the northern kingdoms, Varisia and beyond. He traveles for the pure joy of it, the crest of each hill promising something new to marvel at. He is sure to seek out the other members of his order wherever he finds himself, carries messages where he can and does what he is able to right imbalances where he finds them. The only certainty being that he will remain nowhere for long, always seeking the next rise.

It was during a trip through the Five Kings Mountains of Druma that Sildur came upon the corpse of a mountain bear. The sow had evidently fallen to her death from a cliff face during the harsh storm of the night before. He noted that she had been lactating at the time and his curiosity was peaked. Ascending the mountain to where the bear had fallen he set out in search. Before long he did indeed find a cave nestled in the rocks and came upon a bear cub eagerly awaiting a mother that would never return. Feeling he could not abandon the poor thing, Sildur took the cub into his care, naming it "Dru" for the lands they were in. The cub took to him almost immediately and Sildur soon developed a deep affection for his new traveling companion. While not yet full grown Dru has filled out into a fine young boar with shaggy brown fur and a strong playful streak.

Their many travels have brought Sildur and Dru far south to the town of Heldren while he contemplates crossing the narrow sea to Absalom and then on to exotic Oririon.

Appearance:
Sildur is a tall man of medium build with an easy smile. His shaggy hair is a dark brown, uncommon among ulfen but it has always suited him fine as he has always felt a little out of place among his kinsmen. His clothes are fine cut but simple. His armour of dark polished wooden splints is generally covered by his large cloak. Sildur has retained the heavy fur more from habit than the cold as his travels have taken him further into the warm southern lands.
