Please forgive the newbie question, but how do the boon rolls work?

During convention games (such as gameday VI), everyone has a chance to win boons! This is normally through a dice roll for each participating game. Upon rolling a winning number (this case 19,20), you will win one of four possible boons being offered.
Although, granted that this is your first PFS game ever, you will get a welcome to PFS boon! So do remind me if you don't receive it.
