Paul raises an eyebrow for a moment and thinks to himself. "Do you trust your friends Carth Mirran?"
Paul returns a short time later with friends. Who join you at the table. "Guys this is Barry and Kevin. They know more about the mill, they used to work there. hope they can help while I am busy sorting the bar for tonight." He goes back into the door behind the bar. The other two gentlemen offer their hands to shake to you all as they introduce themselves.
"Of course a man is more than he seams. Do you show every side of yourself to every person you meet? I know I don't. As for who would set fire to the mill, well there are a few people in town the want it gone. the Mayor is one of them. Hmm... Who would actually do it, well they would have to brave enough to go up to the mill in the first place and that narrows it down. Who do you think did it then my fried?' 'Excuse me a mo, Just need to change a barrel." He leaves through a door behind the bar/
"The mill is on fire, is the most recent thing hun. Other than that no one goes there. It is supposed to be bad luck or something."
"Well I try not to pay any attention to gossip but if I can help you I will. What is you need to know young miss? I am glad the girl is ok though. This is a small town and even one death is a big thing here."
"I know the mill was on fire, is the young girl ok? Thankfully you all seem to be." Galacia: He looks very interested in what you are saying. He does not seem nervous but he does seem very surprised by your presence and very keen when he asks about the girl.
"Wow such jokes this early in the morning. Well what do you want to know that the wonderful Mr Graves couldn't tell you?" he asks going to get a a few plates of porridge and sitting down to eat his breakfast with anyone that will have some when he returns.
"Ask away miss. anything to distract from the cleaning. I got a pot of oats on if people need a hearty breakfast. Nasty this orb business, people are getting hurt I hear."
"What can I get you folks? More wine Archaouss?"Paul says, either ignoring or not hearing Krallek's words.
The door swings open. The bar is dark and sparsely lit through the dirty windows. There is no one in the bar but the barman. He is clearing the bar area as you enter and turns to face who ever opened the door. "Welcome, come on in folks." Says the guy Archaouss recognizes as Paul. "It is a little earlier than I expect to have customers but come in and make yourselves comfortable."
those in leggies: Paul wonders around the bar and tidy's as he goes. He slowly moves to one of the couples and refreshes their drinks. not saying much as he goes. He then goes behind the bar and pours another two elven wines and brings them over to Agira and Archaouss. These are on the house.he then leans in cleaning the table and speaks quietly to you both. If you get me some information, I can tell you where the main suspect is hiding. I'm not saying it was him that did it mind you, jus saying i know where you can start.
Elondor: Paul is over at your table refreshing drinks and he chimes in at this point. "Toby Frinkle. Nice enough guy but his ambitions where to big. he made some mistakes that nearly finished the town. In a round about way he is the reason we have to use the orbs in the first place. to long a story to recount but some people do believe he has motivation more than any to take the orbs. When I last saw him he wouldn't have the skills or patience to do it, but nothing to stop him learning those skills I guess, it has been a few years since he was banished." He sighs and has a far off look for a moment then asks if people want another drink.
That's 2 coppers and I'll bring it right over. He smiles at Agira and reply's quietly so only she and Archious would be in ear shot 'Quite some time' ok I suppose you could call 'never' as quiet some time. He touches his nose and smiles and gives a friendly laugh and wink. Then speaks at normal level, "Anything new around here would be fine thing. But as you have been in town for more then 20 seconds you will be knowing about the orbs going missing. Ask around but take it all with a pinch o salt. He walks off to get the drink and returns with a similar portioned drink to Archaouss. He checks his Clock on the wall and shouts "Billy Time to get going, yer missis will beat you to it if your not careful." With that the man asleep at the bar, gets up puts his hat on and walks slowly towards the door, mumbling to himself as he goes. |
