Other Annoncements
There are also some other announcements we'd like to make everyone aware of in preparation for the upcoming holiday season and if you may be part of the affected groups. We write this to inform everyone of two delays: Fearsome Forces cases and Divine Mysteries Special Edition.
For the Fearsome Forces cases, we unfortunately discovered that upon arrival of these miniatures at our warehouse, that we were not sent enough to fulfill subscriptions and all orders. We have shipped as many as we can, however some folks will be receiving an email informing them that their order has be affected by this shortage. We are, at this time, in contact with our distributor to get more of these miniatures as soon as possible. In the meantime, our plan is to send out any other current subscription items separately so that you may have them and they are not delayed further. Once more miniatures arrive at our warehouse, we will send out your Fearsome Forces portion as soon as we can.
As for Divine Mysteries Special Edition, it has sadly been delayed in transit to our warehouse. Because of this delay, the release date for specifically the Special Edition is being moved back three weeks to the following release window. Subscribers of the Special Edition book will experience approximately a three week delay before their copies of this ship. Normally this would also mean that the PDF version that Special Edition subscribers get would also be delayed three weeks. However, we will be granting the PDF to Special Edition subscribers at the same time as the Standard Edition subscribers so that you can experience the content while you wait for your physical copy.
We do apologize for the inconvenience and delay concerning these products. Please reach out to us at customer.service@paizo.com if you want to modify or cancel your order.
With the approach of the busy holiday season we want to remind you that both customer service replies and order shipping can take a little longer than normal because of the high volume. This is normal at this time of year. We do whatever we can to keep response times and shipping times as quick as possible, but delays are inevitable. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move into this busy time of year.
Have a great week!

ooh early order spawning! I'm super excited for Divine Mysteries to round our War of the Immortals for campaign building.
Also I'm not affected, but i wanted to say the decision not to delay PDFs for special edition folks is great, and its good to see a company taking care of their customers even when things outside of their control happen.

Well.... they made my auth, and lets just say it is enormous....
Looks like they put the delayed Fearsome Forces brick and Armies of the Dead on the same order but Fearsome Forces is still listed as back ordered. Will see how this one goes.

Still watching my auth on the back end saying waiting for back ordered items. Looks like the case/bricks for Armies of the Dead are also flagged as unavailable.
I am guessing they will break up the other items this month like they did last month.

Oh no! i am also 'waiting on back ordered items' from my sidecart this month. How did that work last month? Did i screw myself out of my subscriptions?
also why would something that is on backorder move from the sidecart into the subscription order in the first place? Isn't the whole point of the sidecart to prevent that from happening?

Welp. my subscriptions are now locked behind a backorder that isn't expected until mid december. Take this as a warning about using the sidecart, I don't think I will trust using it in the future, saving a couple bucks on combined shipping isn't worth losing out on a month of on time subscription material.

You can email CS and they will move the side carted item so the rest will ship.

Yeah, this is why I almost put items in my sidecart. I've had my subs locked down as well.

I did last week. No response so far, which isn't surprising, CS is pretty backed up and they warned about that up there in the OP.

Any word on how/when this is going to work?

Folks are definitely getting their PDFs for the standard edition, will SE subscribers get their copies when all the standard editions are shipped (if that hasn't happened yet)?

I've also emailed customer support to ask them to take a look at my order between the back ordered fearsome forces and what looks like the shifted armies of the dead minis.
Just waiting patiently, but wanted to speak up so those of us in the same situation know that you aren't alone.

I have had very good answer times by using the ticket portal instead of emails. I dunno how it changes stuff, or if it was just that my own problems were very easy to fix, but yeah.
Using this link (also at the bottom of every pages, labeled as "Customer Service"), and clicking on "[+] New support ticket" right below the search bar at the top. (But if you already sent emails, I wouldn't double dip, mostly pointing this out for future needs.)

Usually, when they do stuff like this, they unlock the PDFs around street date. So next week, on the 20th or 21st in this case? But they have not confirmed any date for it.

While that is the worst interpretation of the written text, it does seem to be accurate, as still no digital copy issued. Guess I'll wait until I could have purchased a cheap copy instead of a premium one.
