With the Remaster, are Demon / Devils still a thing?

I have a question regarding lore of the 'bad planes' and devils and demons vis-a-vis the remaster.

Do demons and devils (as chaotic evil and lawful evil) fiends still exist?

Like, I know alignment is gone, I'm talking conceptually, not game-mechanics.

Do devils still like plans, contracts, and they can't lie (even if they can twist your words into pretzels).

Do demons still relish unconstrained, random chaotic death and destruction?

Are they called something else, do they do something else? Are the lower planes changed up entirely?

Because that devil/Devil thing is very much a DnD staple, so, I'm just wondering if they kept that concept or changed it up.

I suppose we will only know for certain when Monster Core comes out.

But while demons and devils are a staple of D&D, that isn't where they originate from. I personally expect that they will remain - and remain mostly unchanged.

Yes, demons and devils are still in the game (several of each are in the Monster Core) and they still exhibit the same behaviors and proclivities they always have.

Yes, Demons, Devils, and Daemons must exist because the remastered nephilim has feats for nephilim descended/corrupted by them, and the descriptions of these creatures in the related feats and post-remaster discussions of the cosmology are unchanged. The abyss got renamed to the Outer Rifts, though.

The GM Core section on designing creatures still has them, just with a few tweaks. For example:

GM Core p. 126 wrote:

Demon

Traits fiend, unholy
Languages Chthonian, telepathy (usually 100 feet)
HP typically high to account for their multiple weaknesses
Weaknesses cold iron
Sin Vulnerability Demons each represent a specific sin, like
envy or wrath, and have a special vulnerability based on
the sin they represent. This should be something the PCs
can exploit through their actions, which should then deal
mental damage to the demon. The amount of damage
should be based on how easy the vulnerability is to exploit.
Divine Innate Spells usually 5th-rank translocate and at-will
4th-rank translocate
Rituals usually demonic pact (Monster Core)
Sin Ability Demons also have a special ability based on the sin
they represent, which either makes them better embody the
sin or instills that sin in others.

(The "multiple weaknesses" also refers to devils also having the fiend type, which brings weakness to holy.)

So yeah, the general theme of demons and devils (and daemons) is still there.

I didn't see roadmaps for oni, divs, rakshasas, asuras and sahkils there. I think sahkils are pure Paizo invention though, so I don't those were cut for cultural reasons. More likely that they're being saved up for monster core 2.

Thanks for the info!
