Even though I know thier are conversions of these Modules I am converting some hackmaster versions of these classics Little Keep on the Borderlands, Quasqueton, Temple of Elemental Evil and Maybe Scourge of the Slavers or Against the Gaints into maybe Curse of the Spider Queen should we get that far as I know some are a slog. Or you may need to retire before hand.
Would start at 1st level at the Keep.and work our way through the adventures. Itll have tongue in cheek humor, old school stakes and feel and some interesting god choices!

I know I would limit races to the Core Book,
Using a more Gritter play style reminescent of 1e
Probably have roll 3d6 keep what you roll.

So, really Old School feel? Awesome.
Yeah 1 short rest per day, Long rests require 8 uninteruppted hours of rest
Even gonna make Orcs more Pig like
Looking into Critical Hit based Flaws and possible Leathality

Arranging stats as each player wants, or rolled in order?
Im cool with arranging
Might give everyone a starting feat. Balance the suck
Very interested! Bit of a 5e noob, but been looking exactly for this kind (grittier 5e) of game, so it sounds perfect.
How soon are you thinking to put out an actual recruitment for this?

Probably by the weekend. Once I work out a few different ideas on rules
I feel this needs an elf rogue or really, the halfling rogue. OR thief.

Looking forward to rolling up stats in any case, just to see the possibilities for character submissions. :D
Yes Hackmaster is a slog to get to 5th level
Thread is looking good :)
Very inexperienced with 5e... what's Hackmaster?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HackMaster
Hackmaster is 1e/2e rules set that is a hard mode parody of DnD made around the time of 3rd edition DnD.
Hackmaster has one of the coolest Initiative systems I've seen. Requires some heavy bookkeeping unfortunately.
True but I do love it. If it played better online I would run it.
I am also thinking about Quirks and Flaws to grant A extra feat or one of the unique boons and possible bonuses to your stats.
As well as using honor.
So we could have fun characters.
Working on notes for the campaign start, but I do believe I am gonna have you all come to Frandor's keep for a Wedding.
Seriously looking forward to this.
Applying, at the very least. :D

**Peeks in, looking for Recruitment thread*** Nope, not yet.
I've never played Hackmaster, but I've read about tons of adventures set there in the Knights of the Dinner Table comics.
Would love to be a part of this.
Should post some guidelines tomorrow.
With some slight alterations of Temple, Slaverd and a few others thrown in
