A boon to give an ability score boost on a new character like the Instructor or Pass the Torch boons from Starfinder Society. Either of them have different mechanisms for ability score increasing, I think either or both would work well on the PFS side of things as well. Maybe the Pass the Torch type boon could be "any faction at Revered" to restrict it to highest level Pathfinders, while the Instructor type boon could be an Envoy's Alliance boon at Liked or Admired and need 100 days of downtime to fully unlock.

Some ideas:
A boon that allows you to use a Hero Point once a session to increase the success level of a roll (e.g. failure to success, or success to critical success) rather than giving you a reroll. (I'd love to see this as a standard option for the Remaster!)
Or a boon that for one Hero Point reroll per session, you keep rerolling until you roll higher than your original roll.
Or an idea suggested by our GM: "I'm a Hero Dammit" - a boon that allows you to add your character level to a Hero Point reroll.
(Can you sense a theme here? I refer to Hero Points as Failure Confirmation Rolls as the reroll option never lives up to the 'Hero' part of the Hero Point name.)

Or how about a boon that lets you take the better of your two rolls, like Starfinder allows with its rerolls?
Though this may be Remaster territory. Frankly I think this should have been the rule all along, but I recognize this may be out of scope for this boon conversation. The most frustrating thing in the game is rolling worse on a Hero Point.

I would love to see the return of your so-called Vanity Boons.
I recognize they are a long shot because they require some developer work, but in PFS1 I loved having the ability to join the Ruby Prince's Undying Guard, or being able to buy a minor noble title in Taldor or to have my own pirate ship or a theater in Absalom. Really helped to pull together some character concepts.

I'd like a replay boon that works for sanctioned Adventures, rather than only scenario-length options like the current boon. I feel GM styles, party approach, etc are more likely to make Adventures feel more significantly different than scenarios on a replay, and while I'm generally unlikely to replay either format, I would be much more likely to want to replay (or re-GM for a chronicle if that ever gets worked out) an Adventure than a Scenario.
I'd expect the cost to be at least 3x the Scenario cost (ie scaling by relative XP), wouldn't be surprised if there's a slight surcharge on top of it. However it shouldn't have a scaling cost (since that would make a full AP nearly impossible).

In less far fetched requests (one day Demolitionist archetype, one day), I would really like to see the return of Vanity Boons like we had in PF1. They were one of my favorite things in the original OrgPlay system and I used them to great effect to add customization and depth to my characters backstories and personalities.

Alex, this is resubmitted for consideration, for a topic previously discussed in your Paizo Discord channel (in case you have a change of heart on the matter).
I would like to see an ACP boon that would allow for replay boon purchases across systems. Member X is sitting on 350 PF2 ACP but for varying reasons now only plays Starfinder and has exhausted all of the high tier content and a limited pool of replays. Member X remembers that they have Pathfinder ACP that they no longer use, but under this suggestion would now be able to purchase a replay for Starfinder using that pool of PF2 ACP.

I would like more ‘lazy downtime’ boons. No roll needed, just check a box and make progress towards something.
Examples of these sort of boons that we already have would include River Kingdoms Excavation (from playtest), Off-Hours study and Practiced Medic. I have a disproportionate number of characters that are liked by Grand Lodge just for the Off Hours study.
An example of a new one that I think could be cool is making connections. Spend downtime to make or renew connections to a named area such as a large city. Any class abilities or feats that require you to have established a connection to an area would work with this and otherwise allow a small circumstance bonus to checks involving the area.

I'll echo a few of the prior comments in that I'd like to see more boons tying back to the campaign. For example, I'd love to see:
Background - Dacilane Academy graduate. These are often the children of Pathfinders. Perhaps even a legacy link to a prior character.
Downtime Boon - Dacilane Academy volunteer. We've seen hints to this in scenarios. Something fun to do with your downtime. Perhaps with checkboxes to earn a minor reward. Or just a way to earn Income differently.
Downtime Boon - Lodge Builder. We've set up new lodges in a handful of scenarios. (Razmir, Qadira, etc) Someone needs to help build these new lodges. Again, maybe a downtime boon with checkboxes. Might be able to do different ones for each lodge.

And likewise,
Ravien999 wrote:Dragon Disciple Access. There's nowhere near enough access to the charity boons and they're not unique enough to really merit NOT being ACP boons.Dragon Disciple is already accessible if you meet the access conditions:
Access You are a kobold with the dragonscaled or spellscaled heritage, a dragon instinct barbarian, or a draconic bloodline sorcerer.
It's not limited and thus doesn't need a boon to be accessed: The charity boon just adds another option to gain access to it, for those characters that aren't kobolds or dragon barbs/sorcerers.
I am aware. As I'm an old 3.5 convert, I've got a love for various arcane spontaneous casters that *aren't* sorcerers becoming Dragon Disciples. Especially bards.

If might add/build upon the Volunteer idea..
Dacilane Academy Faculty-A vanity boon letting you use a skill/lore to "teach" part time at the academy as a downtime activity, including blank space for what class your PC adds to the curriculum. A fun bit of roleplay to share at the table when discussing downtime.

Icejay in another thread requested a boon to provide access to the Rope Trick spell.
Which scenario gives you access [to Rope Trick]? It would be a very helpful spell to learn.

A Future-Proofed Ancestral Adoption Boon
I would like to see Ancestral Adoption II Boon that is both sustainable for the Developers (requiring no curation) and future-proofed. Instead of listing individual feats, let us provide guidelines for what sorts of feats may or may not be included in the adoption.
(I note that Adopted Ancestry feat from the Core Rulebook does not list all the types of feats included or excluded in the common ancestries, but provides general guidelines for what is and isn't allowed.)
Ancestral Adoption II allows you to be adopted by any uncommon ancestry currently allowed in Organized Play. If it is a freely available ancestry that players may play without a boon, pay 20 ACP. If it is an Ancestry that requires a boon, pay 40 ACP. This will provide your player access to Ancestry Feats that can be acquired through a shared culture and training.
It will always include:
It will never include:
Am I missing anything here?

Access to the Jalmeri Heavenseeker dedication would be awesome.
So I've been begging for this one for years and I'd love this!
My question here though is can we maybe open up a way to communicate some of these boons opening up? I get why you don't want people farming for boons that have 'power implications' (e.g., PFS1e one that gave you an extra feat), but for ones that are just giving access to an uncommon archetype like this I'd love a blog post or a pin in the forum or similar. Many of us have waited a long time for some of these things to become boons and it would sort of suck to miss out on something for a year or more because you simply didn't hear about it.

Boons for Uncommon Backgrounds
I would love to see boons for some of the Uncommon Character Backgrounds:
^ I'm not even sure why these two are uncommon. They don't offer anything beyond what a normal background offers, and they're not disruptive to Society Play. They both lead naturally into a life of adventure.
Instead of a Skill Feat and a regular skill, it trains you in four elemental plane lores, which seems fairly balanced to me. Also the Concordance has a Society tie-in from Pathfinder 1st Edition. This seems like a natural for this season.
This one also doesn't offer anything beyond what a normal background offers, and would be a terrific tie-in to the coming season.

A request for more rare backgrounds, as posted by Dragoness31 in another thread:
I have a new character I am working on and I would like to use the Magical Experiment background for her. I know it's rare however. Is there something special I need to do to be able to use that background, it plays into the backstory I have in mind for her.

Here's a boon idea that might have legs:
Say I want to make an elf fighter from Kyonin that uses an elven curve blade. Unfortunately, to get access to that weapon in PFS, I have to take a feat. There's no reason for my fighter to take the feat, other than PFS access to a couple of elf weapons. A bit silly.
So how about an AcP boon for access to a single uncommon ancestral weapon of the character's ancestry? For the same AcP cost as say, an Avid Collector boon.

Where can the curated list for the avid collectors be found ?
Q
In the Pathfinder Society FAQ. I linked to the CRB list, but there are other expandable sections there for other books.

Can we get a boon granting access to the Russian language? After playing a certain scenario set someplace cold, my linguist PC would very much like to add her new friends' native language to her repertoire.
(If a way to do this already exists, please enlighten me!)
This weekend, my hag bloodline sorceress completed her SECOND scenario that gives access to the Baba Yaga witch patron theme. I'm convinced that Little Grandmother is trying to tell her something, but I can't figure out what, because she's saying it in Russian...

Could we maybe get a more expensive boon that, unlike the current boons that just allow you to change your class levels, also permits you to change your background, ancestry, and heritage?
The setting occasionally deals with time travel, so I guess a lot of magic could justify a lot of changes like turning a demon into a god.

With the change over to remaster, I would like a set of inexpensive boons that recreates the training past characters got from dedicating themselves to Spells, Scrolls, Swords or being a generalist. A lore that replaces the free Pathfinder Society Lore and at 5th level a feat. The boons should be mutually exclusive — which might mean it is all piled into one boon.
It should also count as meeting the prerequisites for Scrollmaster Dedication, Spellmaster Dedication, or Swordmaster dedication depending on the choice.

Could you please add text to the Practiced Medic boon from the Radiant Oath faction to include Battle Medicine?
For example like this:
"...you can expend the boon as a free action before attempting a Medicine check to Administer First Aid, Battle Medicine, Treat Disease, Treat Poison, or Treat Wounds."
The Remaster added text that Battle Medicine is explicitly not Treat Wounds. This removed the table variation from the boon and made it no longer apply to Battle Medicine on any tables. It would be nice to have it buffed to work with Battle Medicine to make Radiant Oath PCs better battlefiend healers. Thank you!

I’d like to see an avid collector boon for the GM core. Especially to give access to the staff of the unblinking eye that replaced the staff of divination.
I’d also like to see a boon to be able to create a personal staff.
Warpriests of Nethys thank you!
Nevermind, looks like all Pathfinders have access to the staff of the unblinking eye without a boon.
A personal staff boon would still be nice, so as to define the guardrails in PFS for such staves.
