Goblin with a dog slicer & a big boom gun. Just lean into the who chaotic goblin aesthetic.
i dunno... I kinda feel like the "chaotic goblin" meme oughta be a Spoon Gun + Filcher's Fork ['cause it's also cutlery]. Tie a serving platter to his wrist and call it a buckler. Name him "Shiv Kebab!"
... though, now that I think about it... add Munitions Crafter and bombs... Big Boom Gun and a good stabby weapon gives you "Shiv Kaboom!!"
Hmmm... wonder if I can talk the wife into twinsies for a campaign...
Also. Hobgoblin with Remorseless Lash, Agonizing Rebuke, Double-Barrel or Dueling Pistol + Scorpion Whip. His name is "Dom".

I was going to go with dual dueling pistols both attached with bayonets, for as much flexibility as I could give myself in working with two weapons and the Drifter stuff. Obscenely expensive, since the bayonets are separate weapons for the purposes of runes, but it seemed promising.
Then the character's mom had a class change to a Drifter, so I switched to Pistolero focusing on a slide pistol (reflavored as a revolver) with a repeating hand crossbow on the side for flexibility, because humans are privileged and can just do that. :b It's not really that different in setup, though. Even still has the bayonets, just in case — they're cheap to have on if they aren't a focus.

Rapier pistol (flavored as a wakizashi pistol) and a katana on a drifter dual weapon warrior archetype gunslinger. Probably name him Mugen so I know what kind of demeanor I'm shooting for.
I've been wondering about dual weapon warrior for drifters. Is double slice worth it with dual thrower or is it best to wait to get rebounding assault at 10th level?

Still really expensive, but you can use doubling runes for the bayonets and blazons for the pistols. That way you only need to rune out two weapons.
Honestly kind of think this might be the best way to do a dual pistol build. You can use the drifter's reload feature and paired shots on a single build, which is pretty sweet.

Stab and Blast at 8th makes Melee + Gun Double Slice almost obsolete. S&B doesn't combine damage for overcoming resistances.

It is a great feat. I might prefer split shot though for drifter.

I was looking for bayonets on archives of method but couldn't find them. are they. a mod in G+G?
It's actually listed as its own weapon because it can be used attached or unattached: here it is

Huh, I could have sworn they were simple weapons in the book

Coolio! Do they benefit from the runes on a gun if it's attached or do they need their own separate runes?

I just realized that I am wrong. S&B is specifically the same weapon gun + bayonet or reinforced stock, or fire lance. It does not work with paired weapons a la Double Slice...

It's still comparable with double slice though, just not explicitly for dual wielding. Still not a bad idea for a drifter in melee. Probably won't do as much damage as double slice but it's more efficient. Vanguards definitely benefit the most from stab and blast though.

They need their own runes. Combination weapons get around this, though
