Snail is kind of slug, but shell at its back.

And then I thought Weresnail.

Needs:
Battle form for snail in insect form
Optional moving strike: Shell wheel

Weaknesses are silver for lycanthropy and salt for being a snail.

I like the idea of a form of lycanthropy that ends up making someone very unthreatening.

Or at least apparently unthreatening... are they defeated by the dread raised platform?

How does it spread the curse if they don't have teeth?

Weresnail slime spreads weresnail curse. "Oh no, you've been slimed. He's going to become a weresnail. We must flee at the pace of a slow walk."

Lots and lots of teeth actually. Like over 10,000. It's like a throat full of teeth.

It's called a radula! And anecdotally I'm familiar with at least ONE instance of a snail scratching a person with said radula!

I made the mistake of googling pics of radula.

*sobs* I shan't ever sleep again.

Thanks. Now I want to have a Weresnail follow the party for eternity; and if they ever get caught, they die.

Weresnail sounds like a horror story villain leshys tell their children about on camping trips.
