I allocated a nice big shelf to Pathfinder 2e rule books and adventure paths, and it's now full. You can stop publishing new stuff now, Paizo.

Um, I don't understand this concept.
My mother-in-law and her sisters demonstrably suffer under the mistaken belief that "She who dies with the most unused sewing fabric, wins." However, it's clearly gaming books, not sewing fabric, that is the determiner.
Light the candle, say the words, open the new shelf to its sacred duty. Let the collection continue.

No, they're right. I haven't even got a bookshelf dedicated to RPG books yet. Let's hold off on new publications until my girlfriend and I get a new place, sound good? We'll meet back up here in a few months.

Actually, new idea. Maybe Paizo should only print bad books for a while. That way, I have time to get a new bookshelf, and they get to stay active.

Nah. They should focus on errata. Then you could put the old books in the attic when you get the new ones.

Unfortunately, due to poor home organization, I accidentally trapped them in the cellar. Shouldn't have put a bookshelf there. That one's on me.

I do still have a sizeable generous vast collection of PF1. And Starfinder. And some 3/4/5e. And Planet Mercenary, Maid RPG etc...
No, I will not free up shelf space.

When I retired six years ago due to health problems, my wife and I moved in with our best friends, who had unexpectedly retired, too. My wife set up our gaming bookcases as a U-shaped niche in a corner of the living room. Our friends' dog Dallas, a very shy white spaniel who almost always hid in their bedroom, saw the space formed by the shelves and laid down there. She felt safe there and we were glad for her company. We dubbed the niche her Fortress of Solitude.
Gaming shelves are magic.

It's kinda breakneck pace and I'm very quickly reaching the point where I dont want to bother to buy books, two more come out before I've read the previous one, and havent even gotten my head around half of the classes...
Edit. I'm really already there. I know PF2 had massive content gap with PF1. However, it should be looked at perhaps vs Dnd5 instead. Setting aside concerns for what this publishing speed means for the people writing them, Unsure what it'll do for the health of the game. I understand that selling books makes the company survive, and Paizo has done very well to make enough content fast to have great variety in games.
Then again, I am liking the Lost Omens setting books. I am buying those more often than the class/crunchy ones, perhaps because I feel they bring something new, whilst any class books feels like a revisit of Ultimate series or ofther PF1 books.

Paizo's ultimate goal has finally been laid bare, and it's too late to stop. Soon we will all be entombed in rulebooks, the entire globe buried beneath the tide of paper, an everlasting monument offered up to the gods of ttrpgs.
The mass of books ultimately is to break with sheer weight the prison of the Terrasque!

LoL. I long ago surpassed a "shelf." Between game books, novels, FlipMaps, and nicknacks I couldn't even devote a single bookcase to Paizo. I think I have a sickness and the only cure is more Pathfinder. :-)
I've had to start giving away old APs that I know I'll never run. I put them in the little public bookshelves in people's front yards. Hopefully they find a good home. I never see them the next day...
I would never do this. Even if you don't run them, they've got great articles in them. It's like an issue of Dragon and Dungeon magazines together in one issue.

Counted about 30 feet of RPG shelf space. This was after disposing of at least 10 feet. Need to buy Moar!
