Apparently they have released a couple of albums since then, but I don't think they've come close to that first one.

You might not want to come close to me until I find my pants.

Oh you mean this isn't one of those parties?

It could be. But you might not like what happens.

Cloths are back on.

As are the clothes.

Oh look at me! I sew my cloths together instead of just draping myself with them. Aren't I special?

I think you would of had to see the full picture of this avatar for that one to make sense.

Oh I remember that song... Vaguely... one hit wonders eh. Maybe just one hit wonder bands are jerks. They only have the one song and they are tired of playing it!

My son's band opened a show for Sister Hazel earlier in the summer. They were complete piss heads and didn't pay the band anything at all. Not even a free beer apiece.

Hmm one hit wonder band from Florida. man does that not surprise me. (no offense anyone from Florida) Green jelly performed at a club a friend of mine who was basically running the place said they basically took all the money that was suppose to be divided out for the club to run things etc instead of their share and complained about how little they got out of it.

Doom metal, more or less.

There are quite a few bands that are retro clones of the Black Sabbath sound right now. Some are really good.

Have you ever heard Mac Sabbath?

Mac Sabbath is hilarious.

Hi, everyone!

Hey John!
You're up late... or probably really early.

Hey, John!

It's Monday. I'm really early because they gave this shift to the one guard here that doesn't drive. Me. I have to wake up at 2 AM and leave the house at 3, so that I can catch the first bus out of Mt. Oliver. So that I might then spend 45 minutes walking from the bus stop to the garage. F@++ this job.

That for sure sounds like a "F@~! this job" Kind of job.

It is. One of my fellow guards has told me that he wants to quit, on multiple occasions.

Have you considered unionizing?

That sucks John :(

Hey Woran I was meaning to ask if you have ever listened to Otep after checking out some of the bands you mentioned I thought they might be one you would like.

The garage is too small, with only three guards, for a union.

Oh yeah it's hard to have a union of three. They could just fire the lot and replace. :P

Well for my job I am currently still waiting on my replacement who has been bare minimum 15 minutes later every day for the last month so :(

I haven't, but I'll take a look.

There's also Black Sabb+*$~, an all-female Sabs cover band, and Brown Sabbath, who are all (or mostly?) Latino.

If you keep arriving cumulatively later for long enough, eventually you start arriving early?

So in gaming news, my group has told me (or at least my GM and the other players agreed) I've been house ruled; No full casters. Apparently my predilection for planar travel unnerves them. Even though I never went to a) any of the Lower Planes and b) I only went to ONE elemental Plane...and it wasn't even the wet one!

Man you guys were on fire today. Many good chuckles. I don't know how limey managed to get a double post with two others between it however.

No full casters? I'd be upset. Are all you guys relativity new to the game? I guess full caster can be hard for a low level DM.

There was a first shifter who was always at least 15 minutes late, every day, for 3 years. What did they do him? They promoted him. Now he's the "Front Desk Supervisor", usually works second shift, and is still at least 15 minutes late every day.

Out of curiosity, why are they upset? Are you disrupting the game by bamfing off to the celestial realm constantly? In which case, you should probably stop that. Or are they mad because you use plane shifting to overcome obstacles? In which case, they could just ban plane shifting spells.

Yeah that sounds about right.
I swear even Walmart had a policy where if you were late all the time you lost your job. Corporate America does not respect their workers.

My industrial organizational psychologist would say: You get promoted to your highest level of incompetency. if your a manager you were really good at your last job you would of moved up, But your stuck in your current job because you were good at your last one but the current one is totally different so your not good enough to move up then your at your highest level on incompetency.

Maybe he was taking over the game by forming an army of celestials?

Which would be disruptive, and a behavior he should stop.

I know that several managers have been very angry about his constant tardiness, yet for some reason none of them actually did anything about it. Or at least, nothing they tried worked.

From what I hear (not like I ever see these people) my current manager is afraid of conflict and will hide in her office to avoid it.

Pretty. Especially the waterfall. I guess it is the minerals in the stone that give it that cool golden look.

Yeah it's the excess Fe3+ ions in the water that gives everything in there the gold sheen. There are no fish in the water and we were speculating that it's too toxic for life in there.

I went to the beach in shorts and sandals expecting soft white sand and I got rocks lol. But that's unusual in a way because all the rocks have been ground smooth. Not the sort of thing you see everyday.
