So im that individual who has countless dice sets, i have a small wooden chest half way full as well as two sets of metal dice i keep seperate, and my freinds say i have a problem and i disagree. I understand i dont need them but at the same time i do. They look awesome and it makes me happy damn it. Its not like im spending money i dont need to or anything like that. I dont see a problem with it, does anybody else?

I have 5 dice sets made from semiprecious stones: 7 die fantasy sets in opal, hematite, and tiger eye; and d10 sets in snowflake obsidian and jade.
I went for quality over quantity.
I would kill for ypur set where did you get those id love a link. I saw a 24 karot gold set that was entricatly designed defiantely a show peice looked way to fragile to use, for roughly $100 and id love to get my hands on a set but i dont have a hundred bucks lying around and so many people would skin me alive for spending that much on dice

I think if you have lots of dice, love them and they make you happy then cool. I don't, my dice are just functional.
Yes, playing Pathfinder, or any RPG, is a leisure pursuit or hobby and will cost some money for no tangible end. And I suspect for most of us it is a fairly cheap leisure pursuit. If you compare how much total your group has spent on the game and the hours they spent playing it, I suspect it is much cheaper than going to the movies or a nightclub.
If you really want an example of doing something you don't have to that costs a lot of money, try having children. And the planet is already over-populated.

That's a lot of dice. I only have 2 sets myself, plus two single d10s.
I also have a large d20 I made myself out of plastic canvas and yarn. Once I get a little better at stitching the numbers on, I plan to sell them. I was thinking of making entire sets, but the d12 is a pentagram shape which does not do well on a square-grid canvas. The others are all triangle based so I can use triangle-grid canvas for them. And of course the good old d6 is a cube which is super easy.
