A stripped-down more screen-reader friendly version of the Pathfinder Playtest Rulebook is now available for download on the Playtest page. In addition, a black and white version of the character sheet has been added to the Character Sheet download and to the bundled download.

Tried following the link. Says the page isn't available or doesn't exist. In fact, the playtest page download isn't working for me.

Holy cow. That "reader friendly" version is with ALL formatting stripped out. The columns on tables don't even line up on it.

I'm not an expert on screen-readers, but...

does that matter?

Folks,

There seems to be a bit of a miscommunication going on internally here.

This version of the document is specifically for people who need to use a "Text to Speech" reader, typically because they are visually impaired in some way.

To enable that to work cleanly we stripped art, formatting, symbols, and rarity colors.

Sorry for the confusion. We will get this cleaned up asap.

Thanks a lot for providing this, even if I only Need the B/W character sheet. It is also much easier to distribute due to the smaller size and text searches are way quicker.

And I finally can search for everything with on, two or three Actions ;)

I am glad to hear this is helping some folks out. We realized pretty late that our current PDFs would not work very well for Screen Readers so this is not our optimal solution. For those of you who do use it, please post feedback on any problems you might be having so that we can work to ensure the final version of the game is as accessible as possible.

I've Purchased both the PDF and Hardcover of Pathfinder 2nd edition, only to find out my blind GM is completely unable to read it. Is there an updated copy for blind folks?

Thanks!
