So to contract the other thread, what Starfinder features do you want to see carried over in Pathfinder Second Edition.

* Bulk: Much faster than adding a lot of fractional weights together, then triple-checking a table for your carrying capacity.

* Trick Attack: Works so much better than sneak attack in practice.

* 4 skill point/level minimum: 2 skill points per level was never enough.

* Strong will saves on Soldiers/Fighters: Do I need to explain why?

The Exchange

bulk for sure

Personally i like the stat generation system it has.

4+int skill minimum.

FIX. TOUCH. AC.

Bulk system.

Stat generation system (especially the: you can drop below ten but you don't get any more points for it)

Ability score increase as you level up

HP/SP

Resolve system

Quick builds for monsters so I don't have to build them from the freaking ground every time.

Pretty much all of these.

Race HP + Class HP at first level for sturdier first level characters.

Being able to make advanced and magical items just by having good enough ratings in the appropriate skills, without needing feats for it.

Guarded Step as a defined move action instead of the nebulous weird exception-laden crap that was the 5-Foot Step.

Themes as a concept, even if they could be better / stronger.

While the implementation of Resolve is all over the place in actual practice in Starfinder, I really like the base concept of a shared "pool" of points used to power limited-use class abilities in general. I'd be happy to see something like Resolve get used to power everything from metamagic feats to rage to bardsong to etc. Just DO NOT use it for stabilizing when dying, that was trash.

Like Rysky suggested: skittermanders

Dark Archive

I don't think the skill points per level is a thing any more.

I'm holding a baby typing one handed so forgive me not going into detail, but the stuff so far looks like all skills are basically class level + stat mod + [-1, 0, +1] depending on proficiency.

But we need minimum 4 skill proficiencies definitely assuming a similar number of skills.

Yah, 2+1 skill for my cleric is really hurting. I didn't even have knowledge: religion at level 1~

Um, is there something wrong with touch AC? Is it too high, low?

(I know my touch AC is kinda low..)

Touch AC will probably be very different in PF2 - they're doing a lot of changes to attack rolls, so it may not even be necessary mechanically speaking.

I really like Stamina. Particularly as a PC only thing. It artificially lets players survive more like main characters should. Less reliance on healing be but losing meat points is still a danger. Without it looks eat it by the dozens making heroes feel badass.

Minimum 4+int skills too.

Weapons that do fistfuls of dice

Spaceships... That's it though... Maybe robots...

I can't really think of anything from the RULES I want to keep.

Touch AC tends to stagnate around 10 or even lower for large, high-CR monsters. This interacts poorly with spells and worse with gunslingers.

In Starfinder, touch AC is replaced by EAC, and armor provides some bonuses to EAC.
