Hello everyone, just wanted to check in here and see where everyone stands. We officially start tomorrow. As stated before, this will be a rigorous PbP with ambitious posting expectations. Of course we all have RL stuff to attend to, but this PbP is based on the assumption that for the next three weeks, you will be an above average poster.
This scenario is broken down roughly into three parts, with the first part being started and completed tomorrow. The second part is further divided into sub parts. We have two days per sub-part. The third part we a little longer and then its over.
Today is the day to ask yourself if you will be able to keep up with these posting expectations. If you don't think you can, please send me a PM in the next few hours, we have people that are on a waitlist that would jump at a chance to play.
Agreeing to these posting expectations also means you agree to having yourself NPC'd if the need arises. Please do not rely on this as a cushion, it will lessen the satisfaction you get from the game as well as impinging on the enjoyment of your teammates.
No one has spoken up in the last two hours, so I am going to assume that Mrachni is your team-leader, Pharasma help you all! ;)
Now that's out of the way, I'm excited and I hope you are too. This is an awesome opportunity that Feral put together and it is the first Special of this kind via PbP format! That's cool! We're blazing a trail here and setting a precedent!
In the end, this is all about having fun doing something we all like, so let's do that. Let's all have fun and go kill some demons!

I'm excited, too!
I check the forums roughly every 10 minutes, with a few-hour break for dinner in the evening and a longer break for sleep later in the evening. Hopefully we can get some "flurries of posts" going on during this thing so that we can all participate and feel like we're providing meaningful contributions.
I try to make my posts both enjoyable to read as well as "reactable"; ideally, there'll be something in every post intended to help seed or provoke some kind of response from my co-players (and/or the DM). If anyone has feedback on how I could do either of those better, let me know!

No worries. If you haven't checked in a while, you'll most likely get a PM "bump" from me. I have been disassociated from threads before, it happens.
A side note: Once we get underway, I hope to see a bare minimum three posts/day. Preferably more if we're in combat. (If your going to be away, posting probable future actions would be nice)
Looks like we're all within the same two or three timezones, so I'm assuming there will be a fair number of posts in the AM, then a few throughout the day, with the most being in the evening. If you've had radio silence for 8+ hours, your a candidate to NPC's, fair enough?
Myself, I check the boards all day from my mobile, but can only manipulate maps when I'm at home, so there will be times that I myself will hold up the game until I can get home, it happens.
Today is supposed to be for introductions and info gathering. We are well on our way. Go ahead and continue to RP.

I would blame a total slacking across all my campaigns but I can control myself so I'll take the blame for being behind.

You don't necessarily need to follow the main thread. I need to in order to relay the relevant information to you, but of course you can. There is the chance that something could be a spoiler, but you never know.

So, we don't have to stay in this district if you guys want to move on or you can stay here, your choice. Obviously, the more successes, the safer the zone, but then again, the A-team might need to help the other slackers. We have all day tomorrow as well for this phase as well.
