Seven pumpkins growing in the garden now.

Tomato harvest is exploding, marinara sauce is sure to follow.

Tomatoes and pumpkins belong to ME!

But wouldn't you rather have the milkweed we propagated especially for monarch butterflies.

Monarch butterflies are also doing quite well this year by the way, which is a good thing. :-)

Nah, that's vegetation, someone-else's department entirely.

I need to tweak my race of Bovine for Starfinder.

I also need to tweak some Bestiary monsters for Starfinder to see how it shakes out.

I'm surprised at how many people are complaining about the lack of opponents for Starfinder.

So easy!

Basically add 25% hit points, normal AC is kinetic AC, subtract one for energy AC, only crits on a 20, replace unneeded feats as necessary, give it a +3 or +4 to hit as needed on account of no full attacks.

Looks at tracking info, notices Starfinder package was accepted at central post office in town, tries not to do a premature Martin Short happy dance.

Must not rest until books and pawns are in hand.

You've never gone cow tipping, it's a Midwestern rite of passage.

3 people marked this as a favorite.

You don't do that in the South West of England.

The cows tip back.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I grew up on a farm, and I'm here to tell you cows don't tip over. They just get annoyed and either walk off or turn on you.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Yes, but town kids will believe anything! :-)

2 people marked this as a favorite.

That's the danged truth. I had some city cousin's come visit once and they wanted to walk barefoot in the pastures all the time. After the 4th or 5th time of stepping in cow poop and thorns they learned why we wore work boots all the time.

I didn't get my Starfinder today, which means tomorrow I guess. :-)

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Well, poop. Hopefully it'll be there tomorrow!

In Starfinder the Whispering Way changed their name to Song Of Silence.

Thus confirming my conspiracy theory that the Whispering Tyrant is in fact Art Garfunkle.

Sure do wish I could talk about [redacted].

I think my wife is getting tired of my daily update to As the [redacted] turns.

It doesn't help that I'm waiting for Starfinder and pay day at the end of the week as we're pretty broke (but have food).

How much does one tip a cow? I'm never sure if it's 15 or 20%...

5 people marked this as a favorite.

25% if it's really good milk.

I read about this yesterday. Pretty cool. A sister taxon to the dinosaurs, the silesaurs, had some pretty interesting critters in it, too.

There are megachurches to Sarenrae on the sun.

Is that why Solarions suck (they don't).

And what does that mean for Envoys.

It turns out telling people fixated on the math of Starfinder classes that there's more to life than math without having any math to back yourself up and using math terms like variables and such is a lot of fun.

Really, I blame them for being dismissive, rude, and boring about it all.

QFT. You can "prove" anything with math

- but it's only as "objective" as the model of reality it assumes. People who do that are really missing the point of the game.

No, no you can't.

I think that's talking about something a bit different than what I meant. You're talking about the limitations of math done right - I'm talking about people who say "I did a bit of math to support my foregone conclusion, therefore that alone proves I'm right and everybody who disagrees with my conclusion is wrong and stoopid - OBJECTIVELY!"

Tiny T-Rex: What's a dissection?

Pea Bear: It's when you poke out the insides and have a look around.
