I know the game is still relatively new, but are there any lurkworthy Starfinder games?

I'm really enjoying reading GM Jimbles' Dead Suns

There's been some turnover, and we're currently only at four heads, whereas the campaign started with six. If you're interested, it wouldn't be a bad idea!

If you lost two, wouldn't this put you at eight heads?

Well, I guess they were fired instead of lost.

Did I mention how strange of a hydra it is? :D

“Fired,” get it? Fire damage? Ugh, not even a groan or an eye roll response...

I think this is just a clear case of "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." When it comes to cringe worthy jokes, I am in no position to be casting stones.

I'm going to put in a plug for Luke's Crimson Throne Campaign.

I'm a player in it and it's one of the best run campaigns I've seen. Luke has been putting quite a bit extra into it, leaning into the horror elements. My party mates have all been doing great stuff with their characters and it's a real privilege to be playing with them. We're currently transitioning from Book 1 to Book 2.

Thanks for pointing this one out. I have enjoyed reading it. Great job of interplay with the characters and the DM.

So, any suggestion gor pbp game that already have a proper ending (instead being currently played or being abandoned)?

The Exchange

Uh, this post is old and will be updating soon....

These are the only two complete Paizo APs that I know that has been completed via PbP that I know of:

#1:This bad ass run as Pirates.

#2:GM Evilan's Curse of the Crimson Throne. There is a reason why GM Evilan is so mentioned in the original post.

#3: That Council of Thieves AP is long over and done.

#4: And we finished, after 15000 posts and 5 years, we've put Shackled City to bed as well.

#5: GM Euan did it again, taking us through Second Darkness. The AP required a bit of editing/changes (so Evilan tells me), but we got through it, saving the world from the starfalling machinations of the Drow.

GM Euan again showed that he's just best...consistently posting and pushing us through light and dark. Good job.

I would recommend two of BloodWolven's latest campaigns.

Arcanium ~ A New World: an Isekai game where several modern-day people die and are whisked away by a goddess to save the fantasy world of Arcanium. Sword and Sorcery mixed with meta humor and a compelling narrative.

Campaign of Awesomeness!!: A high-powered campaign with compelling character interaction where the stakes are at the highest. There's a reason your mother always told you to never have a one-night stand with a half-fiend giantess!

We have a number of PFS scenarios completed, although I imagine the wrap ups on them aren't quite what you'd look for.

I DM'd a complete campaign from level 1 thru level 17. Started 30 January 2013 and the last post was 24 August 2018, so 5.5 years.

HERE is the link to the campaign.

Of the final five characters, three of them were there for all of it. Misha, Josef, and Rikar.

Actually I managed to run two modules to completion as some of my first GMing ever with two really great players. Sadly the third campaign I ran off of it as a coda homebrew kind of thing had to be abandoned as one of the most important players stopped posting (really hope she's doing okay). In any case if anyone wants to read through a run of Hollow's Last Hope and Crown of the Kobold King and give advice on how to improve it would be much appreciated!

Hollow's Last Hope
Crown of the Kobold King

And give The Father of Waters Homebrew a look. I am super lucky to be part of it and it's an astoundingly well thought out South American homebrew. Just wonderful world building with an amazing GM and players far better than I. It uses Spheres of Power and the alternate action economy to great effect too so it's just great all around.

An ongoing game that I can't take credit for but my players sure can:
Monsters save the world. Some really funny stuff. All the craziness you'd expect from good RPers playing a bunch of monsters. Definitely gets a little creepy and graphic at times, though.

I remember that recruitment! I was disappointed I couldn't get my brain-eating horror concept finished in time. Glad to hear that it's a great campaign!

Yes that is a bummer.

Currently, there was quite a mix-up regarding "Necropolis" and "Necro-police", the latter being a concept quite scary to certain demographics of the party.

Updating this list with a few more completed APs that I am aware of:

#1:This bad ass run as Pirates.

#2:GM Evilan's Curse of the Crimson Throne. There is a reason why GM Evilan is so mentioned in the original post.

#3: That Council of Thieves AP is long over and done.

#4: And we finished, after 15000 posts and 5 years, we've put Shackled City to bed as well.

#5: GM Euan did it again, taking us through Second Darkness. GM Euan again showed that he's just best...consistently posting and pushing us through light and dark. Good job.

#6: GM Motteditor’s Reign of Winter. Amazing run with the same 5 players/characters from start to finish.

#7: GM Sloth/Are/Lareg/RatSass‘s Legacy of Fire. 7 years and 4 *FOUR* GMs, but it’s done.

#8: GM Euan’s Mummy’s Mask. #3 completed AP for GM Euan. He’s pretty ridiculous.

You can add BrainiacDM's Ironfang Invasion, Here . I wasn't part of it, just a lurker who got caught up in reading it ...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Also GM Brainiac's War for the Crown which Itzi posted on the previous page. It was tied up in just over two years. He has two other AP's deep in book 5 right now as well, the man's a machine!

And a damn good GM! :)

I have also completed a campaign for the Shadow of the Demon Lord system. Please enjoy reading Tales of the Demon Lord.

Being as amazing as he is, Brainiac has tied up the two campaigns that were deep in book 5 the last time I posted. You can find them below.

Brainiac's Tyrant's Grasp

and

Brainiac's Return of the Runelords

For a super long runner, I recommend Kiora's Wrath of the Righteous, which I have enjoyed for some time.

That's a good one.
