Hello! You are wise and smart to be starting this day off on the right foot by visiting a thread from me, forum superstar Kobold Cleaver. And have you done something with your strange mammal hair? Whether you have or not, it looks good, and nothing like the hair of less attractive mammals, like horses and moose (two of the most famously hideous beasts in the entire mammalian family)!
Post here to receive a precious, one-of-a-kind compliment from me. Just remember: I do not compliment bad posters. You aren't a bad poster, are you? Well, only one way to find out!
Please do not ask for more than one compliment per week. Do not be greedy! Many sad children in poverty-stricken subforums (like the subforum for Books, and the war-torn subforum for Advice) would love to receive just one KC Compliment in their entire sad lives. What luck that I am handing them out for free!
Note: This is a den of positivity and kindness. Tea is not allowed on the thread. Please leave your tea and other performance-altering substances at the door. Thanks!

Rysky is super adorable, and has great taste in game books as well as a sense of humor that I totally get! Rysky is also the source of the wise paraphrased adage, "The squee wants to be free." Basically Rysky is super cool guys.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Commas are great! I still sometimes have trouble in the foggier areas of when to use them, but they're just really handy. Also, this comma is using great emoticons. Great use of emoticons! You're making the world a cuter place, comma!
Comma is also a master of stealth, as they have over a thousand posts and I have never. Seen. Them. Before. I thought I knew everybody on these forums! This is crazy! Looks like they mostly do PbPs, which is cool. Great use of these forums!
I feel like I've seen Sunny before, actually. Did she ever make an appearance in a Second Darkness PbP that fizzled where she pretended to be a guy? Or maybe an Eberron game? It rings a very loud bell for me! Maybe it's just the avatar. If I do recognize her, though, it indicates that she was a good and memorable character who stuck with me for years after! And if not, eh, whatever, it gave me a nice nostalgia trip.
You have something against moose?
AUGH IT'S HIDEOUS GET IT OUT GET IT OUT

That's a really adorable anecdote, and you're using a manner of speaking that I bet adds a lot of flavor to the character! I don't that was me—I've never been in a Kingmaker game—but that kobold sounds like a lucky feller indeed!
My first compliment was a bit general, so have a proper one on the house.

Indeed. I had expected something like Take a Penny Compliment, Leave a Penny Compliment, not this.
Listen, strange kobolds lyin' in threads distributin' compliments is no basis for a system of civil messageboard esteem. Supreme social popularity derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical koboldic ceremony.

Busybusybusybusy.
This is new.
Lucky7 has made some great contributions to the Pantheon Generator, and has done a lot to keep it going and keep it interesting. I love your work on it! And it's a great thread to keep active, so great job doing so!

Ambrosia Slaad is very cool and open-minded, like all slaadi, and I think she makes great contributions to the Gamer Talk and Off-Topic Discussions subforums in particular with her witty and likable banter. And she has not once tried to trick me into eating slaad eggs! Not once! Maybe once.
Oh, this should be good.
Buri has a neat avatar and username! I think they're the only person I've ever seen who uses that avatar, and it suits them. But in serious compliments, Buri is a fearsome sass demon who is really good at presenting their points in clear and cogent text. Stay cogent! Be like Buri, but reborn! What's the context of that name, anyways? Who knows? Buri is an enigma!
I have new respect for Kobolds. The ones we encountered in the last game in which I was a player were little monsters.
Yikes, what to say about DMC? He's a guy who knows his stuff. I love reading his posts about his games, 'cause he's chock-full of neat ideas and neat anecdotes. They're always a huge treat.
Basically, DMC is everything someone with "DungeonMaster" in their name should be. Unless they're on a BDSM forum. That's a different bag.
He needs to buy more dice, though! Always more!
Hey there, kobold superstar.
Get my game on
and goplay
I would love to play in a game with Sissyl sometime. They are right about lots of things and they frequent great threads—and make those threads better. Snappy, funny, and super creative (I love their reskinned petitioner, and I adore the way they re-genred CotCT into a romantic AP), Sissyl is one of the coolest OTDers I know.
Waffle House! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Why hello there Mr. Waffle House Patron, and aren't you looking—
*Notices lucky7's demon lord tail poking out from trench coat*
HEY WAIT A SECOND
Y'AREN'T GETTIN' SECOND COMPLIMENTS OUT OF ME YOU SNEAKY SIR
Sneaky kobolds...
*Leaps out of bushes behind zylphryx as slasher violins play, brandishing compliments wildly*
Holy cow. So I knew zylphryx was cool—he does some great thoughtful postings on these here boards—but I was checking his profile and he has made so much cool stuff! That gunslinger PrC! He's done layout work on Wayfinder—you know, the fanzine that looks so professional, people see it as the best prize in the whole PaizoCon goodie bag. Guy writes stories and did the layout and production stuff on something called Ultimate Relationships that I think I need to pick up, and putting all this aside, like I said, dude does good posts. His avatar is basically iconic. Keep posting, Zylphryx!
I thought this thread title was "Receive a Precocious Compliment from a Beautiful Kobold"...
There is no precociousness needed to think of compliments for Liz Courts, the Gninja 6 so feared, I'm pretty sure Paizo hired her specifically to distract her from adventuring so she'd never reach higher levels—because who knows what a Gninja 20 like Lilith could accomplish?
Look, we're talking about a forum poster whose posts were so cool, Paizo hired them to manage the community. Okay, that's a simplification, but she does so much to keep this community awesome and creative, from cookies to work on the aforementioned Wayfinder, and I feel like we sometimes take for granted just how much she's done for these forums, before and after she was officially brought on the Paizo crew. Just look at her profile! Look at all the stuff! I didn't even know we had a Deviantart page!

May I have a compliment, please? I feel like I could use one right about now...
You ask James Jacobs some great questions—the sorts that I enjoyed reading the answers to, and I don't generally read that thread at all.
Also, I was just scanning through your older posts, and this caught my eye:
136. A crazy barbarian is determined to prove to the world that he is "DUNGEONPROOOOOF! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" by smashing through any walls and doors he comes across, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
I think I'm going to steal this BBEG for a story I'm working on. The main character, an adventurer, will be trying to go through a dungeon, and then he'll just bust through the wall like the Kool-Aid Man, send her flying, and start f~$*ing up all her meticulous work. Your post made me laugh, so into my Stealing Bag it goes. :)
Also, Zoisa the Magnificent seems like the sort of PC I'd like to be in a party with. I hope she finds Haleen.
I'll start with one of my own.
You're still as damn good of a GM as before, KC. :)
Okay, stop it, complimenting the kobold is strictly banned here.
Carina has given me a ton of material to work with in our Age of Worms game, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her continue to develop. I think that of the six PCs, Carina has probably given me the most to tinker with, in fact. I'm glad you're in my game, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in Savage Tides.
You got nothing on me Kobold.
You have a really neat avatar I've never seen before. What a sad bard! I want to play her in a campaign, or write her in a story.
IDTheftVictim is also quite right—wayangs do not get nearly enough love. I actually like the way they discussed their favorite races, too—talking less about the specific races and more about the dynamics they encourage. It's a good way to think about races.
I'm impressed KC; I honestly have no idea how you intend to get this thread locked while staying on point
I intend to compliment Cosmo.
Trekkie just made a clever joke, and was a hard-working Dedicated Voter for RPG Superstar—I'm sure they upvoted my item lots of times, naturally. They also put an excellent amount of thought into the question, "How do we kill Pun-Pun?", which, frankly, is the question that should be on everyone's mind at all times. They came up with some good points, too! Doing the gods' work, friend. But not Pun-Pun's.

Thanks KC! If you are serious about being inspired by the avatar I found the full picture here.

I am not going to ask for a compliment, but will instead give one. KC is an awesome part of this community, and starts threads that contribute to making these forums the fun place that they are. He also puts up with my shenanigans with grace (including cyber bullying from his fake mom).
We love you, KC!
