that is cost.

a +1 chain shirt is 1000gp at market
a +2 chain shirt is 2000gp at market

a +1 longsword is 2000gp at market
a +2 longsword is 4000gp at market


Not to get bogged down, as we might be saying the same thing, but a +1 armor costs 500 gp to make, but is sold to adventurer (price) at 1,000 gp. For a +2 set, base cost is 2,000 gp and base price is 4,000 gp.

Is that right?

don't know about crafting costs, but market prices are right.

quick rule, an armour upgrade is half the price (and cost i think) of a same value as a weapon upgrade.

+1 armour =1000
+1 Weapon =2000
Difference = 1000 = armour = 1/2 weapon.

DM rules for starting at this point +2 enhanced stuff
a +2 mithral chainshirt = 3000gp (OK)
a +3 armour at 4000gp (NO).
you could get a +2 weapon at 4000gp (OK)


Now I'm really confused... In the PRD, a +2 magic weapon's base price is 8,000 gp. It only costs 4,000 gp if you craft it yourself.

Are those house rules? And if so, just let me know where they are.

whoops, that change from 3.5 -> pathfinder got me

+2 weapon is 8000gp
+2 armour is 4000gp

What you can buy
+1 Weapon
+1 Armour
+1 Armour with +1 armour ability
+2 Armour
Wonderous items and potions (can not be over 3000gp)

Actually, I have the limit set to +1 items currently, pretty sure I mentioned that at one point. Perhaps it was with the Mai character. You'll need to make some rolls to locate more powerful items, +1 items are common enough to be purchased rather easily.

Just choose one of the above stat sets I laid out about as a starting point.
all have either a 14 or 15 in it.


As a tank dwarven cleric, you could go:

Str: 14
Dex: 10
Con: 14+2
Int: 10
Wis: 15+2+1
Chr: 13-2

If you want to channel selectively though, you're going to have to pay for the Chr 13:

Str: 14
Dex: 10
Con: 13+2+1
Int: 10
Wis: 14+2
Chr: 15-2

OR

Str: 14
Dex: 10
Con: 10+2
Int: 10
Wis: 16+2
Chr: 14-2+1

68 pt-buy... that's like Cayden himself!

Marra has been updated as well...FINALLY she gets Dazzling Display...with a +15 intimidate...I also realized "I" made a mistake...removed Weapon Focus (war razor) cuz, duh, inquisitors don't get martial weapons...she does however get longsword prof because of Iomedae being her god...no one's perfect...So expect lots of shaken opponents...
