So those of us left behind, what do we do?

We could do a quick evaluation of where we are in the game, how we like our characters and anything we might want to change, then we could recruit for a replacement DM.

I think this group should have plenty of charisma, and alot to offer to attract a DM.

I feel like we could all offer the new DM first crack (dibs) as a replacement player in any of our PBP games would certainly be too sweet of a deal to pass up.

Supply and demand at work.

Plus I could actually see who all is running what.
So we could sumarize the title of the game, when it started and where it is now, even games that sucessfully concluded.

That way the prospective DM could see exactly who we are and what we have to offer.

Oh, didn't realize there was a request for input.

If we find a replacement, I'd rather there not be a temp in the interim, as it just means GM hopping and can lead to more confusion.

Does anyone know if shields are useable underwater? I've looked through my Pathfinder and 3.5 sourcebooks, but even the online pdf doesn't provide a ruling.

I don't see why not - they would essentially work the same way as above-ground (that is, only giving you protection from attacks to your front, not from behind or above). I'm going to rule that it's ok, and that you're strong enough to swim with it without having to worry about it slowing you down.

I don't want to leave you entirely defenceless :)

Is it safe to assume my metal armor cuases me no issues? I have mithril chain shirt (weighs less than leather, has no armor check penalty, and has a +6 max dex).

Donagar's plan is to go in like a stone and if he has to cast fly and engage in battle that way.

Unfortunately I only have one casting prepared, but hide behind the stone clad dwarf, might be a worthwhile strategy for everyone else.
