Thank you for that link, Slaad of divine nectar.
You're welcome, but I am actually Slaad Lord of Disgusting Potlucks, Nascent Botulism, and Accursed Coconut.

I stand alone in my love for the traditional ambrosia salad. My mom used to make it for holidays and I'd eat it like it was the air I needed to survive. I would even slather it on slices of turkey. Yes. I'm that guy.

Okay well next time I know to not have you bring anything for a potluck...
But thanks!
Also, rainy, rainy, rainy Monday.

RIP Sunny. You were such a good boy and a good friend to me, my wife, her BF, and all the dogs. You will be missed. I love you my little face licker. May you be in a better place, Biscuit # 3. Biscuits # 1, 2, and 4 will miss you. I know I will.
Sunny died at around 7:30 am on Monday, 9-24-2018. The vet tried their best to save him.
Edit - Sunny was a 20 pound tanish dachshund mix who was around 4 or 5 years old.

On the plus side, We Are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis Taylor has been a very fun book so far. I am looking forward to reading the other two books in the series.

Tuesday. I’m feeling very rested today. Taking care of the issue that had loomed over my peace of mind for these past few months finally has cleared up my subconscious anxiety nicely. It’s amazing how just facing an ugly situation and dealing with it can be so cathartic.
Life is a learning process
Ah yes, That it is,
Happy to hear that you are emerging from the other side of your cathartic cocoon a happy(er) butterfly-Monkey! :)

This year for my birthday I’m going for a parade of drinks down my gullet. I think I’m buying myself a trip to Seattle for my birthday as well, to hang with the folks who go. Since my birthday is conveniently the week prior to Memorial Day Weekend.
I’m not sure but I might actually try and go out a few days earlier just to knock around Washington State a bit. PaizoCon is great, but I’d like to see more of Seattle and the surrounding area

Ah, I see,...
I Google, therefore I know,... ;P
Very dark humor leavened with inanity and drunkenness. Some of the tightest writing on a cartoon show I’ve ever seen, since probably early South Park or Simpsons. Rick and Morty can give it a run as well. Great stuff
I’m already done with the season and I’m trying to figure out this other Netflix show Maniac. Super trippy and convoluted. It like if Twin Peaks and Inception got drunk and had a kid together.

See, that sounds like something I might have to actually binge. ;P
Thanks for the notice! :)DungeonmasterCal |

It's not quite a migraine, I think. Just a terrible headache. I do get migraines but they're pretty infrequent nowadays (thank goodness). I used to have them so bad I'd be blind for part of the duration. I don't take anything especially for them, though.

If you want to cool down I recommend Ravenna park in the U district, it has this big ravine that you can walk on the bottom of and it's ten degrees cooler then everywhere else because of all the foliage, and it's where everyone Larps. :-)
The UW arboretum is spectacular, especially in the spring, it has a magnolia tree that was gifted to them by Japan a hundred some years ago, the blooms are as big as your head, it's amazing!
The Fremont Troll underneath the Aurora Ave bridge, I'm sure if you google it you'll find the street.
There's a few more (Seattle is packed with parks) but I'll have to look at a map as it's been 13 years since we left (we moved back to Wisconsin so my mom could spend time with her only grand daughter before she went blind, but good news she had a cornea transplant and had 20 more years of vision).

Top tier cast too. Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, and they put a lot of people in it I had to go IMDB to remember who they were (remember the secretary who rhymed all the time in Moonlighting?)
