Brother and sister adventures, family came from the faywild to trade but were killed by bandit/piraite and kids taken captive, kids escape and rely on each other to survive, long term goal of returning to the faywild to look for any suviving relatives.
Somthing like that.
Magda is basically done - just need to clean up her character profile and scribble her background.
Short version: Magda is an itinerant historian/chronicler of dwarven history and genealogy, based out of the small northern trade town of N'jast. She feels like Berronar has touched her soul for a reason; to seek out new, bright heroes who forge new sagas and help rekindle the ancient glories of the dwarfholds by spreading their tales.
Once PHB2 comes out, Magda will likely take a multiclass feat to nab some bardic abilities as well, to reflect her change from dry historian to inspiring tale-teller.
This is the first chance I have had to play 4e, so I may be a bit sketchy on rules & mechanics, please feel free to correct any mistakes or point out goofs! ;P

Okay well Keir originally came to Impiltur as a mercenary, he joined Torm's faith in the hopes of finding help so his people can immigrate to Impiltur however he has a long journey ahead of him and now with word of a call for heroes he has stepped forward and prays he can amend things so he can save his tribe and help his new homeland in their time of crisis.

Would everyone place your magic item wish lists here. It should be one level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Enchanted scale armour, enchanted long spear, enchanted long sword, maybe a cloak of resistance and perhaps a ranged weapon maybe even a short bow not necessarily enchanted just something to shoot at range, didn't give them levels since I'm really not fussy on that score.
However if forced in order of preference;
1) Short Bow perhaps or maybe even a Long Bow at +1?
2) Cloak of Resistance +1
3) Long Sword +1 Frost weapon?
4) Scale Armour +1, Black Iron?
5) Long Spear +1, Lightning weapon?
That sound about right to you?
