I'm not sure everyone is a native speaker, at that, and there are bound to be some idiosyncrasies that don't translate 100 percent (I know FW has sent me to Urban Dictionary with some Brit slang, and my Midwest American ain't exactly Queen's English.)
Luckily, with my character being a drunk, I can blame any confusion on good role-playing ;)
I'm also from the midwest but I've got a roommate from Plymouth who speaks 3 languages so I'm familiar will all sorts.
I come from a small castle town twenty miles from Plymouth. That is Plymouth, Devon.
As for languages and grammar and all that, I'm no expert just a DM. Anything that causes confusion, doesn't do much good so I'll change it and move on.
XP - I'll put a group total at the beginning of the Campaign Info which everyone can keep an eye on.
Derrens
5 CR 1/3 warriors = 250
2 CR 1/2 warriors = 200
total = 450
everyone gets 90 xp so far.
Cheers

Sorry about all the bold speaking. I'll remember eventually.
XP - from the crucifix ambush.
5 orcs killed = 1000
5 PCs plus 3 NPCs = 8 so everyone gets 125xp.
That gives a total of 215xp which wouldn't normally be enough to level up. However the tabletop games I have run have shown me just how fragile level 1 is compared to level 2. The fun truly begins when you aren't knackered by a javelin or two. That is why I am asking you to level up now.
As for hit points, you get a roll and then if you want a re-roll but you have to take the second one then.
Okay? Any questions let me know.

I'm having internet issues and this should be the first time it takes. Just reread the recruitment thread and its max hit points at each level.
Aerik's dice already knew this! I'd like to contribute more but this is your time unless you decide to nudge an NPC.
Cheers
P.S. wife away for her brother's fortieth so I am wrangling both kids for four days. How are the rest of you guys doing?

Great..let's RP a little, and then push this thing forward.
I am currently fighting a losing battle with a virus. Apoolgies for holding things up, I'll post when I can.
Suggestion, I am wondering if we should try to recruit a couple more players to increase the opportunities for rp and the like. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't mind one or two, especially if we can get an arcane character into the mix. I feel like we're a little on the... simple and straightforward side at the moment.
Feel better!

Makes no difference to me. I think we are fine eithyer way. Get well soon, FW!
So the diagnosis is "I am run down." Burnt out may be more accurate. Extra work in the christmas run-up, house husband, gaming and trying to help my wife with her degree is too much. The advice is to cut back on gaming, and I haven't really got a leg to stand on.
Therefore I will be cutting back heavily on my Paizo games until the New Year at the very least. My DMing has to the first thing to go unfortunately. Sorry chaps but I hope you will understand this isn't a lightly taken decision, I have mulled over it all week.
Thank you for what time and effort you have put in so far.
Cheers

Feeling any better, FW? Are we planning on moving forward?
Timing is not good Vic. Real life swamping me but I still have the thread up and so I haven't given up just yet.

FW: How are you feeling? Are we calling this one dead, or do you have plans to revive it?
I appreciate the support Filios. Thanks. Life is definitely on the up and up so once the holiday season is over I will probably run again. However I'll be honest I was disappointed with the level of posting and lack of genuine commitment towards this game. It never really got off the ground properly.
Therefore I am wondering if running a pathfinder game wouldn't be better? There would be a larger pool of players to choose from, for instance. However maps and the like are too time consuming for a technophobe such as me. Bit torn.
I'm running a fourth level game of fifth ed over xmas. That will hoepfully fire my enthusiasm to restart things.
Cheers and merry christmas

I'd be ready to continue as well. Had a couple of rough posting weeks between sickness, internet issues, and Paizo Website issues, but was really starting to feel a place for Sadarr.
Thanks scranford. I hope you have a good christmas and that seals the deal. I will definitely work on this after the new year when life returns to normalcy and my workload reduces dramatically.
My Christmas dming stint finishes on Monday. I'll be looking at finding a way to restart this after that possibly with a reduced roster for now.

Sadarr still lurks as well.
Hi guys,
So real life has beaten me on this one. My workplace has been hit by losing two very experienced staff and the rest of us are trying to pick up the slack.
So rebuilding this game is a bridge too far. It takes considerable time and effort as you know. So lets call it day.
Thank you for hanging in there guys and good luck with your other games.
Cheers
