Since the new AP was announced today when will they announce the second hardcover of next year? Also when we will get more info about the Giantslayer AP?

...and, of course, the Veiled Master at the heart of it all.

Would also love to see some details on other Hellknight Orders, maybe even some who are actually just actually carrying out the last orders of King Gaspodar and awaiting a proper heir to throne of Cheliax to arrive so that they can surrender what was lost at Korradath.

The ultimate dream would be for some love of evil in the AP with recommendations on how to run this for a black-hat party (even if not supporting Thrune, as apparently there is no legal requirement that the crown go to the heir of Abrogail I.)

Dude.

A PC Red Mantis Assassin or some other such "masked assassin/rebel" type.

At that masquerade ball.

In full assassin attire.

Walking right up to the target. Right in plain sight.

This has to happen.

Also until we hear more about it I'd consider it a Cheliax AP rather than a Devil one.

Also also define "soon" since we have:

Wrath of the Righteous

Mummy's Mask

Iron Gods

Giantslayer

Then

Hell's Rebels

That's 3 APs/2 years Inbetween, and it's been even longer than that since we had a Cheliax AP.

A new advanced class - barbarian and monk parent classes, designed specifically to end martial-caster disparity, involves suppressing rage, and channels caster-envy into thirty-foot wide cone bursts.

I think it was a misprint, but I'm being silent out of charity.

the halfing iconic for aaaaAAAAHHHH isn't that good...

Council of Thieves was always a stronger AP than it was made out to be. The title of the AP was the worst thing about it, as it engendered an expectation in players that the AP itself did not deliver on. Shadows over Westcrown might have been a better title.

This seems more in keeping with a true sequel to the real plot of Council of Thieves. And in the sense that #100 is a sequel to the beginning of the Pathfinderized portion of Pathfinder AP, I'm good with that.

I do wish that it was more to do with Molthune, but I see this as more of a northern independence movement that if successful, will have no real impact upon Cheliax itself. La plus ca change... I get the necessity, but, doesn't mean I have to like that aspect of it.

I always call it "Children of Westcrown." Its thematic and your players will think its (only) about their rebel alliance/neighborhood watch.

If I had an AP that focused on a group of outsiders, I would pic Proteans. If they have to be evil though I would like an Oni one, and no, I don't count the dragon empire (heck, I don't count is as a full Asian AP) one as a full up Oni themed AP.

Actually, I just had a thought: What if the people in some part of Cheliax succeed in throwing off the yoke of Hell, only to find that now they have fallen under the rule of Abaddon? Certainly not without precedent in our own world . . . .

I just hope it's more feminine friendly than the last Cheliax AP.

It would be very nice if it were, and they included all sorts of GOOD romance options for ladies...as well as more gentlemanly gentlemen, and other such things.

And now that we have the Brawler I can play an old fashioned twirled mustached fisticuffs boxer who can hand that unscrupulous Barbazu gent his hindquarters.

This AP is probably going to include a massive sidebar about how a paladin fighting against a dictatorial regime is not unlawful and how GMs shouldn't make them fall. Failing that, the players' guide will advise against playing paladins altogether.

CITIES OF CHELIAX PLEASE! Can we get a 64-pager which detailes Kintargo (obviously), Egorian (obviously), Khari (because I'm super interested in how Cheliax toehold in Garund looks like) and for bloody sakes WESTCROWN because the fact that you have an AP about a city with no sourcebook on that city still kills me?

Also... issue 100 will be in an adventure set in chelliax... you know that question paizo staff always refuse to answer up front in 'Secrets of Golarion' panels? Let the rampant speculation begin! I call he's alive and imprisoned by asmodeus in order to gain a foothold on the mortal world.

That would be... horribly disappointing.

Golarion is not the Forgotten Realms with a divine soap opera driving the setting, and the whole premise of the setting is that the Big Human God died, Prophecies stopped coming true, and now mortal heroes need to step up and take on the challenges of the new state of the world.

Aroden is dead, and who did or did not do it is frankly speaking not that important other than as a mystery - and if it's revealed who did it it's no longer a mystery.

(Also, I'm pretty sure they're not just refusing to answer it, they've flat out stated they're never going to tell.

Player's Companion: Revolutionaries - an in-depth look on how to play insurrectionists, saboteurs, guerilla fighters, and dissidents. Featuring examples of some of the more noticeable such groups in Golarion (obviously tying in with the ones in Kintargo, but also one or more Galtan factions, Nidalese Desnans, and anti-colonialist Sargavan natives as well as, obviously again, members of Milani's church). Preferably with a bit more focus on the kind of activities you'd be doing to try and topple the government without ending up on a gibbet than just a bunch of archetypes, feats, and spells.

I'd be totally down with the following supplemental material:

CS Line:

Cheliax book
Cities of Cheliax
Devils Revisited

PC line:

Rebels of Golarion
People of the Sky (Strix, Tengu)

Depending on the details of the AP, of course, a map of the layers of hell (like the abyss map from WotR) in the map folio would be fun.

Dark Archive

Hoping for a new devils book like the demon one we got for the worldwoun Ap so 10 or so chapters of iconics getting owned.

I'm very enthusiastic about this AP, thank you so much for coming back to Cheliax! I'm also very keen on an urban AP... and the return of Mr.Pett!

It also opens interesting perspectives for PFS fans, since the August AP is traditionally linked to the theme of that AP (well, it has been from seasons 3 to 6 anyway).

Tengu can't fly, but Syrinx would be nice to have in the same book as the Strix.

So it appears that we are going back to where it all started with issue 100. Not where Paizo adventure paths started but where Pathfinder adventure paths started.

From what I've gathered on my forums sojourn, James Jacobs is not a huge fan of devils. That is to say, he doesn't hate them, but rather likes to see when they get knocked down a peg. I predict some major Asmodean hurting for his worshippers in Cheliax?

And oh, what of our precious Hell Knights?

I would imagine that Wes Schneider, who is the devil guru at Paizo, would be pretty heavily involved in the AP

I wonder if we will get a new Archdevil in each volume, like Wrath did with Demon Lords?

Lem poured more drinks for the three ladies at the table, while he hummed a spell to muffle the conversation to outside interference. While the spellcasters rested for the night, Merisiel, Seelah and Amiri stayed awake drawing plans for the next day.
"Are you crazy?" Asked Merisiel, "Overthrow house Thrune? What you're plotting will be bloody and get a lot of people killed."
"I know, but if not now then when?" Seelah replied, "The longer we wait the deeper Thrune digs into the hearts of the people. I have a duty to my goddess and the people and this opportunity will bring the greatest good."
"When this all turns to shit I'm going to remind you what the road to hell is paved with Paladin."
Amiri stood up and stabbed her sword into the table.
"By the time we're done the road to hell is going to be paved with the bones of that Thrice Damned House of Thrune."

Possible predictions/wishful thinking:

1) Abrogail is listed in the Inner Sea World Guide and Inner Sea Magic as as an aristocrat 2/sorcerer 16. If she's intended as the "real final boss" of the AP, she'll be upgraded to a L20 sorcerer with PC gear and a couple artifacts, putting her on par with Elvanna and Karzoug at CR 20. Bloodline is up for grabs, since Infernal is the obvious choice (and perfectly useful), but something like Destined (which is very defense focused) would be interesting.

2) If Abrogail's left as an aristocrat 2/sorcerer 16, then that shifts "real final boss" status to her CR 20 Pit Fiend "adviser," Gorthoklek.

3) It'd be interesting if it was possible to have a diplomatic victory against Abrogail, getting her to yield the throne and step aside. Though getting rid of that pit fiend might be a pre-req!

4) Dark horse "real final boss" candidate - Alichino the Jester Prince, Golarion's malebranche, might actually be pretty cross if Hell's biggest foothold on Golarion changes allegiance. He might be saved for the "Continuing the Campaign" section.

5) Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Schnieder may be co-developing this AP. I'd certainly expect Mr. Schnieder to have an active presence in the AP.

6) Even though this AP wouldn't go mythic, getting archduke write-ups and statblocks (particularly for Dispater, Belial, and Mephistopheles, though Dispater's "god" article already happened in Kobold) would be fantastic.

That needs to be a thing. Some street in the Iron City that's actually paved with still-living paladins.

For the consequences of failure are dire.

What I find amusing is that the pit fiend advisor is there to limit Abrogail's evil...

She could be a mythic sorcerer...

Not angry but a little disappoint. Paizo I am sure does a good job covering the interests of its costumer base. But I was really hoping for something different its more typical fantasy adventure path. I feel that there is still so much of the world left that has not been covered without revisiting similar themes.

especially if Wes Schneider is heavily involved, that dude can f#*&ing write!
also is Wes doing an adventure for this, considering how well 7 days to the grave is received and how awesome his book of the damned entry is, it would be a damn shame if he didn't crank out a chapter:)
