Please Update your kickstarter reward...

Pathfinder Online

Goblin Squad Member

Apologies if this is asked elsewhere but I am having a devil of a time finding it.

I received the latest email update (thank you) with a message about updating your kickstater reward.

Now, step 1 - go to Paizo.com - I did.

Step 2 - access my account - so far so good.

Step 3 - Click the manage my pledge in the kickstarter section.

Now this is where it goes awry. There is no "Kickstarter" section but I do have "My Pledge Drives" section.

There is a button here called "View or Claim Kickstarter Pledges"

So I click that think that is what is meant by "Manage My Pledge" in the mail.

I get my list of pledges and click Details next to the Pathfinder Online one.

This takes me to a page showing lots of add ons and a list of fulfilled pdf's etc and expected deliveries of the items not yet sent.

No Manage button.

So, basically - what is it the email is asking me to do? I have received loads of pdfs already and as far as I can tell my Pathfinder online pledge is managed and acknowledged already?

Is it a case that the instructions don't marry up to the sections and buttons anymore?

Many thanks in advance

Anthony.

p.s. posting this here as I suspect I may not be the only confused and befuddled individual ;)

Are there no Add/Remove buttons next to the addons?

The pledgetool was closed closed somewhere in June 2013, so that you could not change your pledge level anymore. However, if you have never added addons then this functionality should still be available to you.

Also, what is that you would like to manage? You should be able to see 5 tabs at the top of that page. The first tells you what pledge-level you have, the second is about the addons, the 3rd about Buddies and Guildmembers, the 4th about your shipping adress and the 5th about Payment.

I also am confused by the email.

If you got everything that came with your pledge level, and neither want nor paid for any add-ons, then that should be correct.

Goblin Squad Member

i managed mine a long time ago, but figured i would double check.

There are 5 "steps", across the top, and steps 2 and 4, the addons and address sections show red, indicating their must be something i have not completed.

However, the addons i have selected balance to my total pledge, but there is nothing that seems to affect the overall status of that section.

My address shows up correctly but then says my status is "no address chosen". i cannot seem to affect this section either.

It all looks good, but i am confused why some numbers are red and implying i have something left to complete.

Please keep telling us if you see things like that address issue. I'll make sure the tech team hears about these problems.

I got an email today that I needed to log in to check my pledge. I followed the directions to where I get a screen asking for my "claim code".

I have not seen any emails with a "claim code".

How do I get one?

Thank you for your assistance,

I'm confused with my pledge. I do see both Kickstarters listed, and both showed as being completed (believe I went through one or both a while back).

How do I add the PF Battles minis - I see message "You must be Goblin Squad Member in order to purchase". I'm pledged as a Crowdforger Pioneer - does that include the above? Or did I do the pledge options wrong (if so, can it be unlocked on my Paizo account so it can be fixed)?

Edit: I see after posting that I do have "Goblin Squad Member" after my name FWIW.

Neither I nor my wife have received codes to redeem on Paizo. What did we miss? Was there an email that we junked?

Goblin Squad Member

I also never received a claim code. Who do I speak to about getting one?

Anyone who has not received a claim code should email customer.service@paizo.com

To be sure, I think these Claim codes are only for people whose Kickstarter and Paizo emails do not match, so they can start using the pledgetool?

I never received a claim code, but my emails matched and I have had no problems accessing and using the Pledge Tool.

Goblin Squad Member

How do I make sure my address is "active".
Its got my right address as "alternate address" but also saying "no active address".

Also have the minis been sent out yet? What is the "claim code"?

Goblin Squad Member

Ops... just noticed Tyncale's note. My email addresses matched too... and I've already used the pledge tool - just after it went live.

Finally managed to get to the addons page.

I clicked all the numbers all the way to confirmation...button 2 still shows up as red so dunno if I got this right.

And yes nowhere is there a "manage" button.

I also have been able to use the pledge manager, right up to the point where I attempt to pay for my add-on's above the amount I paid at the end of the KS campaign. It has allowed me to enter my credit card information, but won't actually use it to pay for the additional amount.

Thanks Ryan, will hop on that now.

So glad I didnt opt in yet

Please be aware that add-Ons are currently disabled in the pledge manager (not the Goblin Squad Store).

I'm working that problem.

The only thing I would want to consider changing would be upgrading from Adventurer to Crowdforger to get into Early Access. I was under the impression that there was a wipe between Early Access, and Open Enrollment or Launch. After the management console had closed out I had heard that our progress would not be wipped, but the ship had already sailed for me to get into EA.

Is it possible to get into EA now or is that opportunity gone?

It is possible; you have to pay the full price for an EE pledge, but it's there. This is what I did as soon as the store went live. :)

Choose the Pioneer level (100$).

So even though I already pledged $35, I would have to add on an additional $100?

I would want to pay the difference or get rid of some of my add-ons. Right now I have $35 pledge level with $50 worth of add-ons. for a total of $85 so if I strip down some add-ons and use my $35 I can get the the 100 dollar level with a light financial burden. however if I need to pay an additional $100 on-top of my $85 just for EE, its not worth it.

Goblin Squad Member

It would seem so; you do have to pay an additional $100 for EE (unless there's something I'm not aware of, in which case I''d be happy for someone to correct me :) ).

Is there any plan for an upgrade tool for the new store, to upgrade to a higher membership option?

If I decide at a later point that I would like a higher pledge level, I might not be willing to purchase it straight off since there is plenty of overlapping features that I already paid for...

Lisa below:

If you are interested in upgrading your pledge level, just email customer.service@paizo.com and they can handle it for you. The amount of programming it would take to automate that function doesn't stack well with the number of people who would take advantage of it, so we will handle it with people power for now.

You could try this...

Goblin Squad Member

I see; thanks for correcting me Bringslite. Well, maybe I should send them an email, cuz maybe I could get credit for that 35$ for more Goblin Squad Store swag! :) (also sorry for the ninja edits; I do them a lot)

I can get to "My Pledge Drives", but can't "Confirm" because add-ons and shipping address are red.

I pledged at the $100 level and paid $100. I am getting no add-ons.

$100 is (so far as I can tell) an all-digital tier. There is nothing to ship to me, so you should not need a shipping address (except maybe a country so that you can determine VAT, depending on where you're located).

What do I need to do to confirm my strictly by-the-book, nothing added, nothing to ship pledge which should be utterly brain-dead simple to handle, since it's just "Yeah, see my pledge level on kickstarter? That's everything I want. Drop me an email when I get to play and we're good."

$100 gets you the miniatures.

I've tried mailing customer service twice now. My email on paizo and kickstarter aren't the same.

But I don't get any answer so far.

I have not received an email with my code. I didn't realize until today that it wasn't there when I tried to register it with Paizo's website. Can someone please help me?
Thanks!

I think that the first thing is to email customer.service@paizo.com .

I actually never got a code either, "Goblin Squad Member" just magically appeared by my name one day. It was a lovely surprise. :)

CEO, Goblinworks

You only need a code if the email you used with Kickstarter is different than the email you use on Paizo.com.

Goblin Squad Member

I wrote to you over the weekend Ryan. Did you receive the email?

Yesterday I received a mail through customer service, advising me to claim my reward. But still no code...

Liberty's Edge Goblin Squad Member

I went to the pledge tool (not goblin store) and tried removing an 'additional player pack' to see if that would make other options visible, but it seems to have only given me $10 credit back instead of $15, so putting it back leaves me with $5 due. How do I fix this?
