There appears to be a glitch in the system. It won't let me register for anything during the 11-12 Fri time slot because it says it conflicts with Green Ronin & Pathfinder, which isn't till Sunday according to my schedule. (It won't let me add anything on Sun either.) Additionally, Green Ronin & Pathfinder no longer is listed any where on the event listings.

Ditto for me. Help!

To be sure, I think these Claim codes are only for people whose Kickstarter and Paizo emails do not match, so they can start using the pledgetool?

I never received a claim code, but my emails matched and I have had no problems accessing and using the Pledge Tool.

Thanks Ryan, will hop on that now.

Neither I nor my wife have received codes to redeem on Paizo. What did we miss? Was there an email that we junked?

For the few Star Wars fans out there, you might be intrigued by this art project being crowd funded.

Chris Woods is a well known award winning realist painter who loves to probe modern culture. Star Wars is his latest vehicle and looks very cool.

Wow they are all so great! They have all really poured time and creativity into their outfits and style. Zach should have snagged a white long hair wig to ace it 100%. :) I'm going to have a struggle with the vote, but really wanted to shout out to all the candidates for their hard work and talent. You all rule!

Second this strongly. It's those little things like the card or personal responses that make all the difference. Keep it up an the future is gold.

Friday July 27th is read an RPG book in public day and I, like so many, primarily use my iPad for all my Paizo books. So the thought came up, via Johnn Four chat, why not have cool RPG skins for iPads and iPhones? Core Pathfinder, maybe 1st Ed. AD&D GM guide! Show your nerd pride in the 21st century.

Just a quick question - was reviewing my schedule and my Friday morning event appears to have disappeared? I was sure I had signed up for #3-25: Storming the Diamond Gate 8am slot, but now it's blank. Now that the event schedule is locked down, will I be able to try for that slot on the Friday morning?

--michael

Ignore - I hit buttons until it resolved! ;)

I have accidentally signed up for two events in h same slot, how do I undo the conflict?

Stores should be getting their bundles a few days in advance.

Cool beans! Thanks.

Should I email customer service directly about not receiving store credit for PaizoCon GM'ing? I ran two slots, but as yet no credit, so thought I should ask.

--michael

Dark Archive

Little off topic - this is my first PaizoCon and I have volunteered for a couple of blocks. I have received one scenario, which I presume is for the Sunday morning block which is one of the slots I picked as it is listed in that block. Still waiting on the Friday slot I volunteered for as well.

Do we need to print out the Chronicle sheets ourselves and bring them to the Con? Will there be some type of battle mats provided? As I'm traveling from Canada, I want to minimize the cross border fun and giggles by packing only the essentials.

Any tips from the pro's would be great!

I'm looking for information about the Vancouver, BC Pathfinder society, or Pathfinder players in the area. Far as I've been able to find, nobody is running anything at the moment except for private games.

I'm looking to start running PFS games locally in Vancouver. I did for about a year when PFS first started, but had very little success running at game stores and game days. Greater Vancouver is a strange gamer town - I bet you we have more game stores per person than anywhere else in North America, but we have never had success at organizing large game events. There were Con's 10-20 years back that had 300-400 people, but they were rare beasts. We have a large gamer base, but they tend be a lot of CCG gamers, playing in the shops and the RPGer's are all at home.

I know you've been mustering a game in town, so that gives me some hope that it might catch on. We had a huge Living Greyhawk base in Vancouver, but once that ended, people withdrew to home games or hopped to 4ed and LFR, although most of those folks said they would never do that! :)

So TheeGravedigger, maybe in the end, we can get a little local action going. Once there are some players a few GM's monthly or bi-weekly game days can start happening. Already I have had two players from when I tried originally message me about playing!

There is the Trumpeter's Salute Con happening first weekend in April (at Bonsor by Metrotown) which is a wargaming Con, but they usually have a two or three RPG tables. I'm going to attend and run PFS for must blocks and see if I get some traction.

In the meantime I'll be looking for a game space (in store or maybe a common room) to run a couple of blocks each month.

Tim, if it's officially happening in June, then I'm going to go ahead and change my ticket.

It is indeed. It is OFFICIAL. June 12-14, 2009. Paizo-run PaizoCon.

People in the Paizo Community have been planning all sorts of things to make and give away for prizes. Hugo's inspired a PaizoCon Fanzine! Lilith's making a fabulous mini! N'wah and Ben are also making a special mini for a prize! PaizoCon-exclusive Pathfinder Society events! A chance to play in a game run by a Paizo staffer or contributor!

We'll see you in June, my friend!

My wife and I are really looking forward to this event. She tends to get overwhelmed at the large Cons, but this sounds to be just the right size. I'll be banging the drum in Vancouver and through the Vancouver Gaming Guild!
