I wonder if they will have riverboats or ships anytime within the first year.
I'm inclined to think they'll still be ironing out the implementation of the game systems they have planned. I suspect it will take some time before ships are included.
Having said that, I do think it would be cool. It is the River Kingdoms, after all; what possible form of travel could fit better?

I think first priority will be getting ourselves set up at the settlement and exploring the local hexes. We have no idea how fast we can accumulate influence or if it will even be in EE day 1. Lots of stuff to learn so let's not get ahead of ourselves in the forecasting Brighthavens development department. So much to do and so little that we know makes us all anxious channel that energy into recruiting more folks to Brighthaven!

The riverboat to Brighthaven will leave around the same time as that to Forgeholm. (just needs implementing ships and strip-mining 30 hexes of neutral and enemy territory to below the waterline).

As great as all of the bumps are. How about we get something more substantial going in here as well. Maybe bring The Person Below Me game over here or something. Give folks a reason to join in. And let the wider community in on it too.

Welcome Theats, always glad to meet a fellow ACE character. I think construction/domestic management/diplomacy falls under the same Aristocrat skill umbrella, if I've read the tea leaves correctly.
Nice to see your avatar on here is somehow the great grandfather of my CotP forum avatar. I suppose that makes us avatar relatives.
As for the Reagan/poofy-hat-charming-man avatar relation, I see none yet. But the person below me does.

Also / alternatively, consider making a membership on our forums and you can ask us whatever in our public forum section. Questions about Brighthaven or TEO? Great! Do you have just regular questions about PFO? We can help with that too. One of the benefits in having a lot of active and helpful people in TEO is the knowledge base that comes along with it. This is one of the reasons I joined TEO, as I'm sure Early Enrollment will be a confusing time and I wanted to have a lot of people who could potentially answer my questions.
We also have members who are shift workers as well as European members, so there is a growing number of players that will be potentially online at all times to go adventuring with. I am a shift worker myself and so if you're around at 2 am CST, that would be terrific!

False. I was unaware Blaeringer had a ring. There is far too much community goings-on for me to keep up with everything here, maintain a full-time job, and have a family. Sorry to let you all down!
The person below me participates in something that may be considered an extreme sport.
For the uninformed, this forum poster is Blaeringr.
Basically, Blaeringr played/is playing an unending mind-game of spying on everyone; his ring would be his network of contacts spying on the major groups in game.
Example of Blaeringr's (proposed?) tactics to illuminate the point.
If I can't have multiple accounts, then how can I log onto my assassin and use him to assassinate my other character to convince the company I've infiltrated with that other character that I'm not really a spy?!!
In addition, Blaeringr formed Tony's Totally Legitimate Breadbaking Business, a bakery that helps solve problems:

True, I have no idea how that would work, but true. I've hoped to play a Necromancer (TN - Good intents balanced against evil methods) ever since I saw the Dread Necromancer write-up in 3.5e D&D's Heroes of Horror book!

I have played a NG Necromancer before, you just use spells to call up the dead and ask them if it is OK to use their bodies/souls/whatever, and if they say yes, all good to go.
False, I do not, although half of this room is full of D&D/Pathfinder Stuff as well as tons of D&D/Pathfinder/Star Wars/War Hammer 40k miniatures.
