Shaun of the Dead and Dr. Strangelove; Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb in there somewhere, too.
Um...they took it from the movie I quoted also.

Cool Hand Luke wasn't it?

Whoops, looks like I miscounted.

First movie:
" I am the great traitor. There must be no other. Anyone who even thinks about deserting this mission will be cut up into 198 pieces. Those pieces will be stamped on until what is left can be used only to paint walls. Whoever takes one grain of corn or one drop of water, more than his ration, will be locked up for 155 years. If I want the birds to drop dead from the trees, then the birds will drop dead from the trees. I am the wrath of god. The earth I pass will see me and tremble. But whoever follows me and the river, will win untold riches. But whoever deserts..."
Second movie:
" A: Tomorrow will be like today, and the day after tomorrow will be like the day before yesterday. I see your remaining days as a tedious collection of hours full of useless vanities. You will think no new thoughts. You will forget what little you have known. Older you will become, but not wiser. Stiffer, but not more dignified. Childless you are, and childless you will remain. Of that suppleness you once commanded in your youth, of that strange simplicity which once attracted men to you, neither endures, nor shall you recapture them.
C: You're a mean, ugly man!
A: Mirrors are often ugly and mean. When you die, you will be buried and forgotten, and that is all. And for all the good or evil, creation or destruction, your living might have accomplished, you might just as well never have lived at all."

Man, I must watch entirely different movies than you people. Nobody's gotten either of mine, and I've hardly known any of anyone else's.
Same here, bar a few movies that everyone's seen.
Let's try something non-fantasy non-scifi:
Michael O'Sullivan was my great friend, but I don't ever remember telling him that.
The words that are spoken at a funeral are spoken too late for the man who is dead.
What a wonderful thing it'd be to visit your own funeral; to sit at the front, and hear what was said; maybe say a few things yourself.
Michael and I grew old together; and at times, when we laughed, we grew young again.
If he were here now, if he could hear what I say, I'd congratulate him on being a great man! And thank him for being a friend.
And something subtitled:
Because of my decision today, many people will die, and your majesty will go on living. A dead man begs you to never forget the warrior's highest ideal.

Coolest ... dude ... ever.
I want to say The Ten Commandments.
Let's try this one:
"Who's Arthur?"
"Just the ship's computer."
"Excuse me, I resent that. After all your body's just a machine too. How would you like it if I called you Meat Brain?"
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Rob Roy.
... I don't really remember anything else from that movie. :/
That's appalling. It's so much better than Braveheart, with arguably the single best and most realistic sword fight in movie history, and you "don't really remember anything else."
As Bugs would say, "For shame, Doc."

Mostly, I think, it's because I remember the really old one instead (although it seems there's an even older one that I've never seen), and only caught some of this one on tv once, as I recall.
For my addled brain, remembering the one quote devoid of most context is actually pretty impressive. :)

"You speak English?"
"Yes."
"Get your butt over here."
Is that... Hunt for Red October?
(I'm really not sure, it's been a loooooooooong time, though I loved that movie.)"She's a princess.. and the last thing she will want is a hairy chest!"
Willow! Willow! Willow! Willow! Willow! Willow! Wil-... sorry. I'm just excited.

It is, indeed.
"How do you like that cigar?"
"It's good, sir."
"It's your first?"
"Yeah."
"Well, don't like it too much. They're more expensive than drugs."
