Just an NS update for those interested: NS5 and the NS Campaign Guide are both sitting on my desk awaiting development as soon as this big piratey white whale will get out of the way.
Yes and poor Greg Vaughan, as if med school wasn't bad enough, he's got Blonde Frog riding his #$$ to do The Blight as soon as he's done with RC and NLS5. "What's that you say, you need time to write, come on Greg just get it done already! Jeez" *Rolls Eyes*
P.S. Greg, who's scary? BwahahahahahaBlonde Frog |
DM Jeff wrote:Gha. OK, 3 hours to go. I’m a $110 pledge who gets bumped to $150 for being an original backer in the day. I don’t get the ship combat rules unless I add on $7? $15? $20? Please let me know and I’ll do it to help push further!$7 for a PDF version of Fire as She Bears and $15 for a print copy.
That's right and you'll want to add those amounts to your order now but keep the reward level the same. That tells us it's extra money and then you can specify how to spend it on the survey.

I just upped it for a second print copy of Fire as She Bears anyway. If I can't get a second copy, well, it'll help us on the way to the next stretch goal, and maybe pay for my copy of it, whatever IT is.
Gosh, I hope the next stretch goal isn't a evil clown monster that lives in the sewers of a small town in Maine, USA. That would be... disturbing.

brvheart wrote:Yeah!!! It went up $6 right at the end, very strange. Missed added my $10. Hopefully I can get an invoice for it, if not I will print the Player maps.Yup, you can just add it on the survey and get an invoice for it later.
Thanks Blonde Frog. I think I have messed up my pledge enough for Bill to figure out! I will add it to the survey and do the $10 through Paypal.

I plan on using The Lost Lands as my campaign setting. I view Razor Coast as a solid cornerstone for The Lands. I'm pleased to see this funded.
To those of you newcomers to The Northlands Saga, it is an under-appreciated series and probably different from the settings you play in. It has gotten better with each installment so far. If you like the first three, you should definitely go ahead and get #4. you can read my thoughts on the series if you want some more info. Spoilers are clearly labeled!
I fully expect the Northlands Campaign Guide to be another excellent foundation piece of the Lands.
It is very, very cool to see a version of "NecroWorld" finally coming out: and even bigger and better than conceived of back in the day. Kudos to Frog God for making this happen.
Wish you guys could clone Greg V!

I know we are talking about Razor Coast but I just got this. Our gaming group had a reporter over this last Saturday for the Express News and he did a long article about our game running Rappan Athuk. I though the Frogs would enjoy the promotion:

Ten Thousand Humble Thanks to All You Mighty Backers!
You are shining examples of why I consider gamers to be the best and brightest this world has to offer. You have adventure in your hearts, sorcery on your minds, and steel at hand. Grasp the helm firmly, friends. We set sail for the Razor!
A few months and we shall hold it in our hands!
Thanks again for all the amazing support!

Brandishing it over your head while shouting, "At last my arm is complete!" is entirely optional (albeit from a better source for musical parody than "Chess!"; how did I miss that one?).

That, Sir, was awesome! And makes me realize that I haven't been listening to Chess in far too long a time.

It boggles the mind to consider the journey that has been Razor Coast. A journey of troubled waters that has now ended with our arrival in the calm waters of Port Shaw. As someone who preordered the original offering and who followed the progress both on the Sinister Adventures forums and here on paizo.com, I'm absolutely thrilled to see this realized finally.
I can only imagine the burden that has been removed from Nick Logue's shoulders now and that thought is heartening. Nick, I hope the success of this Kickstarter sees your creative flame reignited and that we'll see your name on the covers of many adventures in the future. You're a good man and an amazing game design talent.
I raise my glass to toast to the success of this Kickstarter. To everyone from Frog God Games. To Lou. To Knick. And to all of my fellow gamers who helped make this finally happen. I cannot wait until Razor Coast stands on my 3PP shelf of gaming goodness and I can finally release the horrors of Dajobas upon my poor poor players.

Well said, Ravenmantle!
I'm writing a formal thank you letter for all you fine backers for the site, but it won't be up until tomorrow most likely (I am in rehearsal until late today - sneaking a post here and there, bad theatre teacher).
Quick word though: You all have brought me back to life. A year ago today, I planned on never putting fingers to keyboard again to create RPG content, and now after this humbling out-pouring of goodwill, support, kindness and enthusiasm, I feel the dark urge to design horrors that must be unleashed on your players once more.
There are not enough thanks in an ocean of thanks to express how grateful I am to you all!
More to come in an official format tomorrow.
WE DID IT! RAZOR COAST LIVES!
