Bill,
Any timing on the Hero Lab files? I'm looking at running Rappan Athuk online and that would make my life a lot easier! Thanks,
Jeff...
Going to be about the same time as the print book, late Sept at the earliest, still working out some bugs.
Problem with having so many unique, bizarre creatures/NPCs is a LOT of work has to be custom made, and I mean down to the programing levels.
We'll let you know ASAP when they're ready!

Just a quick note to everyone: The PDF is available for purchase at the Frog God Games website.

Feel free to raid the herb garden for incense and take as many sacrificial virgins as needed, but please remember to recite the charm before you pick up the book: Klaatu, Verata, Ni--oh, hell what was the last word? Hold on, I've got it written down somewhere...
...verata, necktie? Necklace? No...
Inquiry to the status of the pdfs: sent. News when I know it, or Pale will reply.

Thanks Skeeter, appreciate the time line.

One nice thing about having HeroLab updated to support so many new and custom creatures, many of which come from the Tome of Horrors Complete, is that they can also be used for other FGG products, most notably Slumbering Tsar. I'm not sure how much crossover there is between the two in terms of ToHC creatures, but I'd bet there has to be some.

As massive an effort as it is creating the HeroLab files (and d20Pro Map files, lest we forget) for RA, it is just as big a task to try and do it for ST, which I'm sure many of us are also planning to run at some point, so any carryover benefit from this effort to that one is certainly appreciated!

I received 2 different emails telling me I could download the additional files from the Kickstarter. However, when I tried to download the sign-in window kept returning to the previous sign-in and would not allow me to get to the new files. It just keeps returning to the ra5 files and even that won't allow me into the files anymore.

Where in Golarion would you place Rappan Athuk?
I would place it in the center of Absalom. Give those guys something fun to play with.
But truthfully when I was running a Necroworld adventure I put the Forest of Hope in the southern part of the Sanos Forest. For Reme I used Magnimar. For Bards Gate i just added it in between Magnimar and Wartle, and I used Sandpoint as Fairhill.
So, looking at this area, I found the pirate locations to be a bit problematic. It isn't a big part of the adventure and could have been re-flavored or removed entirely without much trouble, but I like pirates...
S, I found an area in Molthune that looks to fit the bill very well. The Witherbark Forest makes a good Forest of Hope and there is enough open area that you can fit in small towns and such easily. Bard's Gate can become Korholm by moving it South of the dungeon area and everything else looks to fall into place nicely.
And... I start running this bad boy on Sunday! Wish me luck. :D

I very much like the cyclopean deeps modules - takes me back to D1-3 (my first AD&D modules ever) :)
Really hoping there's going to be some follow up chapters expanding it further!
IIRC, there's supposed to be 10 Cyclopean Deeps modules in all.
So is this like an entire campaign inside one mega-dungeon? Do you do all your resting inside as well or can you come and go? What's the closest settlement? Bard's Gate?
It's not really as much a campaign as it is an adventuring site. There's not really an over-arching plotline, unless you count
...or more realistically: See how far you can get before you die!

Cool. That hex map of the underdark really brought back memories.

I was wondering if anyone who got their hands on the hard copy of the book could comment on the quality of the printing/binding etc. Is the paper matt or glossy? What about acid free or not? I know that the quality of the hard copy is supposed to be quite good but I would be interested in hearing what people have to say. Thanks in advance.

Are we getting d20 Pro maps too? I thought it was just the Hero Lab files... I would LOVE it if they did. I just spent like 4 days of playing with photoshop to make the damned first level of the Mouth of Doom for my group. I'd breathe sigh of relief if I knew that the map files were enroute too!
I also agree about Slumbering Tsar as well! I'm debating about using the Mouth of Doom to get the guys up to level 7 or so and then traveling over the Tsar.

Yessir, the Kickstarter rewards included both the d20Pro and HL files. Thank the lord too, because I run a totally online game using d20Pro and HL. Sadly, with the reality of being a husband and a father, there is no way I can create the d20Pro maps and HL files from scratch anymore. When I saw that RA was going to provide these, I was in GM heaven.

chopswil - I gave a pretty good accounting for them up above. But since I'm a nice guy, I'll repeat it:
Rappan Athuk (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
Rappan Athuk Bestiary (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
Color Libram of Fortunate Happenstance (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
B&W Libram of Fortunate Happenstance (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
Original Rappan Athuk Notes
Pregenerated Characters
Bill's 100 Lines
Player's Guide
Battle Maps
GM Screen
Cyclopean Deeps 1 (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
Cyclopean Deeps 2 (Pathfinder + S&W versions)
Cover Art JPG
Vampire Tribute JPG
Traveller Tribute JPG
I think that's a pretty comprehensive list...I don't believe that any of the pledges higher than mine would get anything extra. The only electronic products that are still forthcoming are the Hero Lab files, the d20 Pro files, and the bi-monthly Rappan Athuk subscription levels.
Disclaimer: I pledged a fairly high level...your pledge may not entitle you to everything I've listed here.
