I just wrote my first guide, its a racial guide so a slightly different slant, hope you all enjoy. I have been using these guides forever now.

Thanks.

I made a guide too.

There you go

Dotted and faved for future reference.

Liberty's Edge

Lastoth's Guide to Archery Rangers

The Cavalier's Code: An Optimization Guide

No love for these yet?

Also curious as to whether anyone is tackling a post-core only bard guide. Treantmonk's has always been the gold standard but there are too many great new options now to ignore.

I keep looking at it and thinking "This is what I was meant to do!"

But I still need to wrap up my Oracle guide.

Don't thank me, thank all the people who authored the guides. They put all the hard work.

Definitely dotting this thread.

I've been thinking on writing a guide to the Eldritch Knight, looking at the different combinations that can be done to get to that first level of EK. Would that be a welcome addition? Or needless because we already have Magus, F1/W9/EK10, P2/S8/EK10 and P2,S4,DD4,EK10?

I think an Eldritch Knight guide would be useful, though I'd probably include a section in the guide addressing the issue of why someone might want to play an Eldritch Knight over a Magus.

Agreed. Magus does some things very nicely, but EK has some inherent advantages (They could be spontaneous, and have higher lvl spells among other things)

Liberty's Edge

I also would like to see an EK guide. May have a character going in that direction in an upcoming campaign. Waiting for the pool of pre-gens to be created.

Thanks for adding the Arcane Trickster guide to the menu. I hope my guide puts the class in a new light for some of you.

Shadow Lodge

I've put links to all the guides on this wiki. Organized and everything! D20 Min-Max.

Any Guides out there for Gestalt characters?

Gestalt has so many variables based on DM houserules, partly due to the gestalt rules themselves not being terribly comprehensive. But a gestalt game where, say, you had unlimited multiclassing vs. one where you had to stick to class X // class Y would involve radically different advice.

There are a few decent universals you could try to build a guide off of though, like which classes tend to have good synergy, which ones just don't work together at all, and other bits of useful advice like how to maximize your action economy.
