Nothing like attending a wedding with all of your married friends to remind myself precisely how lonely you are. Fun times.
Either you have too many too old friends or they got married much too early.
I'm in my late 20s, and most of my friends are in the 25-35 range. As a point of reference, my parents got married when my father was 25 and my mother was 28.

Exactly what I am talking about, too early!

*said man being 35 and not even slightly close to anything resembling a real relationship, not mentioning a marriage*

Better than having seven evil exes like I do.

And how! I'll never understand...

As I'm mostly unaware of that show, anything I should know?

Looking kind of desperate, there, Archie.

(I can now see why Betty and Veronica are always around...)

It sucks now.

Just put in an 10-hour shift working at a coworker's incredibly understaffed side job. Laying down 100 feet of service entrance cable (in pipe, by myself) is not how I'd prefer to spend my Sunday afternoon. I'm f+&!ing exhausted, covered in mud and smelling like pipe dope, and I have to get up at 5 AM and do it all over again for the rest of the f!+~ing week.

Hmmm... I have never had an egg cream. Now I am curious what it tastes like.

It tastes like what you'd expect fizzy, watered-down, flavored milk would taste like.
you have to have it FRESH. If you let it sit, it will taste AWFUL. Timing is very important when enjoying an egg cream.
I refuse to take part in any cultural delicacy that involves a strange ritual beforehand. Good sir, I REFUSE.
Yeah, the last time I did that, the inside of my mouth tasted like burnt licorice for a week.

I see what you did there.

Seared duck breast with blackberry pan sauce, maple-glazed roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted Brussels sprouts with mushrooms. I am so glad it is cool enough to use my kitchen again.

Great!

This guy again, it's Max and cheese, it cooks just fine on the stovetop, no need to go all America's Test Kitchen with it.

Ran "We Be Goblins" for the Sunday gamers today.

It was an utter hoot.

The players got totally into playing goblins, up to and including the alchemist goblin dropping bombs on the other goblins (including one at negative hit points) and the group lighting the entire place on fire before realizing they were supposed to get the fireworks OUT OF THE PLACE before burning it.

They managed to come somewhat close to the absolute mayhem that was my kids being goblins.

But I'll still submit that 9-12-year-old kids make the best goblins ever.

EDIT: And thanks to an absolutely terrible borrowed d20 (its favorite number was 8), they won and there were no deaths. But it's an awesome little 2-3 hour session if you want it...

I've got one of those head colds where your brain is swimming and you can't think quickly, I'm exhausted from the disease, my nose is perpetually wet, couldn't figure out where to catch my bus to work because they rerouted for construction (luckily, I was lidicrously early and a near empty streetcar to where I work came rolling up right when I was getting especially frustrated), and my feet are just about ready to kill me for standing at a cash register all evening when I wasn't feeling well in the first place.

On the other hand, I found the most kawaii mug EVER at work, rode a cable car for the purpose of commuting rather than recreation, ate an ANZAC biscuit, got to chat with Germans, and found all the Uncharted PS3 titles and Dragon's Dogma on sale.

Wash, I guess?

It's a go board and stones in one package what did you expect? It's even smaller in scale than go board and stones usually are.

Do not. Get. The MSI970A-G46 mobo. Sucker has been nothing but trouble since day one. Still apparently can't support a 5 year old video card off a 600W power supply consistently, requiring me to swap the video card between slots periodically in order to be able to see anything.

GRAR!

No wonder this POS was on sale.

A writer wrote that readers tend to be more emotionally moved when the character wants to cry but cannot cry, than when the character simply cries, but it seems to be just the opposite for me.

Ingredients of "all natural" Apple sauce: apples, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup (for those that don't get enough corn syrup I guess), water, cinnamon and ascorbic acid to maintain color.

I'm not going to lie, I now want to go to the store to see what's in the not all natural Apple sauce.
