Btw Sebastian. Ive decided that my summoner is going to multiclass into druid so she can fit in with the rest of this ragtag group. Im also going to take leadership. My goal is to roll 100 dice each turn.
Our Curse of the Crimson Throne group currently has 7 regular PCs, two familiars, three cohorts and a ridiculous number of followers. Three of the seven PCs have taken leadership, two more are planning to next time they get a feat, one of the characters is going to multiclass to cavalier and get a horse companion, the sorcerer summons monsters every fight … it is madness.

I also took improved familiar this level :-) Its Madness but its fun Mandess....

Morning all....

It is a beautiful sunny day in Sydney and I am waiting to be told when our systems are up so I can go into work (our systems have been crashing all week because they have been outsourced. I have to work on the weekend to make up for the time lost).

My wife is taking my girls down to the park to play soccer with friends. There is a good coffee shop near the park they have traditional Italian doughnuts without the holes. It sounds like they will have a nice day.

I am not a fan of work today.

:(
Woohoo the system is still down I dont have to go into work today :-)

Congrats! Enjoy your day!

Going to the Park :-)

I'm sleepy, so I'm going to bed.

I'm going to try to beat the deadline tomorrow morning and post some more then.

It almost happened once Mothy.. The opposition threatened to block supply because they had control of the upper house. The leader of the opposition convinced the Governor General to sack the Prime Minister.

"Well may we say God Save the Queen... Because nothing will save the Governor General"... Gough Whitlam former Prime Minister of Australia.

"Maintain the Rage" - is my favourite one of his... (when we were playing Werewolf he was the head of the Glass Walkers.

Lindisty (and any other government workers) good luck with your pay, I hope they pay you.

Of course, when Witlam was dismissed. Hmmm ... I've familiar with the incident, guess I never really thought through that blocking supply would / could have a similar effect. Would it? Obviously the government couldn't pass a budget or supply bills, but (in the parlimentary system) wouldn't the existing budget remain in effect? So government agencies would not need to shut down.

Glad you don't need to work by the way.

It is, mostly. I have to admit I was feeling frustrated last session when it took us an hour of real time to walk down a straight corridor, and then an hour and a half to do a fight against two giant/troll/bear things. Mind you, that frustration was largley because I knew I had to leave early ... and it mainly passed when I completely kicked ass in the fight.

That is an issue - too many people talking at once (maybe too many people around the table) GM + 5 has been my preference its easier.

I might be GMing the next game...Gav was interested in having a rest to recharge his batteries, we will see how we go.

weekly update. Early in week five of tobacco cessation. Personal goal of 25 miles ran this week on the elliptical and I actually worked out all five days of the week.

Too bad I didn't catch "D" in time to suggest Demeter, one of my most favorite Greek Deities. :)

Good Morning FAWTLys! Less than two hours until the great server change. Thanks PMG for scheduling it for today. Its our first Shackled City session so I wasn't going to be on much anyway. (Actually, I hope it goes smoothly and doesn't take as long as planned.)

Looks like the government shutdown has been averted (at least for now).

Wolfie: Hope you mend quickly.

Welcome MadClaw and Welcome back Sebastian and Hugo.

And add to me the list of gamers not into anime right now. I did watch most of Deathnote and enjoyed it but I couldn't really get into the other ones that my boys watch.

Yeah me too. I don't find a need to hate on it, after all to each his own, but I find the conventions a little too strange for my tastes.

I guess I am a Tolkeinite at heart.

It was 6am PST until 8PM Hawaii Time apparently the bit about the end time being specified in the Hawaiian time zone got lost in editing.

Spoiler:
Gary had some unexpected issues with a misbehaving router so it took longer

Paizo Employee Senior Software Developer

The main change took a half hour or so longer than planned, but we had an unrelated problem that prevented posting from working for several hours after that. But now I think we're 99% back to normal. (I will fix the remaining 1% tomorrow.)

Liberty's Edge

Tell me about it. We got a new server at work, and since then have had a lot of computer type issues that are apparently unrelated ...

Liberty's Edge

So a very long day for Gary by the sounds of things. Get some rest man, sounds like you've earned it.

Servers eh! you cant live with them and you cant smash em to bits with a hammer, pour lighter fluid over them set them on fire and dance naked around them as you are sacrificing a goat to Gnarly Hotep the patron Elder Evil of surfers, while waving your unmentionables at random passers by..... or can you?
