Yeah, no, I'm not allowed to smack that one. He's the one who bit Whingey Wizzard.

Of course I'm cooking naked.
I have strong feelings about pancetta.

Ran upstairs to change into comfy clothes and slippers.
Came back downstairs to find stupid collie has just finished eating half a stick of butter.
Bonus points: he completely ignored the 1/4 pound of pancetta.

...this dog wouldnt be named Freecollie, would it? Or Colliehold?

Juat curious.

If I were that collie, the pancetta would be gone and not the butter. Love bacon!

His name is Jack, and he looks like someone played Giant Growth on a Jack Russell Terrier.

Boo!

Had to check out the new look.

Really, I'm waiting for the laundry to be done so I can move it to the dryer and get some sleep.

At the bottom right of each page is an All Messageboards link. Clicking on that will take you to the root messageboard list. From there you can navigate to wherever you want to go.

OK, I tried that. Now where are the pathfinder rules and advice threads? I can't find them?

I'm still not a big fan of the new look, but I think it's better now than it was yesterday.

Mort, use the links that Gran provided, or select the Pathfinder RPG subforum in the Pathfinder forum.

In other news, my Wednesday group had it's last meeting tonight. 3 or 4 of us are going to try and find another couple of people and see about starting a Friday night game, and/or meeting one or two Wednesdays a month to do board games. Either way, it seems my time as a GM is likely over, for now. I'll miss it, but frankly I'm just glad to game.

I will say this, one of the reasons we were dropping two of the players is that they don't pay attention very well. When we got there, we explained to him that the group was ending, gave him some reasons that spared his feelings, and then gathered all our stuff and played two games of Elder Sign as a "Farewell Game" of sorts. Then we left, taking all our stuff with us. He even helped carry stuff out, especially since one of us had brought some chairs. As he's helping load the last chair into the owner's van, he says "So, why is everyone taking all their stuff, anyways? Are you guys not coming over anymore?"
*facepalm*

Gran, too bad you're not in Pittsburgh. I'd be honored to sit in your games.

Lol. Now that is wilfully ignorant to the max.

Gran - ignorance is bliss.

Especially in call of cthulhu games, because the more you know, the more your sanity suffers.

At least on the bright side you didn't hurt their feelings too much since they didn't know what was happening...

John yeah, I did that. Just means more clicks I suppose, but I can live with that.

Well I've given up on gaming pretty much so no tables for me. Maybe a basket to snooze in might be nice.

*Looks at her hat gathering dust*

Eh, it's just a thin layer.

I'm kind of curious if I'm going to get a text from him next week saying "Where is everybody? It's XX:XX and no one is here yet."

I don't know how "honored" you should be, but I'd let you play. So long as you actually play.

That's going to be awkward. But I suppose you get to explain that since you guys aren't gaming, there's no need for you lot to pop over at his place any longer.

Alternatively maybe you guys can still pop over, for non pathfinder stuff?

Were they not paying attention for Elder sign too? Different strikes for different people you know.

I think I'm better off behind the GM screen generally since I don't know anyone who still GMs who is as rules anal as I am.

No, they were up and down and not really paying attention during Elder Sign either.

I do alright in PFS, but that's only one weekend a month. I need more. Before my one brother's suicide, we played every weekend.

I'm sorry about your brother's suicide. Going back to PFS must have been hard for you. I don't think I could have done it...all the painful memories attached.

On a side note:

I don't really get why people say you shouldn't GM for your BF/GF. I definitely didn't show any favoritism and at one point of time nearly got to describe the entire party losing their humanity and turning into animals ^^ D@mn for protection from evil foiling my diabolical plans =P

He was sooo panicked at the near loss of sanity he dropped his weapons and ran to a corner to hide.

My BF would have made an adorable fox, and I did tell him so after the session.

I am not that comfortable sitting at the same table as he is(too chaotic and into personal freedoms) is true.

Not everyone is as immune to favoritism as you are Mort.

So this week's Tavern Brawl is basically Arena. I don't like Arena. Ugh. Guess I'll grind out my three losses and see what kind of reward I don't get.

The Exchange

I also don't like arena. But someone wrote a guide for it!

Maybe that user manual would help?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Meh. I just don't like the whole idea of it, so I'm not gonna read about it.

And done. Went 0-3, got 30 gold and a pack of cards. Yay.

I dunno what was my record. Maybe I'll get to see if I can set up one. But I do occasionally win some stuff in arena, like maybe 1-2 wins...

Are the arena tickets free?

It's okay, Mort. It happened a long time ago. Here's the link if you're interested.

This week's Tavern Brawl is Arena-like. You build a Wild deck from your collection instead of draft, but otherwise it's just Arena.

Sorry, I'm not flagging spam posts on this new forum layout. Don't even know where to find them lol.

I already read the link. It got me snuffly. Sorry. I'm as curious as any cat.

Well if you can choose from your collection, then what difference is it from a standard wild deck? Part of arena was RNG.

It tracks your wins and losses like in Arena. 12 wins or 3 losses ends your run, the better you do the better your prize.

Then I shall put on my deck building hat and go to battle! I'm sure I can mech mage and Antonidas some sorry sap...

Do I want to craft a Dr. DOOM?

I find my spell deck a little slow in dealing with current meta. Maybe a few more creatures like mechs may help me survive early game till I can Antonidas and fireball stuff up.

A Game Master must never forget that the ultimate say is theirs and they get the final word.

Commitment - eh - not a issue for me. I would run it to the end...if everyone was willing.

Finally found zenigata heiji on youtube!

Now if I could only find that other series I used to watch. All i remember is that it starred a samurai who was in charge of a district and his two totally not ninja assistants. Solved mysteries every week.

Just got done with my part in flagging spam. With all that I do every week, I may as well be a Paizo employee. :P I swear, I wish I could reach through the monitor and slap these morons for the obnoxious amounts of spam they sent. Around 50 posts. All that time they wasted with doing something un-productive. None of us read Korean. None of us live in Korea. This is just so ... GRAAAWR!!!!

I found it! Abarenbo shogun! One of the longest running shows ever made, along with zenigata heiji! So happy!

Luckily, it isn't often and it passes quickly, but sometimes, it's especially annoying.
