Torillan/Gohrum:

Spoiler:
Would Gohrum have been open to being hired as a body guard for someone on there way through Daven's Rest?

Yes, I was thinking something along the same lines in my rough draft of his background.

OK. Uldhazel is ready to go. Please let me know if there is anything she needs. Please note that due to her amnesia I have left one of her language slots empty.....a language she can speak - even though she is not aware of it.

Alright, I'm working on getting the introductory posts set up, and they should all be finished by tomorrow afternoon/evening.

One small change. I removed Detect Magic (figure every caster we have will have that one covered) and added Prestidigitation to the 0 level spells list.

Actually, I have a question about Prestidigitation's application: It would only be an hour's worth but what if I wanted to color my hair for an hour, change my eye color for an hour, or rougue my cheeks and lips for an hour... would that work?

Obviously, no change that Prestidigitation makes would not be enough to influence any skill attempt in any way and, for me, it's mostly an asthetic and character flavor thing that would fit my idom (allowing me to keeping things warm, my clothes clean, and make a minor color changes to my appearance like color of my fingernails, hair color, eye color, etc. or garments in the designated weight/volume for the span of an hour).

I could maybe try to bluff somebody looking for me that I was not who they were looking for (based on hair color or whatever) but, even then, every other trait would be what they are looking for so something like that would just be an uninfluenced bluff check anyhow (the hair color gives me a way to RP it mostly or make it possible/plausable which may be an advantage the spell did not intend).

I have no problem with you using it to do things like tidy your clothes and make minor, temporary cosmetic alterations (although these effects will be limited and will only rarely, if ever, give any real bonuses).

Male Human Inquisitor (1st)

I'm heading off for a family weekend today DM Grim. If you fire up the thread I probably won't get a chance to post in it until tomorrow night sorry to say. If you need Irian to interct with anyone to keep the posts up, feel free to NPC him. His personality is a completely blank slate at the moment so I'll run with what you go with.

Otherwise, I'll post tomorrow when I get back from the overnight camping trip.

Cheers all

PS. Also quite excited about starting this one. A new character class for me and a GM designed game has me all sorts of happy about the great unkown.

Oh yeah, all cosmetic "oooh and ahh" stuff.

I can see her casting it over and over on each nail to give them color or brushing her hair only to have it change color with each brush stroke. I just know that sometimes a GM can be sticky about the language of a spell and, say, an eye color, is not inanimate coloration. I appreciate the clarification!

And the game thread is up here.

Is there any type of gnome homeland or area in/near Ustalav where my character would likely be from? I'd like to say she's from XXX in this discussion with P'Aye, but not knowing Golarion at all makes it a bit difficult.

I think the River Kingdoms is nearest to Ustalav that is a gnome homeland. It is due east. You can check it out on pathfinderwiki.com

Agreed. There are all kinds of Varisian gnome communities. The forrest near turtleback ferry is one but I can't think of the name ATM.

The Sanos forest?

Yep, that's the one. I recalled a few yarns about gnomes in Kaer Maga (which I have integrated into my post). I am regretting not buying "Gnomes of Golarion" at Gen Con this year now... :)

Male The rules don't contain a specific for a mix of all races..... Drafter 20/Father 8

Dungeon Master Grim - I am just not feeling this character. Sorry for dropping like this, but it just doesn't feel like he's meshing with the others. Hopefully if you find someone new, they will compliment the group better. Thanks for the opportunity, have a good game everyone.

Sorry to see you go.

Grim, do you want to replace him or shall we continue with the group we have?

P'Aye, if you're interested, I've started running a Kingmaker game but seem to need to replace several players already (they stopped posting).

I've already got a cleric (and witch and rogue) but I like your posting style if you have a different character you'd be interested in running.

Character generation is heroic (2d6+6 for the stats), with max starting wealth.
