The folios are great when you do not want to explain to the general public that you do not belong to a backpacking club, a geological society or are a fan of a totally unknown rock band. ;)
I love explaining those things to the public! THEY NEED TO KNOW MY NERD LEVEL!!!
:D
I bought a folio way back when cause it was the cheapest way to get a reroll. May still be, but don’t know if they even have more to sell for pfs1. Got a bag too recently on a super discount.

@GM Top - Sadly determining the nerd level of your typical avid gamer is not exceedingly difficult. :) I try to mix it up a bit and begin my role playing before the adventure actually begins. It is more fun that way.

I signed up to run a game at GenCon a few years back and got a free shirt out of it. Comes in pretty handy I must say.
The most hilarious part was about a year ago I wore it to go grocery shopping (figuring eh, who cares) and this Black dude who I would not remotely have pegged as a gamer pointed it out to his friend and struck up an excited conversation with me. He was a big Starfinder player and, when I admitted I hadn't tried it, encouraged me to do so.

GM TOP |

Ain’t forgot y’al, just in the middle of a three day work stretch. 12 hr shifts, yay.

![]() |

Yep, I've been there. 12s make it really hard to do pretty much anything, it really feels like all you do is work.
We'll wait!

Bit Player |

Just a heads up to everyone that I will be away from April 12th to 24th. I will try my best to post but I have left bot instructions in my tagline (Bot Me) should my character be idle for too long. :)

![]() |

I should've made this explicit before the fight started--with Lini's player gone, I was waiting for the GM to bot her when Salvio asked her to help with the eagle. As a Core gnome with CHA>10, Lini can cast speak with animals once per day.

GM TOP |

A lot of things should be made explicit, I can not read your minds.
I can however resolve this issue super easily using existing rolls.
The eagle flies into the middle of the room to lure the enemies away. The enemies go first. The big dude instead launches a cage onto it. The cage grapples and bites the eagle. A wolf moves in and chomps it to death. Another wolf moves in and attacks Des (this one misses, she gets her 8 HP back).
Map updated, group is up. Your original plan of having them chase you through the complex and running out the other exit is still viable to attempt. So is fighting a retreating battle. Or just engaging with the tight quarters. Or something else, but we are in initiative now.

GM TOP |

I’ll bot Lini to drop a flaming sphere on the wolf soon, but am waiting to have a spot to bring Droo in to fight.
Unless you all want to try a retreating battle or something else.

I am back from vacation. Thanks for botting me! :)

Worked this weekend and was busy on top of that. I started a combat post update, but ran out of time yesterday. I will set aside time today to get the game updated. If everyone (me too) can post decently the next few days we can wrap up this fight and scenario, we are close.

[Dice=Greatsword + bless + Inspire Courage]1d20+7+1+1
[Dice=Damage + Inspire Courage]2d6+12+1
Might have been overlooked in the crossposting. :-)

GM TOP |

Has to be Adamantine and Bludgeoning. :(

![]() |

Wow, that's a nasty DR... :-O

GM TOP |

Yeah, it was an odd choice imo. Hardness 5 woulda been a lot smarter. But there is the adjustment with a four person group to drop it to Adamantine OR Bludgeoning, so maybe that’s why it wasn’t hardness?
My guess is the writer just decided to come up with a super super set of custom monsters for the last fight.

Presuming you'll want this soon:
Name: John Woodford
Character: Salvio Perovsky
OP#: 67750-15
Progression: Slow
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: Craft (Illumination): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Purchases (from start): Headband of Vast Intellect +2, 4000 gp
Let me know if you need anything else.

I have all that info on the slides, I just need the rest of the Dayjob rolls for anyone that has them.

Bit Player |

Despite Lini having a +3 modifier in a craft she is not trained in that craft. ;)
So no day job for me. :)

Day Job Roll: Perform (Oratory): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
That's 20 gold.

![]() |

Profession (soldier): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Nice! Too bad day job results only care about multiples of 5 lol.

That is one of the few things I really like about pfs2 vs. pfs1. Earn Income in pfs2 has benefits to crit success and consequence to crit fail.
By the way, this group has succeeded at all the required social checks and adventure checks to get full rewards. There is a little more roleplay and you all are welcome to close up the sepulcher as you wish, but there isn't anything else mechanically required.

GM TOP |

Correct. But that is a great idea!

GM TOP |

The game has been reported and I do have the chronicles mostly done, but I just gotta be at home in front of my computer to get them uploaded. Ideally tomorrow but maybe Saturday. Either way, soon!

![]() |

I can see the session. Thanks for running! That was a pretty tough fight at the end, but we had some good luck (to go with it never missing a save against Salvio's spells, but at least the grease spell did some good).

GM TOP |

As promised the chronicles are here!
It is a very good chronicle. A spectacular boon and a variety of items Core PC's can't get normally. Nothing crazy, but nice to have more options.

Bit Player |

Nice.
Thanks for taking care of this motley crew! :)

GM TOP |

And that's it. I'll give everyone a couple days to grab chronicles and make this inactive. Thanks for playing!

![]() |

Good stuff. Thanks for the game!

Chronicle looks good. Thank you for running this, GM TOP!
