If some nation or culture had a secular 'day off work / worker appreciation' sort of day, I could see the temples of Cayden and Calistria being very fond of 'everyone takes the day off and spends their day at the bar or brothel day.' :)
But the gods themselves? Eh. Some might roll their eyes at the hubris of people calling a secular festival a 'holy day,' but, for the most part, it's a non-issue.
OTOH, Pharasma takes a dim view of days off, because she never gets one, and when she tries, they make bad movies about it. She's been sitting in that chair, judging people, for the last 10,000 years, with no potty-breaks. She's past grumpy. The last time she snuck out for a smoke and left an illusion in her place, programmed to alternatingly say, 'Hell, heaven, hell, heaven.' it was a huge disaster.

Do you pay attention to favoriting posts for feed back? For example, if I also was interested in a Kyonin book, would you prefer that I favorite the original post or that I respond with +1 or whatever?
Favoriting posts isn't really something I watch. If folks want a book... it's much better to see lots of posts asking for them.

Mr. James Jacobs,
Do you think the inherent illiteration in your name destined you for writing as a career? It just rolls off the tongue.
Second, are we there yet?
(Man have I had too much coffee today.)
If you take off, have a great holiday.
First, not sure. I suspect the fact that my parents and grandparents encouraged my reading habits early on had more to do with it.
Second, nope; not yet.

I didn't even know there was a Apollo 18 film before your post. How it is?
For Labour day: Adabar I think. Labour day is about just wages for the work you do. something that Adabar will support.
And probably Asmodeus and Zon-Kuthon will find it a travesty as you should pay your workers as little as possible.
Apollo 18 just hit theaters yesterday, so it's not like it's been out for that long. Haven't seen it yet anyway, so I can't say how it is yet... although the reviews are Not Good...

Why does my dog carry used socks around like some sort of foot-smelling trophy?
What should I do tonight?
Is it bad that some of the haunts in Carrion Crown struck me and my player as so incredibly funny?
What does tofu taste like? I'm allergic so I can never know.
Caffeine: good drug or best drug?
Foot Fetish.
Watch some Netflix—might I reccomend some MST3K?
Not bad... just means you find humor in suffering.
Tofu tastes like whatever else you put on it.
Good drug.

For those who don't worship deities, the final judgement of Pharasma generally results in the dead being sent on to whatever outer plane is closest to their alignment/personality; they become petitioners even if they don't worship an actual deity. Of course, if they were remorseless sinners or failures or whatever, the spirit gets sent on to be punished in whatever outer plane is most appropriate fro the dead person's alignment/personality. Some of the spirits even get reincarnated, or in other cases are allowed to set out to simply explore the Great Beyond on their own—that last fate is what generally comes of atheists (although some atheists... particularly those who failed in life... end up in a special part of Pharasma's boneyard—that's basically the eternal damnation version for an atheist).

Foot Fetish.
I spat out my rum and coke after reading this! Why? Not sure, I may be immature, but now I will have to spend a few minutes cleaning coke off of my keyboard before my desk gets all sugary-sticky :(.

Dear James Jacobs,
This question came up during my game tonight, in which I play a Human Magus.
I'm a 3rd level Magus who is thinking about taking the Extra Magus Arcana at 5th level so I can gain another Magus Arcana. My problem is, however, that I am a Bladebound Magus; therefore I traded away my first Magus Arcana for the Black Blade.
My question is whether or not I qualify for the Extra Arcana feat, as the only prerequisite is to possess the Magus Arcana class feature. The logical answer seems to be no, as I don't physically possess Magus Arcana, however, my level is high enough that I would normally have a Magus Arcana under my belt.
What do you think and how would you rule it in this situation?

While your GM may take pity on you... you don't have Magus Arcana yet so you don't qualify for the feat.

To your knowledge what % of D&D gammers went to pathfinder? Also since you love dinosaurs and theirs the beast rider class you should make a book about dino's as mounts, for-instance the deplodicus, spinosaurus, or mega-raptor.
I have it on the absolute best and top authority that it's more than 1% but less than 100%.

Regardless of your answer, feel free to elaborate and tell us why.
You also wanted Dwarves of Golarion to be the last of the racial companions =p

I have a player who wants to play an awakened raven. What ability adjustments would you recommend? Any other recommendations you can think of?
I'd grab the raven stats from the Bestiary and slap the awaken spell on them.
Which would mean that the ability adjustments would be:
STR –8
DEX +4
CON –2
INT +0
WIS +4
CHA –2
Not all that great stat mods for a PC, and then the fact that you don't have hands and that very few, if any, of the magic items you'll find or can buy will even fit you might make playing a raven kind of tough. It'd be a really tricky thing to pull off for the player AND for the GM.
I would instead suggest that the player play a tengu.

Having worked in the sales department for WotC for several years before I worked at Paizo, and thus having had actual insight into the sales of 3rd edition when it was launched, and now seeing how many folks are buying Pathfinder, I have a relatively good educated guess about the percentage of D&D players who might have become Pathfinder players... but I'm not going to say that since that's not public knowledge. Sorry!
A book about dinosaurs as mounts wouldn't really be a long book, alas; it'd have to be filled with a HECK of a lot of art to pad it out to even the minimum amount of 16 pages for a print product, I think. In any case, the rules already allow for dinosaur mounts—they're animals, so the rules for horses as mounts work the same for dinosaurs.

I'm not at liberty to say, alas. Beyond dropping hints here and there, of course. Check out the "Ask Merisiel" thread for a lot of those hints.

Yup. I don't always get what I want. (Note also the fact that the back cover of Inner Sea World Guide has a dwarf on it, rather than, oh, ANYthing else?)

I have suggested tengu, but I'll leave it up to him. And I looked in the Bestiary, but I couldn't find the entry for raven. (I am finishing a translation of Robert Jordan's Knife of Dreams, so I must be going blind.)
By the way, have you read Jordan?

The raven is on page 133, in the familiars section. Which, honestly, is another possibility; play a wizard or a sorcerer or a witch or a druid or a ranger—a class that can get a raven as a familiar or animal companion...

The inner sea world guide mentions nations can be found along the Garundi coastline south of the maps.
Holomog is mentioned as being on the southeastern coast.
Also mentioned there (in the ISWG) are Chauxen, Tirakawhan, Dehrukani, and Droon.
Has it been determined which side (east or west) of the "horn" of Garund these nations are located?
If so, please tell.

All we've ever said in print anywhere about those southern Garundi nations, to this point, is what we mentioned thre in the Inner Sea World Guide. That said... those nations are located both east AND west of the Horn of Droon.

How much would each dino cost in your imagination?

What exactly is the difference between being denied your dexterity bonus to AC and being flat footed besides the attack of opportunity? A great deal of effort seems to have gone into separating the two terms that appear to be otherwise synonymous.
As long as you are flat footed you can't act at all (barring specific feats/builds). It your dexterity is denied (for example by a invisible opponent) you can act normally.
So in one situation you can use immediate or free actions outside your turn, in the other you don't.

Flat footed means you're able to be sneak attacked, I believe, while simply being denied your dex bonus does not. It's almost 2:00 AM though and I'm pretty sleepy so I might be misremembering.

Hi James,
I have a question concerning the runelord Alaznist. She is described (in dungeons of golarion) as a dabbler in demonology who also encouraged her followers to worship demons.
With that in mind, I was surprised to learn from Inner Sea Magic that one of the forbidden schools for wrath magic was conjuration. Was that intentional or an oversight? If its the first, was she somehow able to overcome her school's limitations or was Yamasoth pretty much doing everything demon-related for her?
Thank you in advance.
