Kingmaker Player Handouts

Kingmaker

3 people marked this as a favorite.

I'm a big fan of giving the players handouts, so I made a few printouts for the first two Kingmaker modules. They include the two charters from Restov, plus the quests that are posted at Oleg's and on the board in their capital city. Just print them out on parchment and just like that - instant props!

I'm going to do the same for the rest of the modules - can't wait to do Irovetti's invitation.... I'll post them here when I get them done.

Oh and this is my first Pathfinder experience, so if I've posted anything that violates the CUP, let me know.

Sweet!

I have been looking for handouts for the "a charter arrives from Restov"-quests, and a handout-charter for the colony that arrives at the end of Stolen Land/the start of RRR. This is awesome, the little treasure map is also very nice.

Great work, much appreciated!

These are brilliant Fenix - really are... am in the process of prepping for starting our Kingmaker campaign and you've saved me a bunch of legwork.

Absolutely love the charters - printed on some old style parchment paper they'll provide the perfect starting resource :)

Like Jorgenporgen said - much appreciated

Thanks Fenix, this is a lot more than I had expected find. We just started our KM campaign last week, much appreciated!

The Exchange

I like these a lot. We begin our Kingmaker campaign in September and these have already been put to use. Will you be adding to these with the stuff from the rest of the chapters?

Awesome.

Dark Archive

Many thanks!

Thank you very much. Just finished CoT on Friday night so my group is chomping at the bit to get into Kingmaker. These will be awesome as handouts.

These are really well done and I look forward to using them! Quick question tho, for Stolen Lands Quest pdf 1 & 2, why only have some of the quests and not others? Or did I miss something?

Updated the files with The Varnhold Vanishing. The stuff for Blood for Blood should be done in a week or so.

Draznar - I only wrote up the quests that specifically said they were wanted posters and charters and such. The others I'm doing in-game as roleplaying.

Also, if anyone notices that I've forgotten something in the books that would make a good handout, let me know. Thanks!

Awesome, my players loved the charter for RRR and I'm looking forward to giving them the stuff you made for VV!

This is truly awesome! I'm definitely going to be using these :)

I've used a couple from the community and created a bunch as well.

Been meaning to post them individually, but here's the whole group:

You got the Stolen Lands map scanned from the AP on this site. You should remove it.

we started using that 'google template', but moved to Obsidian Portal as it seemed to have more capability

nice site all the same

I think your calendar may be off. I have the charter being granted on Calistril 21, 4710, nine days before spring.

Urzen Rogarvia disappeared on Desnus 21 4699 and Noleski Surtova became king on Kuthona 21, 4699. (Stolen Lands, page 60)

According to the Kingmaker Player's Guide (page 3), the adventure starts a decade after the disappearance of house Rogarvia, so now we're at 4709. Since the charter is granted in Calistril and we can't go backwards to get to Calistril, we need to roll forward from 4709 to 4710.

I removed some links that contained files redistributing Paizo's maps or other intellectual property.

I meant to post a thank you a couple of days ago. Cheers for a job well done!

So the files are long overdue for an update. College and work are interfering with me being able to get the next module out. Hopefully I'll get the Blood for Blood handouts done in the next few days.

In the meantime, I've added generic quest handouts for the first three modules for any GMS who want to give the quests consistently in the half-page layout I've been doing (though be forewarned, I didn't put any time in them, so they're kinda crappy =P ). I also added a list of dramatis personae to help keep track of names, as well as an Excel tool I use to run combats and keep track of player info.

If there's anything anyone thinks should be added, let me know.

Spiffy stuff, FenixFire007!

Is there a way to manually enable the macros ?

Oh, right. If you have XL 2007, the button shows up above the formula bar. Says "Security Warning Options" or sommat. That button will let you use the auto-rollers. If you have XL 2000 or earlier I dunno how you can turn them on.

So any news ón the kingmaker handouts? I really liked your work on the first 3 adventures.

Yeah, sorry. I've been trying to put time into the next module, but I'm right in the middle of finals. Architecture grad school is killer around these times. Good news, though, is that I'll be totally free in another week or two, so the next batch should be ready soon.

Thank you for sharing. I am prepping to run the AP. These will come in handy.

These are awesome! We haven't played in 2 years (4E wasn't for us) so after getting the the PF core book, Bestiary 1 & 2, and the APG, I got the Kingmaker modules and we're finally going to play again! Any chance handouts for the other three adventures will be made?

Thanks!
Chris

Hey all! Again, school got in the way of finishing up these handouts. Well, good news! I'm graduated and currently unemployed(!!!), so I'll have some free time coming up to finish these off.

I'm currently done with the modules up through Blood for Blood, as well as the invitation from WotRK. Hopefully by the end of the week the last two will be done.

Sorry they've been so delayed; hopefully everyone's not done with their campaigns yet. =P

Again, if anyone has any suggestions as to things that could be included, I'd appreciate it!

Oh, and I'd like to make a shout out to the excel Kingdom file in the archives: Kingdom & City Sheet.

I've found this file to be incredibly useful in the building phase. I'm sure most people have found it already, but just in case, I recommend it.

Also, make sure to check out the Kingmaker City Map Toolkit a buddy of mine put together (with approvals by by Lisa Stevens, Vic Wertz, and Dale McCoy Jr!).

Full props on this one! I started using it for my Kingmaker webpage, and my players all love it. And yes, it DOES work online! Many thanks, Elucidarian! Awesome addition!

Trying to download and print the updated set of the charters and quests etc, but the link seems to be old. The file is no longer at that location

Awesome handouts, thanks!

Just about to start Rivers Run Red tomorrow (well, the kingdom building part of it). Thanks for the handouts!!

It appears a number of the links in here are broken/removed from the site. Was looking to see if book 6 had been added, but now I can't find anything except in the first 2 links, which is limited to I believe the first 3 books. Any updates?

Hmmm, true enough. Updates for book 4 through 6?

Dark Archive

This is great! Dotting.

All of the links cept for the first one is broken, anyone mind uploading and making a mirror for his files?

Indeed, I would also appreciate a reupload. Much thanks.

Yep, me too!

I know I am raising this from the dead, but any help on kingmaker player hands outs. Been googling ad failing.

I don't have any of the files from this thread archived, but for what it's worth, I do have some links I've collected over the years.

For the charters, I just took screenshots from the module PDFs.

There's an Auld Grene Belt Mappe thread for a hand-drawn map covering the Greenbelt and parts east, with a still-live link near the bottom. This could be given to a party before heading into the Greenbelt, or could be found somewhere in the Stolen Lands.

Zuddiger's Picnic from AP 36 can be introduced earlier in the AP, and the community came up with many awesome versions: https://paizo.com/threads/rzs2l50p?Zuddigers-Picnic-artwork. Of the ones in that thread, I plan to use Blaarg's version for the complete book in my game, but also have the players find scattered pages from the incomplete series by Anthony Ian.

7 people marked this as a favorite.

Here's a bunch of things from this board I've saved (including that Auld Grenebelt map)

Group Backgrounds for tying your group together before the AP starts
Excel-based calendar and moon phase font for tracking time
A year's worth of weather taken from a similar lattitude and geographic area
Some hexploration descriptions and other ones for those without events
A nice poem about big N to drop pieces of throughout the AP
Deals from groups willing to provide BPs in exchange for various goals
Z's Picnic page by page description
Z's Picnic - folder with various illustrated versions
Mythic trials if you're turning your game up to 11
Brevic Noble Houses, Mivonese Families, and other factions for a more political campaign
KM errata & clarifications mentioned here on the boards
Grigori: a write-up and notes
The Auld Grenebelt map
Party roles if you wanna give some of the work to the players
Kingdom events
Fey Pranks
The initial charter
X marks the spot treasure map
The Stolen Lands composite map

If you have attempted to get to my linked file(s) above and found that you needed to ask permission, you have my apology. I was not regularly checking the e-mail address attached to the account.

I have now removed the google security update from hundreds of my shared files, so hopefully no one will have to ask permission to view them.
