About Golbez57
I've been playing D&D as a tabletop game since 1987 or so, but as an only child growing up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I had plenty of XP with creating and playing the parts of fantastic characters in imaginary stories--with both action figures and me as the actors.
The bonds with many of my closest friends were forged over games of D&D, Marvel Superheroes RPG, and Talisman. I owe a lot to the gaming hobby. My imagination has been fueled like never before over the past decade by Paizo's offerings, first by their "Dungeon" and "Dragon" magazines and now through the world of Golarion and the products through which we've gotten to know it. In addition to being a gamer, I am a husband, father, teacher, learner, reader, and out-of-doors enthusiast. I am in the business of enhancing the lives of young people, and currently do that as a 5th grade teacher at Grandville Cummings Elementary. My current professional interests include: classroom library curation, STEAM philosophies and practices, gamification, Passion Projects (Genius Hour/20% Time), alternative evidence of learning, and makerspaces.
