If the UK residents themselves have not gotten them by now then I'm not expecting them this week here in Belgium....
TPFG claimed that they're out of the door so either they have the slowest mail delivery system on the planet in the UK or someone is not telling the truth...
It takes 2 days at max to send something to someone else here in Belgium.

Unfortunately, these two possibilities are not mutually exclusive, lol... Yes, the UK is having delivery problems at the moment due to postage strikes. But TPFG have been less than honest about when they shipped the magazines in the past, so who knows what the real deal is. Either way, no magazines here in Cambridgesire today either...

Shadowcross |

When issues arrive from TPFG, do they bear dated postmarks?
Nah, that would allow you to uncover their lies easily.
Seriously, I wouldn't pay that company a single cent - it's by far the worst I've ever seen. I said it before and I'll say it again - I fail to see how a company like them can stay in business. It's just unbelieveable.
Still no sight of 149/358 in Germany.

Kamelion |
Still nothing here in Cambridge UK. In the meantime, packages from elsewhere in the UK as well as others from the USA have been arriving fine and dandy with no delay. The postal strike really doesn't seem to be having such a crushing effect here, despite TPFG's claims to the contrary.
Given the continuing non-appearance of Dungeon 149 and the lack of faith that I have in TPFG's claims, I'd like to ask Paizo to send me a replacement copy of Dungeon 149 please, as well as a guarantee that I will receive my remaining copy of Dungeon 150 as well as Dragon 358 and 359. I'm sorry to place this at Paizo's feet, but as a customer my relationship is with Paizo, not TPFG (thank god!) and I'd appreciate a swift resolution to this ongoing debacle. Many thanks.

crazy_cat |

Nothing received here (Cambridge) from TPFG, yet again.
I did get a nice package from an eBay seller that was posted on Monday however, so Royal Mail certainly seems to be getting through OK.
Have to echo what Kamelion said - I placed my subscriptions direct with Paizo. Could Paizo please fulfil the contract - I'd like the Dungeons 149 and 150 and Dragons 358 and 359 that I'm due sent direct please.
At least with Pathfinder being sent direct from Paizo I can have some confidence that the people responsible for sending my magazines actually have some vested interest in sending them, and more importantly in communicating with me if there are any unforeseen problems.

Medriev |

Afraid that I have to echo the above two posts and request replacement issues of Dungeon 149 and Dragon 358. This has become a fiasco and my contract is with Paizo.
As I posted above I have received Amazon orders within the last week that took 3 days maximum to arrive so the postal strikes do not seem to be affecting delivery too much. Frankly, I do not believe that TPFG have shipped the magazines and am utterly fed up of waiting. I would also be grateful if Paizo could ship me Dungeon 150 and Dragon 359 as soon as they become available.
At the moment it looks as if I'll be getting Pathfinder 1 before I get the last two issues of Dungeon.

Wow! All 5 pieces nearly at once...I will be like a child in the candy store, not knowing what to eat...eh read first. I am in the "happy" situation, that I have to write my thesis right now, so I won't have enough time to read them anyway, so as I can understand everyone's vexation for me it is: It is here, when it's here! And with one thing we can be sure with Paizo: everyone will get their issue eventually.

yeah try writing on that, and see if you get declared insane :D
or..

hmm..

Yea, still no 149 here..

ericthecleric |
No 149 for me, either.
If TPFG said "Customers, we're planning to send the last two issues (of each magazine) together, along with a refund check for those who subscribed via TPFG. Thanks for your patience." on their website, then we'd all be a lot happer. But no...
And I looked at their website today and it said their regular phoneline is down, as well (surprise!)- but an alternative number is given.

I don't understand it!
My FLGS has Dragon 358 and Dungeon 149 since the day before yesterday!
Nothing in the mail here.
I am slowly growing angry now... Even Dungeon 150 should have arrived here by now and stil nothing!
I'll wait until friday, if it hasn't arrived by then (as the issues are already in german FLGS, I will ask for a replacement shipping.
And I so desperately hope, that Pathfinder takes the "normal" routes to my house and arrives in time.
I don't blame Paizo, but what the PfG is doing, well... I better spare my words here!!!

Kamelion |
Gotta agree. Paizo are top of the tree for customer service. Just wish I could say the same for TPFG.
Anyway, nothing here in Cambridgeshire today either. And, unsurprisingly, a package from elsewhere in the UK that was ordered last Friday and mailed on Monday arrived today. Postal strike or no postal strike, the mail is getting through. Where are our magazines?

I just wanted to jump into these threads to let our European customers know that this delay concerns us greatly and we are doing everything that we can to get the situation resolved in a timely manner. I will be posting updates in these threads regularly and would greatly appreciate you guys letting me know when your copies arrive. As you all know, Paizo takes care of its customers and you will all be receiving your issues. Guaranteed. We started using The Place For Games as a way to get you your issues quicker and more reliably. The fact that this isn't the case right now troubles me. But the situation WILL get resolved and you WILL be getting your issues. Stay tuned as I learn more and thanks so much for your loyalty to Paizo and your superb patience.

Blah blah blah stuff etc

Message received. I paraphrased you a bit I think, but many thanks for the update. :)
EDIT: Just to see if there was any update (unlikely I know, but I thought I'd check) I went to the TPFG website - and I got the following message as a pop-up on their homepage:
"Unfortunately due to a credit card processing problem we are unable to process any store orders currently. We are not sure when this issue will be resolved. If you place an order, please note this will not be delivered as advertised."
Wild speculation here - sounds like someone has some serious business and finance issues that need resolving.....

Just wanted to say thankyou for stepping in and updating us on the state of play, Lisa. Paizo stands for customer service and I have complete faith in you guys to resolve this. Thanks again and good luck in sorting things out.

@Lisa:
First of all, thanks for your post - I really understand you are taking this matter seriously and are trying your best to resolve it.
BUT...
Stay tuned as I learn more and thanks so much for your loyalty to Paizo and your superb patience.
Patience? Sorry, but my patience has run out weeks ago. But what are we supposed to do? It's not like we have any chance to act. We're are forced to sit and wait and being told repeately "they will arrive soon".
But we can do nothing except sit and wait.. and suffer because of TPFG total incompetence in business. And the apparent lack of influence you - Paizo - has on them to fulfill their part of the contracts better.
It's not like we get any kind of reimbursement for the weeks we have to wait...
Sorry if I'm coming across as bitter and angry at Paizo - I appreciate your good CS and open communication with your customers - but I think you try to "protect" TPFG a little too much - you should openly confront them and demand actions/reimbursements for THEM screwing up majorily.

Tomorrow I will be away for three weeks (holiday and more), and as much as I would like to, but I am sure the magazines will be here when I come back home, without any idea when they might have arrived, so I can't give you that info!
If they are not here in three weeks, when I come back, I will send TPfG all my sons diapers from the last three weeks - yes, I start collecting them now! ;)
These days it seems, that except Paizo every other gaming company is trying to loose its cutomers... WotC, TPfG, and who else follows...

Harsh as he said it, I understand the anger. If Paizo would be a local company I would almost be tempted to file a complaint at our trades representitive. I know it is TPFG but my purchase is with Paizo and they took the responsibility for it when they received my payment. It does sadden me that TPFG throws mud on your excellent reputation and C.S. that I have seen.
As it is, you are not local and I can go nowhere with my complaint except on these messageboards. Since the only action I can do right now is with my money I'll be cancelling my Gamemastery and Pathfinder subscriptions by the end of next week if the issue is not resolved or some sort of temporary reimbursment is done (Like for example access to a pdf version of our magazines) or decent info is given. This is not something I thought of lightly since Pathfinder is something I have been looking forward to the last couple of weeks.

Sounds like TPFG is about to go belly-up, which of course means that no magazines have been mailed since they are probably using the money from Paizo to pay the most urgent bills. This would also mean that Paizo can look to the stars for that money, since they will be gone... if that's the case.
Luckily I'm just getting started to run Savage Tide, so before it's time for me to run Enemies of my Enemy and Prince of Demons the magazines will hopefully have arrived.
Oh, and just to be clear, still no Dungeon 149 or Dragon 358 in Malmö Sweden...

Delericho |

I'm just back from several days away, and had hoped the magazines would have arrived in the interim - they really should have by now if they'd been posted. But, although I had several pieces of mail waiting for me, there were no magazines.
This is very disappointing. And while the fault most properly seems to lie with TPFG, the reality is that this is starting to reflect badly on Paizo.

ikki |

Panda made a good point there, consumer groups would be all over you. Yeah, pdfs would be something nice to play with in the meantime.... aslong as everyone understands those are no proper substitutes.
Oh yeah, and it would be good to listen to that alarm regarding them going belly-up and plain out of money.
Credit cards systems are very rarely down like that, so unless visa is having problems id suggest listening -they are using the money for something else entirely.
Ive seen similar avoiding behavior in other companies going bankrupt, always stealing a bit more... and ever present excuses. Not hard to see why, considering how they have a reputation for being erratic..

Medriev |

Given the worrying news above which seems to indicate financial problems at TPFG, does Paizo have a back up plan? We European subscribers have been waiting a month or so now and have been offered nothing except advise to keep waiting.
How much longer will we be asked to be patient before Paizo does something to replace what we have already paid for?

Elcian |

When issues arrive from TPFG, do they bear dated postmarks?
Hi vic, As I think someone said unfortunately not. we tried this with 148 but it was not date stamped. However, since once they are in the royal mail they would get treated pretty much the same as all other mail (I think) it is a little odd they are not here. There are rolling strikes at royal mail so some delay was inevitable, but an item which Paizo sent out direct to me weeks after the mag shipped arrived over a week ago (Shadowdale, tearing of the weave. If you want to check dates).
Lisa,
Thanks for the input, No idea what the initial hold up was but TPFG seem to be either a) in trouble, b) useless or c)pulling a fast one (or maybe all three). The fact you are aware of the situation and bother to take the time to write shows again that you all care. I'm actually becoming glad that WOTC pulled the licence so Pathfinder comes direct to us. It might not be Dungeon but since we dont seem to be getting that anyway...
Roll on Pathfinder
