Just a question:

If you finally got hold on the magazines, how do you know, who already got Dungeon 149 (as there are a lot of people on this forum, who are so fortunate to have them already) and who has not - like me?

We'll do it the way we always do it, by trusting our customers to tell us if they didn't get a magazine. Once I have the back issues in hand, we will ask our European customers who haven't gotten issues to email customer service and we will then have those issues shipped from the UK. But please don't email customer service until we have the issues in hand.

Thanks!

Thank you for the quick answer.

Liberty's Edge

I had been on vacation the last two weeks.
I now am able to download Pathfinder1 and received Dungeon #149!
Still missing Dragon #359 and Dungeon #150.
I didn't read the last entrys here, so you may forgive me if this question has allready been answered but:

Do I have to ask for replacements or is the issue still not solved?

Tom, Lisa wrote that they still work to get the copies from TPFG, and asking for replacement copies would not help, as these are included in those that TPFG got (I guess that paizo sent a certain percentage for replacement with each issue, so as not having to send replacement copies additionally). So, asking for replacements is of no use, we still have to wait... (frustrating as it is...)

Thanx, Stefan!

Waiting, hm?! Well, Lisa will find a solution, I am sure! If Paizo can't manage to please their customers (I know that this is not Paizo's fault, but still they seem to work hard on the problem) nobody will! ;)

So, I'll wait... or buy them at my FLGS...or whatever...

Oh, and Lisa, get some sleep, no need to stay awake because of some magazines! (Yep, I managed to read the last few entrys here) ;)

We stay loyal!!!

Lisa, does that mean that if you can't get your hands on the magazines right now in TPFG's warehouse, than there are not enough copies left with you in the US to send out replacement issues for us?

I'm still missing Dungeon 149, Dragon 359 and Dungeon 150 by the way.

I have just bought 149 in my local shop, I still need 150...

I wish I had a firm date for you guys, but I don't. We have been working all week trying to get my company in the U.K. in touch with TPFG. They have the magazines at TPFG that we need to use to ship to you guys, so until we get those issues from TPFG's warehouse, there is nothing that we can do. We have been told that TPFG wants the magazines out of the warehouse, which we are thrilled to do, but I need them to contact my company in the UK so they can arrange for pickup. Once that is done, I can get you a clear timeline, but while I am at the whim of TPFG, there is not much I can do except continue to badger them.

Uhm, sorry, but I don't give a damn anymore on anything TPFG says... so if they really wanted to get the magazines out of their warehouse, why don't they call your guys?

Why don't your guys just drive there and ring the bell at the office/warehouse? Of course, armed with a nice selection of baseball bats, crowbars and 4x2s.

Why continue waiting for action from TPFG when they already proved over and over again that they are unable to do anything right?

Take initiative!

I know I'm normally first in line to be cursing and swearing at TPFG when they screw up, but there seems to be, and obviously is, more to this than just what we are hearing from Paizo.

I receive regular spam e-mails from TPFG as I'm on their mailing list (I presume thius is due to my subscriptions, as I've never bought anything from TPFG, ever) and this weekend I rescued one from my deleted items and on the off chance replied to it as follows:

"I have a subscription to Dungeon and Dragon magazines that TPFG are supposed to fulfil on behalf of Paizo.

Can you explain to me why I haven't received my magazines - and specifcially why TPFG haven't posted them, and aren't cooperating with Paizo attempts to retrieve the magazines and arrange alternate despatch?

Thanks

XXX"

To my absolute amazement I received the response below from TPFG this morning:

"We are working with Paizo and once commercial issues are resolved the last magazines will be dispatched.

Sorry for the delay

Cheers

XXXX"

Looks to me like, in typical RPG fashion, there are at least two totally independant and exclusive versions of the cunning plan underway at the moment. Heres hoping one of them actually suceeds and leads to some magazines being despatched.

Well, I'm fairly sure Paizo will demand money from TPFG for shipping the magazines to us.

Until they didn't get the money from TPFG, we will likely not see/hear of any magazines being shipped.

Lisa - correct me if this assumption is wrong.

I would like to know how it will be for the four back issues I must choose for my transition.
I hope they won't be shipped via tfpg again.
Please answer.

That is incorrect. We won't be asking TPFG for any money...it is all sunk costs and I just want the magazines in my hands so I can take care of you guys. Once my company in the UK has the magazines, they will start shipping right away!

Back issues for the transition are shipped from the US, so TPFG is not involved. So transition away!

Hey y'all:

The cunning plan is coming together. TPFG is in contact with Cerberus over in the UK and my guys are working on renting a van to head over to London to pick up the mags. We have been given times this week when somebody will actually be at TPFG, so that is great news. I will keep you informed as the van gets rented, driven to London, magazines picked up, driven back to Liverpool, and then labelled and posted. It is looking like some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's just hope it isn't a train!

Thanks again for your patience and support!

-Lisa

Yay! It might finally work out yet. Thanks for the info, Lisa.
(It might be just in time before Pathfinder #1 reaches me in print...)

Stefan

Hey, great news Lisa! Hope this sorts itself out soon - thanks for going the distance on this for us.

Actually, your van will probably pass by Cambridge en route from London to Liverpool, so you could, y'know, just stop by mine and crazy_cat's places along the way... y'think?

;-)

Hello Lisa,

this is good news, indeed!

Not intending to get on everybody's nerves: But could you please keep in mind that my address changed in the meantime (see my subscription details) and use my new address for shipping the issues?
Thanks in advance!

Greetings from Austria,

It will actually be my company, Cerberus, driving the van, and they are a bunch of miniatures gamers. I wouldn't want a fight to break out. :)

I guess not. Pathfinder#1 reached me here in Munich on Saturday. But I guess you will not take it for bad news ;-)

No, not all that bad, indeed. It might reach me in the next few days, then. I´m tired of reading the pdf anyway...

Another update! My guys are scheduled to pick up the magazines on Wednesday from TPFG. I'll let everyone know when they are safely in our hands.

You hit the nail on the head there - in both regards :-)

So, it is wednesday now, it should be 7:15am now in GB - I hope the day brings good news.

Stefan

Things still trickle in. When I came back from a short vacation in the UK Monday night, Dungeon #149 was waiting for me. So for this Danish subscriber, there's just Dungeon #150 and Dragon #359 to go.

Liberty's Edge

Woah! Pathfinder is here! Hurray!!!

Now I am only missing the last issues of Dragon and Dungeon, but this seems only a matter of days now, according to what Lisa told us!
When I've finished reading Pathfinder, the rest might show up in my mailbox finally... ;)

So, will this just concern 150 & 359 or also 149?

Status as of today:
Dungeon 149 - missing
Dungeon 150 - missing
Dragon 359 - missing
Pathfinder - missing

Hi y'all:

I have confirmation that my guys in the UK picked up the magazines from TPFG. Now we are trying to figure out if they are packaged and ready to go (ie. labels put on them) or if that needs to happen still. We have a list of folks who subscribed through Paizo, but not those who went through TPFG. TPFG told us that the magazines are labelled and ready to go, but we have no confirmation about htat yet. I should know more in the morning as they get back to us on the status of the magazines. But at least they are in our hands and once we sort out whether they need to be labelled or not, we can get to mailing them out. I will let you know when I get more info. But at least the magazines are in our hands now.

I love it when a plan comes together! *chews on cigar and grins*

Awesome news :-) Glad to hear that they are in safe hands - looking forward to seeing them arrive. Thanks!

Which Hannibal am I? ;)

Belgium here :

I slowly feel worry about the Dungeon 150 which isn't arrived yet !

Waiting for so long time that I think I will place myself in temporal stasis ...

Lisa, do you have some news about the last Dungeon and Pathfinder for Belgium ?

And for the Hannibal answer : John "Hannibal" Smith from A-team of course ! :-)

Anyway, still waiting for 149 and 150 here. So please get them going asap....

Just a short update on my magazine situation:

Dragon 358: arrived on August 21st
Dragon 359: MIA
Dungeon 149: MIA (if it was sent without a name there is a good chance it went back right away :/)
Dungeon 150: MIA
Pathfinder 1: Arrived here yesterday :)

Same for me.

Status for me here in Sweden

Dragon 358: MIA
Dragon 359: MIA
Dungeon 149: MIA
Dungeon 150: MIA
Pathfinder 1: Arrived here a couple of days ago.

If any of the Dragons or Dragons were sent without any name they will have been returned to sender if that was possible to determine.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, dying ....

I received Pathfinder 1 a couple of days ago (Gent here).

I received Pathfinder yesterday... Nice feeling and nice product.
Still no Dungeon 150 and Dragon 359.

Cheers

Amazingly enough dungeon 149 just dropped in.. 150 still missing.

Post office seems to have some powerful divination spells in this country.. as even mail sent to just "Grandma, Oravais" ~5000? ppl large community, can find their way right.. lol

status for me in France,

Dragon 350 MIA
Dungeon 149 MIA
Dungeon 150 MIA

Any news ?

Cédric

Any update? Are the magazines now ready to post - is there a confirmed date for postage yet?

Monday today and no more news about Pathfinder and, most of all, about the Dungeon 150 !!

I slowly become angry and dceived to wait for so long time ! What happened with that last Dungeon ?

I will begin Savage Tide very soon and would like to have read all that campaign before ...

Give us some news !

In Italy (Modena, precisely, in the north) I still miss:
DUNGEON 150
DRAGON 359
PATHFINDER 1

But today I received Gamemastery W1!! Weird!! :)

Pathfinder Adventure, Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Just as an update, still no Dungeon 150 or Dragon 359, here in Wales. I gave up last week and bought them from my FLGS so my subscription copies will likely be sold, or perhaps kept as momentos of the bigone golden age of print magazines.

Will post again when the magazines arrive and the way things are going, they'll be collectors items by then.

Would be nice if Paizo eventually offered its loyal customers some form of compensation for this monumental screw up but that seems too much to hope for.

Still waiting for DRagon 359, a sad way to see out the end of an era. Is Pazio any closer to resolving this?

Belgium here

I receive Pathfinder today and feel better to see I receive it in the usual time, so I'm not worried about the way I will receive the next ones.

And it's great job all of you ! Thank you for all you have done and all you will do in the next month, years, centuries ... :-)

BUT I really miss the last Dungeon 150 !! More than two month now I'm waiting for it and the conclusion of the great magazine, please give us some news about it... What happened with it !????
