Blast off into a galaxy of adventure with the Starfinder Roleplaying Game! Step into your powered armor and grab your magic-infused laser rifle as you investigate the mysteries of a weird universe with your bold starship crew. Will you delve for lost artifacts in the ruins of alien temples? Strap on rune-enhanced armor and a laser rifle to battle undead empires in fleets of bone ships, or defend colonists from a swarm of ravenous monsters? Maybe you'll hack into the mainframe of a god-run corporation, or search the stars for clues to the secret history of the universe or brand new planets to explore. Whether you're making first contact with new cultures on uncharted worlds or fighting to survive in the neon-lit back alleys of Absalom Station, you and your team will need all your wits, combat skill, and magic to make it through. But most of all, you'll need each other.
This massive 528-page softcover rulebook is the essential centerpiece of the Starfinder Roleplaying Game, with rules for character creation, magic, gear, and more—everything you need to play Starfinder as either a player or Game Master! Complete rules for starships, including customization and starship combat.
This is my first pocket edition, and I must say I love it. I was worried about the font being too small, but has excellent print quality and is not an issue at all. I really hope they continue this with the other books.
In case you can't tell, I'm a pretty big fan of Starfinder so I was pretty excited to see this on the release schedule. I love it so much I bought one for myself and then when I saw what a sturdy and easy to read book it was I got one for a friend.
My only complaint is, it didn't come with a towel.
So far, every pocket edition has had the same height and width, with only the thickness varying. From the nearby piles of books, I can tell you that the height of a pocket edition very slightly exceeds the width of a standard hardback.

If they haven't put out a hardback with errata, then we won't get a pocket edition with it. The pocket edition is always an exact match for the most recently printed hardback edition.
Yep—we've been hard at work ensuring that this product will include errata!
Does this mean that the pocket edition is actually more up to date than any existing printing of the hardback edition? If so, thanks for a welcome change!

The first post on this page, by Katina, is a one liner that I can't read, because the top 80% or so of the letters are cut off. More website weirdness. :-(

When that happens to me, I try ctrl and + to increase the resolution then back down again with ctrl and -. For some reason, that seems to work.

Any chance for an errata list now that both have been released and updated?

It looks like the PDF of the Starfinder Core Rulebook has been updated. Have the changes in this PDF already been posted in the FAQ/Errata, or is there some other place we can find a list of the changes from the original version?
Some of the changes are already listed on our FAQ/Errata page; the rest of the changes will be added to that page as soon as we are able. Thanks for your patience!
Like many here I want to know if the errata has been updated in this book? I mean no big deal with this version I can just write the errata in but having it in there would be nice

On the left side of the first page of the Table of Contents, there's a bunch of boilerplate, mostly a "who's who" at Paizo. Down at the bottom of the page is "First softcover printing July 2020. Contents match third hardcover printing."
