Update:
We've made some decisions regarding shipping of the Core Rulebook (and other August subscription products) and Core Rulebook PDF distribution. Here's the lowdown:
Assuming there are no major problems getting the Core Rulebook into our warehouse, we anticipate shipping subscriber orders and preorders starting the first week of August. We'll attempt to stagger-ship them based on transit time so that as many copies as possible arrive as close to the August 13 release date as we can manage. Of course, that's all up to the postal system—some folks will get it a day or two earlier, and some later.
The PDF will become available on August 13 as the Gen Con floor opens. The PDF will be priced at $9.99. Pathfinder RPG subscribers will get it for free (but not until the release date).

I didn't, because I'm that used to embarrassing myself on forums like this, that one extra time makes very little difference!
Now that you've pointed it out though, thanks, that was a nice gesture.

Maybe this has been asked already. If so, sorry.
I pre-ordered the book but didn't do the "subscription" (I'm bad, didn't do the research) do I still get the PDF?
Thanks!
James
P.S. Would LOVE to see how many Pre-Orders you guys ended with! Since Pre-Order has ended.
No, sorry, you have to order the PDF seperately. The free PDF is coupled with a subscription.

Pre-orders do not receive a free PDF. However, there is still hope.
First of all, you can pick up the PDF for the bargain price of $9.99 starting on August 13th.Second, if you would rather subscribe, you can still do so. Your pre-order would automatically be cancelled and replaced by the subscription copy (which will receive a free PDF). However, you would need to act quickly, since we plan to start shipping early next week.

Will the book version be shipped at the same time as the subscription version? I probably will leave it the way it is if they ship at the same time.

I haven't played in 15+ years, but I subscribed nonetheless. Why? So that when my nephews (and maybe my own kids) are old enough to be introduced to the game I loved for so long, someone will still be publishing *that* game...rather than the MMORPG functional spec that WOTC is pushing these days. And who knows? Maybe I'll get back into it myself :-)

Germany has the book now, too! Bought it today, looked it through...and I am overwhelmed. I played the d20 Series from the very first moment on (and even the older Editions carrying D&D in their names). Within minutes I absorbed all the differences to the original OGL rules! In all these years I didn't find a book that was such a valuable and balancing rules upgrade (I especially like the CMB and CMD for combat manoevers). I can still use my old material. And the future development of this game is now certain again! Needless to say that it also looks beautiful... Thanks for the good job, Paizo.

Hi there!
I'm a subscriber, and I'm havin' problems to download my free Core rulebook free pdf! How can I proceed?
You would be better off posting this in customer service to get help.
Of course it depends on your problem. You can't DL it until your account is charged for the book. Assuming that has taken place, then just log into your account, go to Downloads, click personalize and then click download if it doesn't on it's own.
If you have tried the above then take my first advice and post it the customer service section of the forum or email customer service so they can help you.

OK, do i understand this right? With the Pathfinder Advantage, I'll get 15% off other Paizo.com ordwea, but only AFTER the first subscription ships?
In other words, I just signed up for the Adventure Path Subscription. So, in order to get the discount on other pathfinder products, I have to wait until October to order them? (Because thats the next adventure path I'm eligable for?)

When you subscribe, you can choose if you want to get the most recent volume or the next volume. There is at last one volume of CoT shipping in September, so when you choose to start your subscription with this one, you should get your Pathfinder advantage as soon as this one has shipped.

I didn't see that option when I registered, so they have me down for October. Is there any way to go back and get September?

Post your question in the customer service forum and post your order number in the post and explain your problem. Cosmo or one of the others should be able to check and or fix it for you if you want.

Update: Looks like Cosmo took care of it. Now I just need to find out when the Pathfinder Advantage kicks in...
This subscription thign is a great idea....

If I add the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscription to my shopping cart, it is currently listed as starting in May with the GameMastery Guide and there is no option to let it start now with the GM Screen. I guess this is due to the GM Screen being on backorder.
When the screen will be back in stock, will I be able to make the subscription start with it? And is there an ETA for the second printing of the screen (the GM Screen discussion thread mentions the end of January or the beginning of February so it should be imminent)?

We're expecting the screen to come back in stock in about 2 to 4 weeks. Roughly. -Ish.
Assuming it hits our warehouse before the next product in the RPG line arrives, you would, at that time, be able to start your subscription with it.

Given the ruckus over the box set, have you guys considered making an "international" version of this subscription? The difference would be negligible - mainly avoiding all the complaints about shipping cost for things that aren't books.
Because I really do want this in my subscription, and I don't want my subscription nerfed because other countries use import taxes, customs fees, mysterious postal worker payoffs, and similar crap to boost their economies :)

If we thought things like the Beginner's Box would come up often enough to merit that, we'd consider it... but there's currently nothing else like that planned for the line.
(And frankly, there are international folks who *don't* have potential issues with the Beginner's Box.)

Personally, I think there's a vocal few rather than hordes clamoring for a change, but it's hard to tell from this side and I figured I'd throw the suggestion out just in case it helped :)

Given I'm getting what I want, there's no real need to post. Nonetheless, (purely to avoid staying silent and then having things changed) I'm an international folk who is very pleased the beginner's box will be included in my subscription.
I must admit I just don't see the issue people have with its inclusion given how generous Paizo are with cancelling subscriptions - is it really that hard for people to cancel a subscription and resubscribe a couple of months later? In my mind, that's far less of an inconvenience than the alternative (forcing those who want it to pay for the PDF(s) and to wait for the street release).

Seconded. Maybe both we're lucky not to have some of the hassles that European customers seem to have, but from where I'm standing making the set a part of a subscription line is a good thing rather than the converse. I'm sorry for the folks who have different import rules, but I also don't see why the people who aren't in their position should be required to lose out because of their situation.
